EINHEITSUBERSETZUNG BIBEL	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Die Wohnstätte sollst du aus zehn Zelttüchern herstellen; aus gezwirntem Byssus, violettem und rotem Purpur und Karmesin mit Kerubim sollst du sie machen, wie es ein Kunstweber macht.	1 'The Dwelling itself you wil make with ten sheets of finely woven linen dyed violet-purple, red-purpleand crimson. You will have them embroidered with great winged creatures.
2 Ein Zelttuch soll achtundzwanzig Ellen lang und vier Ellen breit sein; alle Zelttücher sollen dasselbe Maß haben.	2 The length of a single sheet is to be twenty-eight cubits, its width four cubits, al the sheets to be of thesame size.
3 Fünf Zelttücher sollen jeweils aneinander gefügt sein.	3 Five of the sheets are to be joined to one another, and the other five sheets are to be joined to oneanother.
4 Mach Schleifen aus violettem Purpur am Rand des einen Zelttuchs, am Ende des zusammengefügten Stückes; ebenso sollst du es am Rand des letzten Zelttuchs des außen zusammengefügten Stückes machen.	4 You will make violet loops along the edge of the first sheet, at the end of the set, and do the samealong the edge of the last sheet in the other set.
5 Fünfzig Schleifen sollst du an dem einen Zelttuch anbringen und fünfzig Schleifen am Zelttuchende des zweiten zusammengefügten Stückes; die Schleifen sollen einander entsprechen.	5 You will make fifty loops on the first sheet and fifty loops along the outer edge of the sheet of thesecond set, the loops corresponding to one another.
6 Du sollst auch fünfzig Goldhaken machen und die Zelttücher mit den Haken verbinden, eines mit dem andern; so soll die Wohnstätte ein Ganzes bilden.	6 You will also make fifty gold clasps, and join the sheets together with the clasps. In this way theDwelling wil be a unified whole.
7 Mach Decken aus Ziegenhaar für das Zelt über der Wohnstätte; elf Stück sollst du herstellen.	7 'You will make sheets of goats' hair to form a tent over the Dwel ing; you wil make eleven of these.
8 Eine Decke soll dreißig Ellen lang und vier Ellen breit sein; die elf Decken sollen dasselbe Maß haben.	8 The length of a single sheet must be thirty cubits and its width four cubits, the eleven sheets to be alof the same size.
9 Verbinde fünf Decken zu einem Stück und sechs Decken zu einem Stück; die sechste Decke sollst du an der Vorderseite des Zeltes doppelt zusammenlegen.	9 You will join five sheets together into one set, and six sheets into another; the sixth you wil fold doubleover the front of the tent.
10 Fünfzig Schleifen mach am Saum der Decke, die das Ende eines zusammengesetzten Stückes bildet, und ebenso fünfzig Schleifen am Saum der Decke, die das Ende des andern zusammengesetzten Stückes bildet.	10 You wil make fifty loops along the edge of the first sheet, at the end of the first set, and fifty loopsalong the edge of the sheet of the second set.
11 Fertige fünfzig Kupferhaken an, häng die Haken in die Schleifen und setz das Zelt so zusammen, dass es ein Ganzes bildet.	11 You wil make fifty bronze clasps and insert the clasps into the loops, to draw the tent together and tomake it a unified whole.
12 Den herabhängenden überschüssigen Teil der Zeltdecke lass zur Hälfte an der Rückseite der Wohnstätte herabhängen!	12 'Of the extra part of the sheets that overlap, half is to hang down the back of the Dwel ing.
13 Die überschüssige Elle auf beiden Längsseiten der Zeltdecken soll auf die beiden Seiten der Wohnstätte herabhängen, sodass sie sie bedeckt.	13 The extra cubit on either side along the length of the tent sheets must hang down the sides of theDwelling on either side to cover it.

17 jedes Brett soll durch zwei Zapfen mit dem nächsten verbunden werden. So mach es mit allen Brettern für die Wohnstätte!	17 Each frame must have twin tenons; that is how al the frames for the Dwelling must be made.
18 An Brettern für die Wohnstätte verfertige zwanzig für die Südseite!	18 You wil make frames for the Dwel ing: twenty frames for the south side, to the south,
19 Stell vierzig Sockel aus Silber her als Unterlage für die zwanzig Bretter je zwei Sockel als Unterlage eines Brettes für seine beiden Zapfen!	19 and make forty silver sockets under the twenty frames, two sockets under one frame for its twotenons, two sockets under the next frame for its two tenons;
20 Für die zweite Seite der Wohnstätte, die Nordseite, ebenfalls zwanzig Bretter	20 and for the other side of the Dwel ing, the north side, twenty frames
21 und vierzig Sockel aus Silber, je zwei Sockel als Unterlage eines Brettes.	21 and forty silver sockets, two sockets under one frame, two sockets under the next frame.
22 Für die Rückseite der Wohnstätte, die Westseite, verfertige sechs Bretter	22 For the back of the Dwel ing, on the west, you wil make six frames,
23 und zwei Bretter stell für die Eckstücke an der Rückseite der Wohnstätte her!	23 and make two frames for the corners at the back of the Dwel ing;
24 Sie sollen einander entsprechen und von unten bis oben zum ersten Ring reichen. So soll es mit den beiden Brettern geschehen, die die Eckstücke bilden.	24 these must be coupled together at the bottom, and right up to the top, to the level of the first ring; thisfor the two frames that must form the two corners.
25 Acht Bretter und sechzehn Sockel aus Silber sollen vorhanden sein, je zwei Sockel als Unterlage für jedes Brett.	25 Thus there wil be eight frames with their silver sockets: sixteen sockets; two sockets under oneframe and two sockets under the next frame.
26 Verfertige Querlatten aus Akazienholz, fünf für die Bretter auf der einen Seite der Wohnstätte,	26 'You wil make crossbars of acacia wood: five for the frames of the first side of the Dwelling,
27 fünf für die Bretter der zweiten Seite der Wohnstätte und fünf für die Bretter der Rückseite der Wohnstätte, der Westseite!	27 five crossbars for the frames of the opposite side of the Dwel ing, and five crossbars for the frameswhich form the back of the Dwel ing, to the west.
28 Die mittlere Querlatte soll in der Mitte der Bretter angebracht werden und von einem Ende zum andern reichen.	28 The middle bar must join the frames from one end to the other, halfway up.
29 Überzieh die Bretter mit Gold und mach Ringe aus Gold, welche die Querlatten aufnehmen; auch die Querlatten überzieh mit Gold!	29 You wil overlay the frames with gold, make gold rings for them, through which to place thecrossbars, and overlay the crossbars with gold.
30 So errichte die Wohnstätte nach dem Muster, das dir auf dem Berg gezeigt worden ist.	30 This is how you must erect the Dwel ing, fol owing the design shown you on the mountain.
31 Mach einen Vorhang aus violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus; wie Kunstweberarbeit soll er gemacht werden, mit Kerubim.	31 'You wil make a curtain of finely woven linen, dyed violet-purple, red-purple and crimson, andembroidered with great winged creatures,
32 Häng ihn an die vier mit Gold überzogenen Akaziensäulen, die auf vier Sockeln aus Silber stehen sollen. Auch die Nägel der Säulen sollen aus Gold sein.	32 and put it on four poles of acacia wood overlaid with gold, with golden hooks for them, set in foursockets of silver.
33 Häng den Vorhang an die Haken und bring dorthin, hinter den Vorhang, die Lade der Bundesurkunde! Der Vorhang trenne euch das Heiligtum vom Allerheiligsten.	33 You wil put the curtain below the clasps, so that inside behind the curtain, you can place the ark ofthe Testimony, and the curtain wil mark the division for you between the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies.
34 Setz die Deckplatte auf die Lade der Bundesurkunde im Allerheiligsten!	34 You wil put the mercy-seat on the ark of the Testimony in the Holy of Holies.
35 Stell den Tisch außen vor den Vorhang, den Leuchter gegenüber dem Tisch an die Südseite der Wohnstätte; den Tisch stell an die Nordseite!	35 You wil place the table outside the curtain, and the lamp-stand on the south side of the Dwel ing,opposite the table; you will put the table on the north side.
36 Für den Eingang des Zeltes mach einen Vorhang aus violettem und rotem Purpur, Karmesin und gezwirntem Byssus; Arbeit eines Buntwirkers soll er sein.	36 For the entrance to the tent you wil make a screen of finely woven linen embroidered with violet-purple, red-purple and crimson,
37 Für den Vorhang mach fünf Akaziensäulen, überzieh sie mit Gold und gieß für sie fünf kupferne Sockel! Auch die Nägel der Säulen sollen aus Gold sein.	37 and for the screen you wil make five poles of acacia wood and overlay them with gold, with goldenhooks, and for them you wil cast five sockets of bronze.'
