1 Die Israeliten nach ihrer Anzahl, die Familienhäupter, die Obersten der Tausend- und Hundertschaften und ihre Beamten dienten dem König in allen Angelegenheiten der Abteilungen, die Monat für Monat das ganze Jahr hindurch antraten und abzogen. Jede Abteilung war 24000 Mann stark.	1 Now the children of Israel after their number, to wit, the chief fathers and captains of thousands and hundreds, and their officers that served the king in any matter of the courses, which came in and went out month by month throughout all the months of the year, of every course were twenty and four thousand.
2 Die erste Abteilung für den ersten Monat befehligte Jaschobam, der Sohn Sabdiëls. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	2 Over the first course for the first month was Jashobeam the son of Zabdiel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
3 Er war ein Nachkomme des Perez und Haupt aller Obersten des Heeres im ersten Monat.	3 Of the children of Perez was the chief of all the captains of the host for the first month.
4 Die Abteilung des zweiten Monats befehligte der Ahoachiter Dodai, ein Fürst. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	4 And over the course of the second month was Dodai an Ahohite, and of his course was Mikloth also the ruler: in his course likewise were twenty and four thousand.
5 Der dritte Heerführer, für den dritten Monat, war Benaja, der Sohn des Priesters Jojada, ein Oberhaupt. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	5 The third captain of the host for the third month was Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, a chief priest: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
6 Dieser Benaja war ein Held unter den Dreißig und Anführer der Dreißig sowie seiner eigenen Abteilung. Sein Sohn war Ammisabad.	6 This is that Benaiah, who was mighty among the thirty, and above the thirty: and in his course was Ammizabad his son.
7 Der vierte Befehlshaber, für den vierten Monat, war Asaël, der Bruder Joabs. Nach ihm war es sein Sohn Sebadja. 9 Der sechste, für den sechsten Monat, war Ira, der Sohn des Ikkesch, aus Tekoa. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	9 The sixth captain for the sixth month was Ira the son of Ikkesh the Tekoite: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
10 Der siebte, für den siebten Monat, war Helez aus Pelet, ein Efraimiter. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	10 The seventh captain for the seventh month was Helez the Pelonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
11 Der achte, für den achten Monat, war der Huschatiter Sibbechai, ein Nachkomme Serachs. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	11 The eighth captain for the eighth month was Sibbecai the Hushathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
12 Der neunte, für den neunten Monat, war Abiëser aus Anatot vom Stamm Benjamin. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	12 The ninth captain for the ninth month was Abiezer the Anetothite, of the Benjamites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
13 Der zehnte, für den zehnten Monat, war Mahrai aus Netofa, ein Nachkomme Serachs. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	13 The tenth captain for the tenth month was Maharai the Netophathite, of the Zarhites: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
14 Der elfte, für den elften Monat, war Benaja aus Piraton, ein Efraimiter. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	14 The eleventh captain for the eleventh month was Benaiah the Pirathonite, of the children of Ephraim: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
15 Der zwölfte, für den zwölften Monat, war Heldai aus Netofa vom Geschlecht Otniël. Zu seiner Abteilung gehörten 24000 Mann.	15 The twelfth captain for the twelfth month was Heldai the Netophathite, of Othniel: and in his course were twenty and four thousand.
16 Diese standen an der Spitze der Stämme Israels: Fürst bei den Rubenitern war Eliëser, der Sohn Sichris; bei Simeon war es Schefatja, der Sohn Maachas;	16 Furthermore over the tribes of Israel: the ruler of the Reubenites was Eliezer the son of Zichri: of the Simeonites, Shephatiah the son of Maachah:
17 bei Levi Haschabja, der Sohn Kemuëls; bei Aaron Zadok;	17 Of the Levites, Hashabiah the son of Kemuel: of the Aaronites, Zadok:
18 bei Juda Elihu, ein Bruder Davids; bei Issachar Omri, der Sohn Michaels;	18 Of Judah, Elihu, one of the brethren of David: of Issachar, Omri the son of Michael:
19 bei Sebulon Jischmaja, der Sohn Obadjas; bei Naftali Jerimot, der Sohn Asriëls;	19 Of Zebulun, Ishmaiah the son of Obadiah: of Naphtali, Jerimoth the son of Azriel:
20 bei den Efraimitern Hoschea, der Sohn Asasjas; bei der einen Hälfte des Stammes Manasse Joël, der Sohn Pedajas;	20 Of the children of Ephraim, Hoshea the son of Azaziah: of the half tribe of Manasseh, Joel the son of Pedaiah:
21 bei der anderen Hälfte des Stammes Manasse in Gilead war es Jiddo, der Sohn Secharjas; bei Benjamin Jaasiël, der Sohn Abners;	21 Of the half tribe of Manasseh in Gilead, Iddo the son of Zechariah: of Benjamin, Jaasiel the son of Abner:
22 bei Dan Asarel, der Sohn Jerohams. Das waren die Anführer der Stämme Israels.	22 Of Dan, Azareel the son of Jeroham. These were the princes of the tribes of Israel.
23 Die Zahl derer, die noch nicht zwanzig Jahre alt waren, hatte David nicht aufnehmen lassen; denn der Herr hatte versprochen, dass er Israel zahlreich werden lasse wie die Sterne des Himmels.	23 But David took not the number of them from twenty years old and under: because the LORD had said he would increase Israel like to the stars of the heavens.
24 Joab, der Sohn der Zeruja, hatte die Zählung begonnen, aber nicht zu Ende geführt, da ihretwegen ein Zorngericht über Israel gekommen war. So wurde ihre Zahl nicht in die Chronik des Königs David aufgenommen.	24 Joab the son of Zeruiah began to number, but he finished not, because there fell wrath for it against Israel; neither was the number put in the account of the chronicles of king David.
25 Asmawet, der Sohn Adiëls, hatte die Aufsicht über die Schätze des Königs, Jonatan, der Sohn Usijas, über die Vorräte auf dem Land, in den Städten, Dörfern und Türmen,	25 And over the king's treasures was Azmaveth the son of Adiel: and over the storehouses in the fields, in the cities, and in the villages, and in the castles, was Jehonathan the son of Uzziah:
26 Esri, der Sohn Kelubs, über die Feldarbeiter, die den Boden zu bestellen hatten,	26 And over them that did the work of the field for tillage of the ground was Ezri the son of Chelub:
27 Schimi aus Rama über die Weinberge, Sabdi aus Schefam über die Weinvorräte in den Weinbergen,	27 And over the vineyards was Shimei the Ramathite: over the increase of the vineyards for the wine cellars was Zabdi the Shiphmite:
28 Baal-Hanan aus Bet-Gader über die Öl- und Maulbeerfeigenbäume in der Schefela, Joasch über die Ölvorräte,	28 And over the olive trees and the sycomore trees that were in the low plains was Baal-hanan the Gederite: and over the cellars of oil was Joash:
29 Schitrai, der Scharoniter, über die Rinder, die in der Scharonebene weideten, Schafat, der Sohn Adlais, über die Rinder in den Tälern,	29 And over the herds that fed in Sharon was Shitrai the Sharonite: and over the herds that were in the valleys was Shaphat the son of Adlai:
30 der Ismaeliter Obil über die Kamele, Jechdeja aus Meronot über die Esel,	30 Over the camels also was Obil the Ishmaelite: and over the asses was Jehdeiah the Meronothite:
31 der Hagariter Jasis über die Schafe und Ziegen. Sie alle waren Verwalter des Eigentums, das dem König David gehörte.	31 And over the flocks was Jaziz the Hagerite. All these were the rulers of the substance which was king David's.
32 Jonatan, der Onkel Davids, war sein Berater. Er war ein kluger, schriftkundiger Mann. Jehiël, der Sohn Hachmonis, war bei den Söhnen des Königs.	32 Also Jonathan David's uncle was a counseller, a wise man, and a scribe: and Jehiel the son of Hachmoni was with the king's sons:
33 Ahitofel war Berater des Königs, der Arkiter Huschai war Freund des Königs.	33 And Ahithophel was the king's counseller: and Hushai the Archite was the king's companion:
34 Nach Ahitofel war Jojada, der Sohn Benajas (Berater des Königs). Abjatar war Priester und Joab Heerführer des Königs.	34 And after Ahithophel was Jehoiada the son of Benaiah, and Abiathar: and the general of the king's army was Joab.
