Livro dos Salmos 24

SAGRADA BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Salmo de Davi. Do Senhor é a terra e tudo o que ela contém, a órbita terrestre e todos os que nela habitam,	1 [Psalm Of David] To Yahweh belong the earth and al it contains, the world and al who live there;
2 pois ele mesmo a assentou sobre as águas do mar e sobre as águas dos rios a consolidou.	2 it is he who laid its foundations on the seas, on the flowing waters fixed it firm.
3 Quem será digno de subir ao monte do Senhor? Ou de permanecer no seu lugar santo?	3 Who shal go up to the mountain of Yahweh? Who shal take a stand in his holy place?
4 O que tem as mãos limpas e o coração puro, cujo espírito não busca as vaidades nem perjura para enganar seu próximo.	4 The clean of hands and pure of heart, whose heart is not set on vanities, who does not swear an oathin order to deceive.
5 Este terá a bênção do Senhor, e a recompensa de Deus, seu Salvador.	5 Such a one wil receive blessing from Yahweh, saving justice from the God of his salvation.

7 Levantai, ó portas, os vossos dintéis! Levantai-vos, ó pórticos antigos, para que entre o Rei da glória!	7 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
8 Quem é este Rei da glória? É o Senhor forte e poderoso, o Senhor poderoso na batalha.	8 Who is he, this king of glory? It is Yahweh, strong and valiant, Yahweh valiant in battle.
9 Levantai, ó portas, os vossos dintéis! Levantai-vos, ó pórticos antigos, para que entre o Rei da glória!	9 Gates, lift high your heads, raise high the ancient gateways, and the king of glory shal enter!
