1 Logo que foi restaurada a muralha, colocados os batentes das portas, e que os porteiros, cantores e levitas foram encarregados da vigilância,	1 Now after the wall was built, and I had set up the doors, and numbered the porters and singing men, and Levites:

And while they were yet standing by, the gates were shut, and barred: and I set watchmen of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, every one by their courses, and every mall over against his house.

5 Meu Deus inspirou-me então que reunisse as pessoas importantes, os magistrados e o povo, e fizesse o recenseamento. 6 Entre os exilados que Nabucodonosor, rei de Babilônia, tinha levado cativos, estes são os habitantes da província que se puseram a caminho para retornar a Jerusalém e à Judéia, cada um à sua localidade.	6 These are the children of the province, who came up from the captivity of them that had been carried away, whom Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon had carried away, and who returned into Judea, every one into his own city.

72 Enfim, o resto do povo doou vinte mil dáricos de ouro, duas mil minas de prata e sessenta e sete túnicas sacerdotais.	72 And that which the rest of the people gave, was twenty thousand drama of gold, and two thousand pounds of silver, and sixty-seven garments for priests.
73 Foi assim que os sacerdotes e levitas, os cantores, os porteiros, as pessoas do povo, os natineus e todos os israelitas estabeleceram-se em suas respectivas cidades.	73 And the priests, and the Levites, and the porters, and the singing men, and the rest of the common people, and the Nathinites, and all Israel dwelt in their cities.
