1 Al maestro di coro. Al suono del flauto. Di Davide.	1 [For the choirmaster For flutes Psalm Of David] Give ear to my words, Yahweh, spare a thought for mysighing.
2 Le mie parole ascolta, o Signore; comprendi il mio gemito.	2 Listen to my cry for help, my King and my God! To you I pray,
3 Sii attento al grido della mia implorazione, mio re e mio Dio! Poiché a te, o Signore, rivolgo la mia preghiera.	3 Yahweh. At daybreak you hear my voice; at daybreak I lay my case before you and fix my eyes on you.
4 Al mattino, quando odi la mia voce, al mattino espongo il mio caso e attendo.	4 You are not a God who takes pleasure in evil, no sinner can be your guest.
5 Sì, tu non sei un Dio che si compiace del male; nessun malvagio può farsi tuo ospite;	5 Boasters cannot stand their ground under your gaze. You hate evil-doers,
6 non possono presentarsi i superbi davanti ai tuoi occhi; tutti hai in odio gli operatori d'iniquità.	6 liars you destroy; the violent and deceitful Yahweh detests.
7 Tu mandi in rovina quelli che dicono menzogne. L'uomo di sangue e di frode l'avversa il Signore.	7 But, so great is your faithful love, I may come into your house, and before your holy temple bow down inreverence of you.
8 Ma io, nella tua grande misericordia, posso entrare nella tua casa e prostrarmi verso il santo tuo tempio, nel tuo timore.	8 In your saving justice, Yahweh, lead me, because of those who lie in wait for me; make your way plainbefore me.
9 Conducimi, o Signore, nella tua giustizia contro quelli che mi tendono insidie; appiana davanti a me la tua via.	9 Not a word from their lips can be trusted, through and through they are destruction, their throats arewide -- open graves, their tongues seductive.
10 Sì, non c'è fermezza nella loro bocca: un baratro è il loro interno; sepolcro aperto è la loro gola; seminano rovina con le loro lingue.	10 Lay the guilt on them, God, make their intrigues their own downfal ; for their countless offences, thrustthem from you, since they have rebel ed against you.
11 Falli perire, o Dio; rimangano delusi dai loro consigli; per i loro crimini senza numero disperdili, perché contro di te si sono ribellati.	11 But joy for al who take refuge in you, endless songs of gladness! You shelter them, they rejoice inyou, those who love your name.
12 Ma gioiscano quanti in te si rifugiano; eterna sia la loro esultanza; e tu proteggili, affinché si allietino in te quanti amano il tuo nome.	12 It is you who bless the upright, Yahweh, you surround them with favour as with a shield.
13 Sì, tu benedici il giusto, o Signore; come uno scudo, di grazia lo circondi.
