Ephesians 6

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is just.	1 Dzieci, bądźcie posłuszne w Panu waszym rodzicom, bo to jest sprawiedliwe.
2 Honor your father and your mother. This is the first commandment with a promise:	2 Czcij ojca twego i matkę - jest to pierwsze przykazanie z obietnicą -
3 so that it may be well with you, and so that you may have a long life upon the earth.	3 aby ci było dobrze i abyś był długowieczny na ziemi.
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but educate them with the discipline and correction of the Lord.	4 A [wy], ojcowie, nie pobudzajcie do gniewu waszych dzieci, lecz wychowujcie je stosując karcenie i napominanie Pańskie!
5 Servants, be obedient to your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ.	5 Niewolnicy, ze czcią i bojaźnią w prostocie serca bądźcie posłuszni waszym doczesnym panom, jak Chrystusowi,
6 Do not serve only when seen, as if to please men, but act as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.	6 nie służąc tylko dla oka, by ludziom się podobać, lecz jako niewolnicy Chrystusa, który z duszy pełnią wolę Bożą.
7 Serve with good will, as to the Lord, and not to men.	7 Z ochotą służcie, jak gdybyście [służyli] Panu, a nie ludziom,
8 For you know that whatever good each one will do, the same will he receive from the Lord, whether he is servant or free.	8 świadomi tego, że każdy - jeśli uczyni co dobrego, otrzyma to z powrotem od Pana - czy to niewolnik, czy wolny.
9 And you, lords, act similarly toward them, setting aside threats, knowing that the Lord of both you and them is in heaven. For with him there is no favoritism toward anyone.	9 A wy, panowie, tak samo wobec nich postępujcie: zaniechajcie groźby, świadomi tego, że w niebie jest Pan zarówno ich, jak wasz, a u Niego nie ma względu na osoby.
10 Concerning the rest, brothers, be strengthened in the Lord, by the power of his virtue.	10 W końcu bądźcie mocni w Panu - siłą Jego potęgi.
11 Be clothed in the armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the treachery of the devil.	11 Obleczcie pełną zbroję Bożą, byście mogli się ostać wobec podstępnych zakusów diabła.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the directors of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places.	12 Nie toczymy bowiem walki przeciw krwi i ciału, lecz przeciw Zwierzchnościom, przeciw Władzom, przeciw rządcom świata tych ciemności, przeciw pierwiastkom duchowym zła na wyżynach niebieskich.
13 Because of this, take up the armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand the evil day and remain perfect in all things.	13 Dlatego weźcie na siebie pełną zbroję Bożą, abyście w dzień zły zdołali się przeciwstawić i ostać, zwalczywszy wszystko.
14 Therefore, stand firm, having been girded about your waist with truth, and having been clothed with the breastplate of justice,	14 Stańcie więc [do walki] przepasawszy biodra wasze prawdą i oblókłszy pancerz, którym jest sprawiedliwość,
15 and having feet which have been shod by the preparation of the Gospel of peace.	15 a obuwszy nogi w gotowość [głoszenia] dobrej nowiny o pokoju.
16 In all things, take up the shield of faith, with which you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.	16 W każdym położeniu bierzcie wiarę jako tarczę, dzięki której zdołacie zgasić wszystkie rozżarzone pociski Złego.
17 And take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God).	17 Weźcie też hełm zbawienia i miecz Ducha, to jest słowo Boże -
18 Through every kind of prayer and supplication, pray at all times in spirit, and so be vigilant with every kind of earnest supplication, for all the saints,	18 wśród wszelakiej modlitwy i błagania. Przy każdej sposobności módlcie się w Duchu! Nad tym właśnie czuwajcie z całą usilnością i proście za wszystkich świętych
19 and also for me, so that words may be given to me, as I open my mouth with faith to make known the mystery of the Gospel,	19 i za mnie, aby dane mi było słowo, gdy usta moje otworzę, dla jawnego i swobodnego głoszenia tajemnicy Ewangelii,
20 in such a manner that I may dare to speak exactly as I ought to speak. For I act as an ambassador in chains for the Gospel.	20 dla której sprawuję poselstwo jako więzień, ażebym jawnie ją wypowiedział, tak jak winienem.
21 Now, so that you also may know the things that concern me and what I am doing, Tychicus, a most beloved brother and a faithful minister in the Lord, will make known everything to you.	21 Żebyście zaś wiedzieli i wy o moich sprawach, co robię, wszystko wam oznajmi Tychik, umiłowany brat i wierny sługa w Panu,
22 I have sent him to you for this very reason, so that you may know the things that concern us, and so that he may console your hearts.	22 którego wysłałem do was po to, żebyście wy poznali nasze sprawy, a on pokrzepił wasze serca.
23 Peace to the brothers, and charity with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.	23 Pokój braciom i miłość wraz z wiarą od Boga Ojca i Pana naszego Jezusa Chrystusa.
24 May grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ, unto incorruption. Amen.	24 Łaska [niech będzie] ze wszystkimi, którzy miłują Pana naszego Jezusa Chrystusa w nieskazitelności.
