Ephesians 6

1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is just.	1 Τα τεκνα, υπακουετε εις τους γονεις σας εν Κυριω? διοτι τουτο ειναι δικαιον.
2 Honor your father and your mother. This is the first commandment with a promise:	2 Τιμα τον πατερα σου και την μητερα, ητις ειναι εντολη πρωτη με επαγγελιαν,
3 so that it may be well with you, and so that you may have a long life upon the earth.	3 δια να γεινη εις σε καλον και να ησαι μακροχρονιος επι της γης.
4 And you, fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but educate them with the discipline and correction of the Lord.	4 Και οι πατερες, μη παροργιζετε τα τεκνα σας, αλλ' εκτρεφετε αυτα εν παιδεια Κυριου.
5 Servants, be obedient to your lords according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in the simplicity of your heart, as to Christ.	5 Οι δουλοι, υπακουετε εις τους κατα σαρκα κυριους σας μετα φοβου και τρομου εν απλοτητι της καρδιας σας ως εις τον Χριστον,
6 Do not serve only when seen, as if to please men, but act as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart.	6 μη κατ' οφθαλμοδουλειαν ως ανθρωπαρεσκοι, αλλ' ως δουλοι του Χριστου, εκπληρουντες το θελημα του Θεου εκ ψυχης,
7 Serve with good will, as to the Lord, and not to men.	7 μετ' ευνοιας δουλευοντες εις τον Κυριον και ουχι εις ανθρωπους,
8 For you know that whatever good each one will do, the same will he receive from the Lord, whether he is servant or free.	8 εξευροντες οτι εκαστος ο, τι καλον πραξη, τουτο θελει λαβει παρα του Κυριου, ειτε δουλος ειτε ελευθερος.
9 And you, lords, act similarly toward them, setting aside threats, knowing that the Lord of both you and them is in heaven. For with him there is no favoritism toward anyone.	9 Και οι κυριοι, τα αυτα πραττετε προς αυτους, αφινοντες την απειλην, εξευροντες οτι και σεις αυτοι εχετε Κυριον εν ουρανοις, και προσωποληψια δεν υπαρχει παρ' αυτω.
10 Concerning the rest, brothers, be strengthened in the Lord, by the power of his virtue.	10 Το λοιπον, αδελφοι μου, ενδυναμουσθε εν Κυριω και εν τω κρατει της ισχυος αυτου.
11 Be clothed in the armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the treachery of the devil.	11 Ενδυθητε την πανοπλιαν του Θεου, δια να δυνηθητε να σταθητε εναντιον εις τας μεθοδειας του διαβολου?
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers, against the directors of this world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in high places.	12 διοτι δεν ειναι η παλη ημων εναντιον εις αιμα και σαρκα, αλλ' εναντιον εις τας αρχας, εναντιον εις τας εξουσιας, εναντιον εις τους κοσμοκρατορας του σκοτους του αιωνος τουτου? εναντιον εις τα πνευματα της πονηριας εν τοις επουρανιοις.
13 Because of this, take up the armor of God, so that you may be able to withstand the evil day and remain perfect in all things.	13 Δια τουτο αναλαβετε την πανοπλιαν του Θεου, δια να δυνηθητε να αντισταθητε εν τη ημερα τη πονηρα και αφου καταπολεμησητε τα παντα, να σταθητε.
14 Therefore, stand firm, having been girded about your waist with truth, and having been clothed with the breastplate of justice,	14 Σταθητε λοιπον περιεζωσμενοι την οσφυν σας με αληθειαν και ενδεδυμενοι τον θωρακα της δικαιοσυνης
15 and having feet which have been shod by the preparation of the Gospel of peace.	15 και εχοντες υποδεδημενους τους ποδας με την ετοιμασιαν του ευαγγελιου της ειρηνης?
16 In all things, take up the shield of faith, with which you may be able to extinguish all the fiery darts of the most wicked one.	16 επι πασι δε αναλαβετε την ασπιδα της πιστεως, δια της οποιας θελετε δυνηθη να σβεσητε παντα τα βελη του πονηρου τα πεπυρωμενα?
17 And take up the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit (which is the Word of God).	17 και λαβετε την περικεφαλαιαν της σωτηριας και την μαχαιραν του Πνευματος, ητις ειναι ο λογος του Θεου,
18 Through every kind of prayer and supplication, pray at all times in spirit, and so be vigilant with every kind of earnest supplication, for all the saints,	18 προσευχομενοι εν παντι καιρω μετα πασης προσευχης και δεησεως δια του Πνευματος, και εις αυτο τουτο αγρυπνουντες με πασαν προσκαρτερησιν και δεησιν υπερ παντων των αγιων,
19 and also for me, so that words may be given to me, as I open my mouth with faith to make known the mystery of the Gospel,	19 και υπερ εμου, δια να δοθη εις εμε λογος να ανοιξω το στομα μου μετα παρρησιας, δια να καμω γνωστον το μυστηριον του ευαγγελιου,
20 in such a manner that I may dare to speak exactly as I ought to speak. For I act as an ambassador in chains for the Gospel.	20 υπερ του οποιου ειμαι πρεσβυς, φορων αλυσιν, δια να λαλησω περι αυτου μετα παρρησιας καθως πρεπει να λαλησω.
21 Now, so that you also may know the things that concern me and what I am doing, Tychicus, a most beloved brother and a faithful minister in the Lord, will make known everything to you.	21 Αλλα δια να εξευρητε και σεις τα κατ' εμε, τι καμνω, τα παντα θελει σας φανερωσει ο Τυχικος ο αγαπητος αδελφος και πιστος διακονος εν Κυριω,
22 I have sent him to you for this very reason, so that you may know the things that concern us, and so that he may console your hearts.	22 τον οποιον επεμψα προς εσας δι' αυτο τουτο, δια να μαθητε τα περι ημων και να παρηγορηση τας καρδιας σας.
23 Peace to the brothers, and charity with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.	23 Ειρηνη εις τους αδελφους και αγαπη μετα πιστεως απο Θεου Πατρος και Κυριου Ιησου Χριστου.
24 May grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ, unto incorruption. Amen.	24 Η χαρις ειη μετα παντων των αγαπωντων τον Κυριον ημων Ιησουν Χριστον εν καθαροτητι? αμην.
