2 O Lord, our Lord, how admirable is your name throughout all the earth! For your magnificence is elevated above the heavens.	2 O Signore, Signore nostro,quanto è mirabile il tuo nome su tutta la terra!Voglio innalzare sopra i cieli la tua magnificenza,
3 Out of the mouths of babes and infants, you have perfected praise, because of your enemies, so that you may destroy the enemy and the revenger.	3 con la bocca di bambini e di lattanti:hai posto una difesa contro i tuoi avversari,per ridurre al silenzio nemici e ribelli.
4 For I will behold your heavens, the works of your fingers: the moon and the stars, which you have founded.	4 Quando vedo i tuoi cieli, opera delle tue dita,la luna e le stelle che tu hai fissato,
5 What is man, that you are mindful of him, or the son of man, that you visit him?	5 che cosa è mai l’uomo perché di lui ti ricordi,il figlio dell’uomo, perché te ne curi?
6 You reduced him to a little less than the Angels; you have crowned him with glory and honor,	6 Davvero l’hai fatto poco meno di un dio,di gloria e di onore lo hai coronato.
7 and you have set him over the works of your hands.	7 Gli hai dato potere sulle opere delle tue mani,tutto hai posto sotto i suoi piedi:
8 You have subjected all things under his feet, all sheep and oxen, and in addition: the beasts of the field,	8 tutte le greggi e gli armentie anche le bestie della campagna,
9 the birds of the air, and the fish of the sea, which pass through the paths of the sea.	9 gli uccelli del cielo e i pesci del mare,ogni essere che percorre le vie dei mari.
10 O Lord, our Lord, how admirable is your name throughout all the earth!	10 O Signore, Signore nostro,quanto è mirabile il tuo nome su tutta la terra!
