2 even through the mouths of children, or of babes in arms, you make him a fortress, firm against yourfoes, to subdue the enemy and the rebel.	2 Senhor, Senhor nosso, quão admirável é o teu nome em toda a terra, tu que elevaste a tua majestade acima dos céus.
3 I look up at your heavens, shaped by your fingers, at the moon and the stars you set firm-	3 Da boca das crianças e meninos de peito fizeste sair louvor contra os teus adversários, para reprimir o inimigo e o agressor.
4 what are human beings that you spare a thought for them, or the child of Adam that you care for him?	4 Quando contemplo os teus céus, obra dos teus dedos, a lua e as estrelas, que tu criaste,
5 Yet you have made him little less than a god, you have crowned him with glory and beauty,	5 (exclamo): Que é o homem, para te lembrares dele? ou que é o filho do homem, para cuidares dele?
6 made him lord of the works of your hands, put al things under his feet,	6 Tu o fizeste pouco inferior aos anjos, de glória e de honra o coroaste;
7 sheep and cattle, all of them, and even the wild beasts,	7 deste-lhe o mando sobre as obras das tuas mãos, sujeitaste todas as coisas debaixo de seus pés:
8 birds in the sky, fish in the sea, when he makes his way across the ocean.	8 Todas as ovelhas e todos os bois e, além destes, os outros animais do campo,
9 Yahweh our Lord, how majestic your name throughout the world!	9 as aves do céu e os peixes do mar: tudo o que percorre as veredas dos oceanos.
	10 Senhor, Senhor nosso, quão admirável é o teu nome em toda a terra!
