1 Give thanks to the LORD, who is good, whose love endures forever.	1 CELEBRATE il Signore; perciocchè egli è buono, Perciocchè la sua benignità è in eterno.
2 Let the house of Israel say: God's love endures forever.	2 Or dica Israele, Che la sua benignità è in eterno.
3 Let the house of Aaron say, God's love endures forever.	3 Or dica la casa d’Aaronne, Che la sua benignità è in eterno.
4 Let those who fear the LORD say, God's love endures forever.	4 Or dicano quelli che temono il Signore, Che la sua benignità è in eterno.
5 In danger I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free.	5 Essendo in distretta, io invocai il Signore; E il Signore mi rispose, e mi mise al largo.
6 The LORD is with me; I am not afraid; what can mortals do against me?	6 Il Signore è per me; io non temerò Ciò che mi possa far l’uomo.
7 The LORD is with me as my helper; I shall look in triumph on my foes.	7 Il Signore è per me, fra quelli che mi soccorrono; E però io vedrò ciò che io desidero ne’ miei nemici.
8 Better to take refuge in the LORD than to put one's trust in mortals.	8 Meglio è sperar nel Signore, Che confidarsi negli uomini.
9 Better to take refuge in the LORD than to put one's trust in princes.	9 Meglio è sperar nel Signore, Che confidarsi ne’ principi.
10 All the nations surrounded me; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.	10 Nazioni d’ogni parte mi avevano intorniato; Nel nome del Signore è avvenuto che io le ho sconfitte.
11 They surrounded me on every side; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.	11 Mi avevano circondato, ed anche accerchiao; Nel Nome del Signore è avvenuto che io le ho sconfitte.
12 They surrounded me like bees; they blazed like fire among thorns; in the LORD'S name I crushed them.	12 Mi avevano intorniato come api; Ma sono state spente come fuoco di spine; Nel Nome del Signore è avvenuto che io le ho sconfitte.
13 I was hard pressed and falling, but the LORD came to my help.	13 Tu mi avevi fieramente sospinto, o nemico, per farmi cadere; Ma il Signore mi ha soccorso.
14 The LORD, my strength and might, came to me as savior.	14 Il Signore è la mia forza, ed il mio cantico; E mi è stato in salute.
15 The joyful shout of deliverance is heard in the tents of the victors: "The LORD'S right hand strikes with power;	15 Voce di giubilo e di vittoria è ne’ tabernacoli de’ giusti; La destra del Signore fa prodezze.

17 I shall not die but live and declare the deeds of the LORD.	17 Io non morrò, anzi viverò, E racconterò le opere del Signore.
18 The LORD chastised me harshly, but did not hand me over to death.	18 Il Signore veramente mi ha gastigato; Ma non mi ha dato alla morte
19 Open the gates of victory; I will enter and thank the LORD.	19 Apritemi le porte di giustizia; Io entrerò per esse, e celebrerò il Signore.
20 This is the LORD'S own gate, where the victors enter.	20 Questa è la porta del Signore, I giusti entreranno per essa.
21 I thank you for you answered me; you have been my savior.	21 Io ti celebrerò; perciocchè tu mi hai risposto, E mi sei stato in salute.
22 The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.	22 La pietra che gli edificatori avevano rigettata, E stata posta in capo del cantone.
23 By the LORD has this been done; it is wonderful in our eyes.	23 Questo è proceduto dal Signore; Ed è cosa maravigliosa davanti agli occhi nostri.
24 This is the day the LORD has made; let us rejoice in it and be glad.	24 Questo è il giorno che il Signore ha operato: Festeggiamo, e rallegriamoci in esso.
25 LORD, grant salvation! LORD, grant good fortune!	25 Deh! Signore, ora salva; Deh! Signore, ora prospera.
