1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise ye the name of the LORD; praise him, O ye servants of the LORD.	1 Alleluia.Lodate il nome del Signore,lodatelo, servi del Signore,
2 Ye that stand in the house of the LORD, in the courts of the house of our God,	2 voi che state nella casa del Signore,negli atri della casa del nostro Dio.
3 Praise the LORD; for the LORD is good: sing praises unto his name; for it is pleasant.	3 Lodate il Signore, perché il Signore è buono;cantate inni al suo nome, perché è amabile.
4 For the LORD hath chosen Jacob unto himself, and Israel for his peculiar treasure.	4 Il Signore si è scelto Giacobbe,Israele come sua proprietà.
5 For I know that the LORD is great, and that our Lord is above all gods.	5 Sì, riconosco che il Signore è grande,il Signore nostro più di tutti gli dèi.
6 Whatsoever the LORD pleased, that did he in heaven, and in earth, in the seas, and all deep places.	6 Tutto ciò che vuoleil Signore lo compie in cielo e sulla terra,nei mari e in tutti gli abissi.
7 He causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings for the rain; he bringeth the wind out of his treasuries.	7 Fa salire le nubi dall’estremità della terra,produce le folgori per la pioggia,dalle sue riserve libera il vento.
8 Who smote the firstborn of Egypt, both of man and beast.	8 Egli colpì i primogeniti d’Egitto,dagli uomini fino al bestiame.
9 Who sent tokens and wonders into the midst of thee, O Egypt, upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants.	9 Mandò segni e prodigiin mezzo a te, Egitto,contro il faraone e tutti i suoi ministri.
10 Who smote great nations, and slew mighty kings;	10 Colpì numerose nazionie uccise sovrani potenti:
11 Sihon king of the Amorites, and Og king of Bashan, and all the kingdoms of Canaan:	11 Sicon, re degli Amorrei,Og, re di Basan,e tutti i regni di Canaan.
12 And gave their land for an heritage, an heritage unto Israel his people.	12 Diede in eredità la loro terra,in eredità a Israele suo popolo.
13 Thy name, O LORD, endureth for ever; and thy memorial, O LORD, throughout all generations.	13 Signore, il tuo nome è per sempre;Signore, il tuo ricordo di generazione in generazione.
14 For the LORD will judge his people, and he will repent himself concerning his servants.	14 Sì, il Signore fa giustizia al suo popoloe dei suoi servi ha compassione.
15 The idols of the heathen are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.	15 Gli idoli delle nazioni sono argento e oro,opera delle mani dell’uomo.
16 They have mouths, but they speak not; eyes have they, but they see not;	16 Hanno bocca e non parlano,hanno occhi e non vedono,
17 They have ears, but they hear not; neither is there any breath in their mouths.	17 hanno orecchi e non odono;no, non c’è respiro nella loro bocca.
18 They that make them are like unto them: so is every one that trusteth in them.	18 Diventi come loro chi li fabbricae chiunque in essi confida.
19 Bless the LORD, O house of Israel: bless the LORD, O house of Aaron:	19 Benedici il Signore, casa d’Israele;benedici il Signore, casa di Aronne;
20 Bless the LORD, O house of Levi: ye that fear the LORD, bless the LORD.	20 benedici il Signore, casa di Levi;voi che temete il Signore, benedite il Signore.
21 Blessed be the LORD out of Zion, which dwelleth at Jerusalem. Praise ye the LORD.	21 Da Sion, benedetto il Signore,che abita in Gerusalemme!Alleluia.
