1 Voici les étapes que parcoururent les Israélites lorsqu'ils furent sortis du pays d'Egypte selonleurs unités, sous la conduite de Moïse et d'Aaron.	1 These are the mansions of the children of Israel, who went out of Egypt by their troops under the conduct of Moses and Aaron,
2 Moïse consignait par écrit leurs points de départ quand ils partaient sur l'ordre de Yahvé. Voicileurs étapes par point de départ.	2 Which Moses wrote down according to the places of their encamping, which they changed by the commandment of the Lord.
3 Ils partirent de Ramsès le premier mois. C'est le quinzième jour du premier mois, lendemain de laPâque, que les Israélites partirent la main haute, aux yeux de toute l'Egypte.	3 Now the children of Israel departed from Ramesses the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month, the day after the phase, with a mighty hand, in the eight of all the Egyptians,
4 Les Egyptiens ensevelissaient ceux des leurs que Yahvé avait frappés, tous les premiers-nés;Yahvé avait fait justice de leurs dieux.	4 Who were burying their firstborn, whom the Lord had slain (upon their gods also he had executed vengeance,)
5 Les Israélites partirent de Ramsès et campèrent à Sukkot.	5 And they camped in Soccoth.
6 Puis ils partirent de Sukkot et campèrent à Etam, qui est aux confins du désert.	6 And from Soccoth they came into Etham, which is in the uttermost borders of the wilderness.
7 Ils partirent d'Etam, ils revinrent sur Pi-Hahirot, qui est en face de Baal-Cephôn, et campèrentdevant Migdol.	7 Departing from thence they came over against Phihahiroth, which looketh towards Beelsephon, and they camped before Magdalum.
8 Ils partirent de Pi-Hahirot, ils gagnèrent le désert en passant à travers la mer, et après trois joursde marche dans le désert d'Etam ils campèrent à Mara.	8 And departing from Phihahiroth, they passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and having marched three days through the desert of Etham, they camped in Mara.
9 Ils partirent de Mara et arrivèrent à Elim. A Elim il y a douze sources d'eau et 70 palmiers; ilscampèrent là.	9 And departing from Mara, they came into Elim, where there were twelve fountains of waters, and seventy palm trees: and there they camped.
10 Ils partirent d'Elim et campèrent près de la mer des Roseaux.	10 But departing from thence also, they pitched their tents by the Red Sea. And departing from the Red Sea,
11 Ils partirent de la mer des Roseaux et campèrent dans le désert de Sîn.	11 They camped in the desert of Sin.
12 Ils partirent du désert de Sîn et campèrent à Dophka.	12 And they removed from thence, and came to Daphca.
13 Ils partirent de Dophka et campèrent à Alush.	13 And departing from Daphca, they camped in Alus.
14 Ils partirent d'Alush et campèrent à Rephidim; le peuple n'y trouva point d'eau à boire.	14 And departing from Alus, they pitched their tents in Raphidim, where the people wanted water to drink.
15 Ils partirent de Rephidim et campèrent dans le désert du Sinaï.	15 And departing from Raphidim, they camped in the desert of Sinai.
16 Ils partirent du désert du Sinaï et campèrent à Qibrot-ha-Taava.	16 But departing also from the desert of Sinai, they came to the graves of lust.
17 Ils partirent de Qibrot-ha-Taava et campèrent à Haçérot.	17 And departing from the graves of lust, they camped in Haseroth.
18 Ils partirent de Haçérot et campèrent à Ritma.	18 And from Haseroth they came to Rethma.
19 Ils partirent de Ritma et campèrent à Rimmôn-Pérèç.	19 And departing from Rethma, they camped in Remmomphares.
20 Ils partirent de Rimmôn-Pérèç et campèrent à Libna.	20 And they departed from thence and came to Lebna.
21 Ils partirent de Libna et campèrent à Rissa.	21 Removing from Lebna they camped in Ressa.
22 Ils partirent de Rissa et campèrent à Qehélata.	22 And departing from Ressa, they came to Ceelatha.
23 Ils partirent de Qehélata et campèrent au mont Shéphèr.	23 And they removed from thence and camped in the mountain Sepher.
24 Ils partirent du mont Shéphèr et campèrent à Harada.	24 Departing from the mountain Sepher, they came to Arada.
25 Ils partirent de Harada et campèrent à Maqhélot.	25 From thence they went and camped in Maceloth.
26 Ils partirent de Maqhélot et campèrent à Tahat.	26 And departing from Maceloth, they came to Thahath.
27 Ils partirent de Tahat et campèrent à Térah.	27 Removing from Thahath they camped in Thare.
28 Ils partirent de Térah et campèrent à Mitqa.	28 And they departed from thence, and pitched their tents in Methca.
29 Ils partirent de Mitqa et campèrent à Hashmona.	29 And removing from Methca, they camped in Hesmona.
30 Ils partirent de Hashmona et campèrent à Mosérot.	30 And departing from Hesmona, they came to Moseroth.
31 Ils partirent de Mosérot et campèrent à Bené-Yaaqân.	31 And removing from Moseroth, they camped in Benejaacan.
32 Ils partirent de Bené-Yaaqân et campèrent à Hor-Gidgad.	32 And departing from Benejaacan, they came to mount Gadgad.
33 Ils partirent de Hor-Gidgad et campèrent à Yotbata.	33 From thence they went and camped in Jetebatha.
34 Ils partirent de Yotbata et campèrent à Abrona.	34 And from Jetebatha they came to Hebrona.
35 Ils partirent de Abrona et campèrent à Eçyôn-Gébèr.	35 And departing from Hebrona, they camped in Asiongaber.
36 Ils partirent de Eçyôn-Gébèr et campèrent dans le désert de Cîn; c'est Cadès.	36 They removed from thence and came into the desert of Sin, which is Cades.
37 Ils partirent de Cadès et campèrent à Hor-la-Montagne, aux confins du pays d'Edom.	37 And departing from Cades, they camped in mount Her, in the uttermost borders of the land of Edom.
38 Aaron, le prêtre, monta à Hor-la-Montagne sur l'ordre de Yahvé et c'est là qu'il mourut, dans laquarantième année de l'exode des Israélites hors du pays d'Egypte, au cinquième mois, le premier du mois.	38 And Aaron the priest went up into mount Hor at the commandment of the Lord: and there he died in the fortieth year of the coming forth of the children of Israel out of Egypt, W the fifth month, the first day of the month,
39 Aaron avait 123 ans lorsqu'il mourut à Hor-la-Montagne.	39 When he was a hundred and twenty-three years old.
40 Le roi d'Arad, un Cananéen qui habitait le Négeb au pays de Canaan, fut informé lors del'arrivée des Israélites.	40 And king Arad the Chanaanite, who dwelt towards the south, heard that the children of Israel were come to the land of Chanaan.
41 Ils partirent de Hor-la-Montagne et campèrent à Calmona.	41 And they departed from mount Her, and camped in Salmona.
42 Ils partirent de Calmona et campèrent à Punôn.	42 From whence they removed and came to Phunon.
43 Ils partirent de Punôn et campèrent à Obot.	43 And departing from Phunon, they camped in Oboth.
44 Ils partirent de Obot et campèrent sur le territoire de Moab à Iyyé-ha-Abarim.	44 And from Oboth they came to Ijeabarim, which is in the borders of the Moabites.
45 Ils partirent de Iyyim et campèrent à Dibôn-Gad.	45 And departing from Ijeabarim they pitched their tents in Dibongab.
46 Ils partirent de Dibôn-Gad et campèrent à Almôn-Diblatayim.	46 From thence they went and camped in Helmondeblathaim.
47 Ils partirent de Almôn-Diblatayim et campèrent aux monts Abarim en face de Nebo.	47 And departing from Helmondeblathaim, they came to the mountains of Abarim over against Nabo.
48 Ils partirent des monts Abarim et campèrent aux Steppes de Moab, près du Jourdain versJéricho.	48 And departing from the mountains of Abarim, they passed to the plains of Moab, by the Jordan, over against Jericho.
49 Ils campèrent près du Jourdain entre Bet-ha-Yeshimot et Abel-ha-Shittim, dans les Steppes deMoab.	49 And there they camped from Bethsi moth even to Ablesatim in the plains of the Moabites,
50 Yahvé parla à Moïse, dans les Steppes de Moab, près du Jourdain vers Jéricho. Il dit:	50 Where the Lord said to Moses:
51 "Parle aux Israélites; tu leur diras: Quand vous aurez passé le Jourdain vers le pays de Canaan,	51 Command the children of Israel, and say to them: When you shall have passed over the Jordan, entering into the land of Chanaan,
52 vous chasserez devant vous tous les habitants du pays. Vous détruirez leurs images peintes,vous détruirez toutes leurs statues de métal fondu et vous saccagerez tous leurs hauts lieux.	52 Destroy all the inhabitants of that land: beat down their pillars, and break in pieces their statues, and waste all their high places,
53 Vous posséderez ce pays et vous y demeurerez, car je vous ai donné ce pays pour domaine.	53 Cleansing the land, and dwelling in it. For I have given it you for a possession.
54 Vous le partagerez au sort entre vos clans. A celui qui est nombreux vous ferez une plus grandepart d'héritage, à celui qui est moins nombreux vous ferez une plus petite part d'héritage. Là où le sort tomberapour chacun, là sera son domaine. Vous ferez le partage dans vos tribus.	54 And you shall divide it among you by lot. To the more you shall give a larger part, and to the fewer a lesser. To every one as the lot shall fall, so shall the inheritance be given. The possession shall be divided by the tribes and the families.
55 Mais si vous ne chassez pas devant vous les habitants du pays, ceux d'entre eux que vous aurezlaissés deviendront des épines dans vos yeux et des chardons dans vos flancs, ils vous presseront dans le paysque vous habiterez	55 But if you will not kill the inhabitants of the land: they that remain, shall be unto you as nails in your eyes, and spears in your sides, and they shall be your adversaries in the land of your habitation.
56 et je vous traiterai comme j'avais pensé les traiter."	56 And whatsoever I had thought to do to them, I will do to you.
