EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Mictán de David. Protégeme, Dios mío, porque me refugio en ti.	1 [In a quiet voice Of David] Protect me, O God, in you is my refuge.
2 Yo digo al Señor: «Señor, tú eres mi bien, no hay nada superior a ti».	2 To Yahweh I say, 'You are my Lord, my happiness is in none
3 Ellos, en cambio, dicen a los dioses de la tierra: «Mis príncipes, ustedes son toda mi alegría».	3 of the sacred spirits of the earth.' They only take advantage of al who love them.
4 Multiplican sus ídolos y corren tras ellos, pero yo no les ofreceré libaciones de sangre, ni mis labios pronunciarán sus nombres.	4 People flock to their teeming idols. Never shal I pour libations to them! Never take their names on mylips.
5 El Señor es la parte de mi herencia y mi cáliz, ¡tú decides mi suerte!	5 My birthright, my cup is Yahweh; you, you alone, hold my lot secure.
6 Me ha tocado un lugar de delicias, estoy contento con mi herencia.	6 The measuring-line marks out for me a delightful place, my birthright is al I could wish.
7 Bendeciré al Señor que me aconseja, ¡hasta de noche me instruye mi conciencia!	7 I bless Yahweh who is my counsel or, even at night my heart instructs me.
8 Tengo siempre presente al Señor: él está a mi lado, nunca vacilaré.	8 I keep Yahweh before me always, for with him at my right hand, nothing can shake me.
9 Por eso mi corazón se alegra, se regocijan mis entrañas y todo mi ser descansa seguro:	9 So my heart rejoices, my soul delights, my body too wil rest secure,
10 porque no me entregarás la Muerte ni dejarás que tu amigo vea el sepulcro.	10 for you wil not abandon me to Sheol, you cannot al ow your faithful servant to see the abyss.
11 Me harás conocer el camino de la vida, saciándome de gozo en tu presencia, de felicidad eterna a tu derecha.	11 You wil teach me the path of life, unbounded joy in your presence, at your right hand delight for ever.
