| 1 Manda também vir junto de ti Aarão teu irmão, com seus filhos, do meio dos filhos de Israel, para que exerçam diante de mim as funções do sacerdócio: Aarão, Nadab e Abiu, Eteazar e Itamar. | 1 “Also, join to yourself your brother Aaron, with his sons from the midst of the sons of Israel, so that they may exercise the priesthood for me: Aaron, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar. |
| 2 Farás uma veste sagrada para Aarão, teu irmão, para (indicar a sua) dignidade e para (lhe servir de) adorno. | 2 And you shall make a holy vestment for Aaron, your brother, with glory and elegance. |
| 3 Falarás a todos os sábios de coração, a quem eu enchi do espírito de prudência, para que façam as vestes de Aarão, com as quais, sendo santificado, exercerá o meu sacerdócio. | 3 And you shall speak to all the wise of heart, whom I have filled with the spirit of prudence, so that they may make the vestments of Aaron, in which, having been sanctified, he may minister to me. |
| 4 Estas são as vestes que hão-de fazer: O peitoral e o éfode, o manto e a túnica de linho estreita, a tiara e o cíngulo. Farão estas vestes sagradas para Aarão, teu irmão, e para seus filhos, para que exerçam as funções do meu sacerdócio. | 4 Now these shall be the vestments that they shall make: A breastplate and an ephod, a tunic and a close-fit linen garment, a headdress and a wide belt. They shall make the holy vestments for your brother Aaron and his sons, so that they may exercise the priesthood for me. |
| 5 Tomarão outo, púrpura violácea, púrpura escarlate e carmesim, e linho finta. | 5 And they shall receive gold, and hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine linen. |
| 6 Farão o éfode de ouro, de púrpura violácea, púrpura escarlate e carmesim, e de linho fino retorcido, artisticamente entretecidos. | 6 Then they shall make the ephod of gold, and hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine twisted linen, wrought with diverse colors. |
| 7 (O éfode) terá nos dois lados das suas extremidades duas aberturas unidas de modo a formarem um (só vestido). | 7 It shall have two edges joined at the top on both sides, so that they may respond as one. |
| 8 O cíngulo que atará o éfode, fará com ele uma só peça e será do mesmo trabalho: de ouro, de púrpura violácea, escarlate, carmesim e linho fino retorcido | 8 Likewise, the weaving and all the detail work shall be of gold, and hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine twisted linen. |
| 9 E tomarás duas pedras de ónix, e gravarás nelas os nomes dos filhos de Israel: | 9 And you shall take two onyx stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel: |
| 10 Seis nomes numa pedra, e outros seis na outra, segundo a ordem do seu nascimento. | 10 six names on one stone, and the remaining six on the other, according to the order of their birth. |
| 11 Com obra de escultor e de lapidário gravarás nelas os nomes dos filhos de Israel, tendo-as engastado e metido em ouro; | 11 By the work of a sculptor and the skill of a jeweler, you shall engrave them with the names of the sons of Israel, enclosed and encompassed with gold. |
| 12 pô-las-ás sobre um e outro lado do éfode, (para que sirvam) de memória aos filhos de Israel. Aarão levará os seus nomes diante do Senhor sobre os seus dois ombros para lembrança. | 12 And you shall place them on both sides of the ephod, as a memorial to the sons of Israel. And Aaron shall carry their names before the Lord, upon both shoulders, as a remembrance. |
| 13 Farás também ganchos de ouro, | 13 You shall also make hooks of gold, |
| 14 e duas pequenas cadeias de ouro puríssimo ligadas entre si, as quais meterás nos ganchos. | 14 and two little chains of the purest gold, linked to one another, which you shall insert into the hooks. |
| 15 Farás também o peitoral do juízo com trabalho a muitas cores, tecidos, como o éfode, de ouro, de jacinto, e de púrpura, e de escarlate tinto duas vezes, e de linho fino retorcido. | 15 Likewise, you shall make the breastplate of judgment, wrought with diverse colors according to weaving of the ephod: of gold, hyacinth and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, and fine twisted linen. |
| 16 Será quadrado e dobrado; terá um palmo, tanto de comprimento como de largura. | 16 It shall have four corners and be doubled. It shall have the measure of the palm of a hand, both in length and in width. |
| 17 Engastarás nele quatro ordens de pedras; na primeira ordem estará um sardio, um topázio e uma esmeralda; | 17 And you shall set within it four rows of stones. In the first row, there shall be a sardius stone, and a topaz, and an emerald. |
| 18 o a segunda, um carbúnculo, uma safira e um jaspe; | 18 In the second, there shall be a garnet, a sapphire, and a jasper. |
| 19 na terceira uma turqueza, uma ágata e uma ametista; | 19 In the third, there shall be a zircon, an agate, and an amethyst. |
| 20 na quarta um crisólito, um ónix e um berilo. Elas serão encastoadas em ouro, ordem por ordem. | 20 In the fourth, there shall be a chrysolite, an onyx, and a beryl. They shall be set in gold by their rows. |
| 21 Terão os nomes dos filhos de Israel: estarão nelas gravados doze nomes, em cada pedra o nome de uma das doze tribos. | 21 And these shall have the names of the sons of Israel. With twelve names shall they be engraved: each stone with one name from the twelve tribes. |
| 22 Farás para o peitoral pequenas cadeias de ouro puríssimo, que se unam entre si, | 22 You shall make chains of the purest gold, linked one to another, on the breastplate, |
| 23 e duas argolinhas de ouro, que porás nas duas extremidades superiores do peitoral. | 23 and two rings of gold, which you shall place at both ends of the breastplate. |
| 24 Farás passar cadeias de ouro pelas argolinhas, que estão nas extremidades dele, | 24 And the golden chains, you shall join to the rings, which are at its edges. |
| 25 e adaptarás as extremidades das mesmas cadeias a dois ganchos dum e doutro lado do éfode, que corresponde ao peitoral. | 25 And the ends of the chains themselves, you shall couple with two hooks, on both sides of the ephod, which looks toward the breastplate. |
| 26 Farás também duas argolinhas de ouro, que porás nas extremidades (inferiores) do peitoral, nas ourelas que estão de fronte do éfode, e estão voltadas para a parte de trás. | 26 You shall also make two rings of gold, which you shall place at the ends of the breastplate, at the borders which are away from the region of the ephod and which look toward its back. |
| 27 (Farás), além disso, outras duas argolinhas de ouro, que se hão-de pôr em baixo, aos dois lados do éfode, que estão diante da juntura inferior, a fim de que (o peitoral) possa adaptar-se ao éfode, | 27 And then you shall also make two other rings of gold, which are to be suspended on both sides at the bottom of the ephod, which looks out opposite the face of the lower juncture, so that the breastplate can be fitted to the ephod. |
| 28 esteja ligado com as suas argolinhas às do éfode, por uma fita (cor) de jacinto, de modo que fique firme o enlace feito com arte, e o peitoral e o éfode, não possam separar-se um do outro. | 28 And it shall be drawn tight to the rings of the breastplate, by the rings of the ephod, with a hyacinth band, so that the well-constructed juncture will remain in place, and the breastplate and the ephod will not be able to be separated from one another. |
| 29 Aarão, quando entrar no santuário, levará os nomes dos filhos de Israel do peitoral do juízo sobre o peso, para perpétua memória diante do Senhor. | 29 And Aaron shall carry the names of the sons of Israel on the breastplate of judgment upon his chest, when he enters into the Sanctuary, as a memorial in the presence of the Lord in eternity. |
| 30 No peitoral do juízo porás (estas duas palavras): Doutrina e Verdade, as quais estarão sobre o peito de Aarão, quando ele entrar à presença do Senhor; assim trará sempre sobre o seu peito o juízo dos filhos de Israel na presença do Senhor. | 30 Then you shall place in the breastplate of judgment, Doctrine and Truth, which shall then be upon Aaron’s chest, when he enters before the Lord. And he shall wear the judgment of the sons of Israel on his chest, in the sight of the Lord always. |
| 31 Farás também a túnica do éfode toda (de cor) de jacinto, | 31 And you shall make the tunic for the ephod entirely of hyacinth, |
| 32 no meio da qual no alto haverá uma abertura para a cabeça, e em volta uma orla tecida, como se costuma fazer na ourela dos vestidos, para que (a túnica) se não rompa facilmente. | 32 and the head will be above its middle, with a hem woven around it, just as is usually made at the end parts of a garment, so that it may not be easily broken. |
| 33 Em baixo, porém, na extremidade inferior da mesma túnica, farás ao redor umas como romãs de púrpura violácea, púrpura escarlate e carmesim, (tendo) misturadas pelo meio campainhas, | 33 Yet truly, beneath it, at the base of the same tunic, all around, you shall make something like pomegranates, from hyacinth, and purple, and twice-dyed scarlet, with little bells set in their midst. |
| 34 de sorte que haja uma campainha de ouro e uma romã, e logo outra campainha de ouro e outra romã. | 34 So then, there shall be a little golden bell and a pomegranate, and again another golden bell and a pomegranate. |
| 35 Aarão a vestirá nas funções do seu ministério, para que se ouça o som ao entrar no santuário, à presença do Senhor, e ao sair, e para que não morra. | 35 And Aaron will be vested with it during the office of his ministry, so that the sound may be heard when he enters and exits the Sanctuary, in the sight of the Lord, and so that he may not die. |
| 36 Farás também uma lâmina de ouro puríssimo, na qual farás abrir por mão de gravador: Santidade ao Senhor. | 36 And you shall make a plate of the purest gold, in which you shall engrave, with the skill of a sculptor, ‘Holy to the Lord.’ |
| 37 Atá-la-ás com uma fita de púrpura violácea, e estará sobre a tiara, dominando a fronte | 37 And you shall fasten it with a band of hyacinth, and it shall be upon the headdress, |
| 38 do pontífice. Aarão levará as iniquidades cometidas pelos filhos de Israel em todas as suas oblações, e nos dons que tiverem oferecido e consagrado. Esta lâmina estará sempre sobre a sua fronte, para que o Senhor lhes seja propício. | 38 hanging in front of the high priest. And Aaron shall carry the iniquities of that which the sons of Israel have offered and sanctified, in all their gifts and donations. But the plate will always be at his forehead, so that the Lord may be well pleased with them. |
| 39 Farás a túnica estreita de linho fino, farás a tiara de linho fino, e o cíngulo será de várias cores. | 39 And you shall draw the tunic tight with fine linen, and you shall make a headdress of fine linen, and a wide belt, wrought with embroidery. |
| 40 Para os filhos de Aarão, prepararás túnicas de linho cíngulos e tiaras, para (indicar a sua) dignidade e (servir-lhes de) adorno; | 40 Furthermore, for the sons of Aaron, you shall prepare linen tunics, and wide belts as well as headdresses, with glory and elegance. |
| 41 de tudo isto vestirás Aarão, teu irmão, e os seus filhos com ele. Sagrarás as mãos de todos, e sacrificá-los-ás, para que me exerçam o sacerdócio. | 41 And with all these you shall vest your brother Aaron, and his sons with him. And you shall consecrate all their hands, and you shall sanctify them, so that they may exercise the priesthood for me. |
| 42 Farás também calções de linho, para cobrirem a nudez da sua carne, desde os rins até às coxas. | 42 You shall also make linen undergarments, in order to cover the flesh of their nakedness, from the kidneys all the way to the thighs. |
| 43 Aarão e seus filhos usarão deles quando entrarem no tabernáculo do testemunho, ou quando se aproximarem do altar para servir no santuário, para que não morram como réus de iniquidade. Isto será uma lei perpétua para Aarão e para a sua posteridade depois dele. | 43 And Aaron and his sons will use them when they enter the tabernacle of the testimony, and when they approach toward the altar, in order to minister in the sanctuary, lest, being guilty of iniquity, they may die. It shall be a law forever for Aaron, and for his offspring after him.” |
