1 Aleluia. Feliz o homem que teme o Senhor, e põe o seu prazer em observar os seus mandamentos.	1 Hallelujah. I will praise the LORD with all my heart in the assembled congregation of the upright.
2 Será poderosa sua descendência na terra, e bendita a raça dos homens retos.	2 Great are the works of the LORD, to be treasured for all their delights.
3 Suntuosa riqueza haverá em sua casa, e para sempre durará sua abundância.	3 Majestic and glorious is your work, your wise design endures forever.
4 Como luz, se eleva, nas trevas, para os retos, o homem benfazejo, misericordioso e justo.	4 You won renown for your wondrous deeds; gracious and merciful is the LORD.
5 Feliz o homem que se compadece e empresta, que regula suas ações pela justiça.	5 You gave food to those who fear you, mindful of your covenant forever.
6 Nada jamais há de abalá-lo: eterna será a memória do justo.	6 You showed powerful deeds to your people, giving them the lands of the nations.
7 Não temerá notícias funestas, porque seu coração está firme e confiante no Senhor.	7 The works of your hands are right and true, reliable all your decrees,
8 Inabalável é seu coração, livre de medo, até que possa ver confundidos os seus adversários.	8 Established forever and ever, to be observed with loyalty and care.
9 Com largueza distribuiu, deu aos pobres; sua liberalidade permanecerá para sempre. Pode levantar a cabeça com altivez.	9 You sent deliverance to your people, ratified your covenant forever; holy and awesome is your name.
10 O pecador, porém, não pode vê-lo sem inveja, range os dentes e definha; anulam-se, assim, os desejos dos maus.	10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; prudent are all who live by it. Your praise endures forever.
