BIBLIA	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Del maestro de coro. Del siervo de Yahveh. De David.	1 [For the choirmaster Of the servant of Yahweh Of David] Sin is the oracle of the wicked in the depthsof his heart; there is no fear of God before his eyes.
2 Un oráculo para el impío es el pecado en el fondo de su corazón; temor de Dios no existe delante de sus ojos.	2 He sees himself with too flattering an eye to detect and detest his guilt;
3 Con ojo harto lisonjero se mira, para encontrar y detestar su culpa;	3 al he says is malicious and deceitful, he has turned his back on wisdom. To get his way

5 Sólo maquina iniquidad sobre su lecho; en un camino que no es bueno se obstina y no reprueba el mal.	5 Yahweh, your faithful love is in the heavens, your constancy reaches to the clouds,
6 Oh Yahveh, en los cielos tu amor, hasta las nubes tu verdad;	6 your saving justice is like towering mountains, your judgements like the mighty deep. Yahweh, yousupport both man and beast;
7 tu justicia, como los montes de Dios, tus juicios, como el hondo abismo. A hombres y bestias salvas tú, Yahveh,	7 how precious, God, is your faithful love. So the children of Adam take refuge in the shadow of yourwings.
8 oh Dios, ¡qué precioso tu amor! Por eso los hijos de Adán, a la sombra de tus alas se cobijan.	8 They feast on the bounty of your house, you let them drink from your delicious streams;
9 Se sacian de la grasa de tu Casa, en el torrente de tus delicias los abrevas;	9 in you is the source of life, by your light we see the light.
10 en ti está la fuente de la vida, y en tu luz vemos la luz.	10 Maintain your faithful love to those who acknowledge you, and your saving justice to the honest ofheart.
11 Guarda tu amor a los que te conocen, y tu justicia a los de recto corazón.	11 Do not let the foot of the arrogant overtake me or wicked hands drive me away.
12 ¡Que el pie del orgullo no me alcance, ni la mano de los impíos me avente!	12 There they have fallen, the evil-doers, flung down, never to rise again.
13 Ved cómo caen los agentes de mal, abatidos, no pueden levantarse.
