1 Canto delle ascensioni. Beati tutti quelli che temono il Signore e camminano nelle sue vie!1 שיר המעלות אשרי כל ירא יהוה ההלך בדרכיו
2 Della fatica delle tue mani certamente mangerai. Beato te: avrai prosperità.2 יגיע כפיך כי תאכל אשריך וטוב לך
3 La tua sposa come vite feconda nell'intimità della tua casa; i tuoi figli come virgulti d'olivo, intorno alla tua mensa.3 אשתך כגפן פריה בירכתי ביתך בניך כשתלי זיתים סביב לשלחנך
4 Ecco com'è benedetto l'uomo che teme il Signore.4 הנה כי כן יברך גבר ירא יהוה
5 Ti benedica il Signore da Sion, affinché tu goda della prosperità di Gerusalemme, per tutti i giorni della tua vita.5 יברכך יהוה מציון וראה בטוב ירושלם כל ימי חייך
6 Possa tu vedere i figli dei tuoi figli. Pace su Israele!6 וראה בנים לבניך שלום על ישראל
