1 In parts according to verses. A Psalm of David. For the octave.	1 Nella fine salmo di David per l'ottavo dì.
2 O Lord, do not rebuke me in your fury, nor chastise me in your anger.	2 Signore, non mi riprendere nel tuo furore; e non mi castigare nella tua ira.
3 Have mercy on me, Lord, for I am weak. Heal me, Lord, for my bones have become disturbed,	3 Abbi misericordia di me, Signore, però ch' io sono infermo; sana me, Signore, però che conturbate sono l'ossa mie.
4 and my soul has been very troubled. But as for you, Lord, when?	4 E l'anima mia è turbata molto; ma tu, Signore, sino a quando mi soccorrerai?
5 Turn to me, Lord, and rescue my soul. Save me because of your mercy.	5 Volgiti a me, Signore, e delibera l'anima mia; e fammi salvo per la tua misericordia.
6 For there is no one in death who would be mindful of you. And who will confess to you in Hell?	6 Però che nella dannazione non è chi si ricorda di te; e nello inferno chi ti confesserà?
7 I have labored in my groaning. Every night, with my tears, I will wash my bed and drench my blanket.	7 Io mi son afflitto nel mio pianto; e laverò ciascuna notte il mio letto; colle mie lacrime bagnerò quello.
8 My eye has been troubled by rage. I have grown old among all my enemies.	8 Turbato è l'occhio mio dal furore; invecchiato sono fra li miei nemici.
9 Scatter before me, all you who work iniquity, for the Lord has heard the voice of my weeping.	9 Partitevi da me, voi che adoperate iniquitade; però che il Signore hae esaudito la voce del mio pianto.
10 The Lord has heard my supplication. The Lord has accepted my prayer.	10 Lo Signore hae esaudito il mio priego, e hae ricevuta la mia orazione.
11 Let all my enemies be ashamed and together be greatly troubled. May they be converted and become ashamed very quickly.	11 Vergogninsi, e con veemenza siano conturbati tutti gl' inimici miei; convertansi, e vergogninsi molto velocemente.
