Hosea 6

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Come, let us return to Yahweh. He has rent us and he wil heal us; he has struck us and he will bind upour wounds;	1 «Vengan, volvamos al Señor: él nos ha desgarrado, pero nos sanará; ha golpeado, pero vendará nuestras heridas.
2 after two days he wil revive us, on the third day he wil raise us up and we shal live in his presence.	2 Después de dos días nos hará revivir, al tercer día nos levantará, y viviremos en su presencia.
3 Let us know, let us strive to know Yahweh; that he will come is as certain as the dawn. He wil come tous like a shower, like the rain of springtime to the earth.	3 Esforcémonos por conocer al Señor: su aparición es cierta como la aurora. Vendrá a nosotros como la lluvia, como la lluvia de primavera que riega la tierra».
4 What am I to do with you, Ephraim? What am I to do with you, Judah? For your love is like morningmist, like the dew that quickly disappears.	4 ¿Qué haré contigo, Efraím? ¿Qué haré contigo, Judá? Porque el amor de ustedes es como nube matinal, como el rocío de pronto se disipa.
5 This is why I have hacked them to pieces by means of the prophets, why I have kil ed them with wordsfrom my mouth, why my sentence wil blaze forth like the dawn-	5 Por eso los hice pedazos por medio de los profetas, los hice morir con las palabras de mi boca, y mi juicio surgirá como la luz.
6 for faithful love is what pleases me, not sacrifice; knowledge of God, not burnt offerings.	6 Porque yo quiero amor y no sacrificios, conocimiento de Dios más que holocaustos.
7 But they have broken the covenant at Adam, there they have betrayed me.	7 Ellos violaron mi alianza en Adam, allí me traicionaron.
8 Gilead is a city of evil-doers, ful of bloody footprints.	8 Galaad es una ciudad de malhechores, llena de improntas de sangre.
9 Like so many robbers in ambush, a gang of priests commits murder on the road to Shechem- whatinfamous behaviour!	9 Como bandidos que están al acecho, una banda de sacerdotes asesina en el camino de Siquem; ¡es una infamia lo que hacen!
10 At Bethel I have seen a horrible thing; there Ephraim plays the whore, Israel is befouled.	10 En la casa de Israel he visto una cosa horrible; allí se prostituye Efraím, se contamina Israel.
11 For you too, Judah, a harvest is in store, when I restore my people's fortunes.	11 También a ti, Judá, se te ha destinado una cosecha, cuando yo cambie la suerte de mi pueblo.
