Psalms 115

1 I have loved, because the Lord will hear the voice of my prayer.	1 Alleluia. Io ho creduto; per la quale cosa io ho parlato; ma io fui molto abbassato.
2 Because he hath inclined his ear unto me: and in my days I will call upon him.	2 Io dissi nella contemplazione mia: ogni uomo è bugiardo.
3 The sorrows of death have encompassed me: and the perils of hell have found me. I met with trouble and sorrow:	3 Che renderò al Signore per tutte le cose che mi ha donate?
4 and I called upon the name of the Lord. O Lord, deliver my soul.	4 Porrò il calice del Salvatore; e invocard il nome del Signore.
5 The Lord is merciful and just, and our God sheweth mercy.	5 Al Signore renderò li miei voti in presenza di tutto lo populo suo;
6 The Lord is the keeper of little ones: I was little and he delivered me.	6 nel cospetto del Signore preziosa è la morte de' [suoi] santi.
7 Turn, O my soul, into thy rest: for the Lord hath been bountiful to thee.	7 O Signore, per che io son il servo tuo, e figliuolo dell' ancilla tua, hai rotti li miei legami;
8 For he hath delivered my soul from death: my eyes from tears, my feet from falling.	8 a te sacrificarò il sacrificio di laude, e invocarò il nome del Signore.
9 I will please the Lord in the land of the living.	9 Al Signore renderò li miei voti nel conspetto di tutto lo populo suo;
	10 ne' portici della casa del Signore, in mezzo di te, o Ierusalem.
