Michea 2

BIBBIA VOLGARE	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Guai a voi che pensate cosa disutile, e adoperate male nelii vostri letti, e fate quello nella luce. della mattina; però che la loro mano sì è incontro a Dio.	1 Disaster for those who plot evil, who lie in bed planning mischief! No sooner is it dawn than they do it,since they have the power to do so.
2 E desideraro li campi, e tolsono (le case) per forza, e rubarono; e caluniarono l'uomo e la sua casa e la sua ereditate.	2 Seizing the fields that they covet, they take over houses as wel , owner and house they seize alike, theman himself as wel as his inheritance.
3 E però questo dice lo Signore: ecco io penso male sopra questa famiglia; per la qual cosa voi non torrete via li vostri colli (in quel dì, e sarà sopra voi la parola), e voi superbi non anderete, però che lo tempo è pessimo.	3 So Yahweh says this: Look, I am now plotting a disaster for this breed from which you wil not extricateyour necks; you wil not hold your heads up then, for the times wil be disastrous indeed.
4 In quello di sarà compresa sopra voi la parola, e sarà cantata la canzone di coloro che diranno con soavità: noi siamo guasti per lo spopolamento; la parte del mio popolo è guastata; or come si partirà da me, s' elli ritorni, colui il quale divida le nostre contrade?	4 That day they wil make a satire on you, they wil strike up a dirge and say, 'We have been stripped ofeverything; my people's land has been divided up, no one else can restore it to them, our fields have beenawarded to our despoiler.'
5 E però tu non averai alcuno che metta filo di sorte nella compagnia del Signore.	5 Because of this, you will have no one to measure out a share in Yahweh's community.
6 (0 Israel) non parlare dicendo: elli non ne manderà sopra costoro, la confusione non piglierà.	6 'Do not drivel,' they drivel, 'do not drivel like this! Disgrace will not overtake us!
7 Dice (Iddio) la casa di Iacob: or egli è breviato lo spirito del Signore, ovvero che cotali sieno le sue cogitazioni? Or non sono buone le mie parole con colui che va dirittamente?	7 'Can the House of Jacob be accursed? Has Yahweh grown short-tempered? Is that his way of going towork? His prophecies can only be favourable for his people Israel!'
8 E lo mio popolo si levò per contrario; voi toglieste le vesti che stavano sopra la gonnella; e coloro che passavano semplicemente, convertiste a battaglia.	8 But you are the ones who play the enemy to my people. From the inoffensive man you snatch his cloak,on those who feel safe you inflict the damage of war.
9 Le femine del mio popole sì cacciaste fuori delle case delli loro diletti; voi toglieste la mia lode dalli loro piccoli figliuoli.	9 My people's women you evict from the homes they love, and deprive the children of my glory for ever,
10 Levatevi suso, e andate; però che non avete qui riposo; per la loro bruttura saranno corrotti di pessimo fetore.	10 saying, 'Up and off with you! You can't stay here!' For a worthless thing you exact an extortionatepledge.
11 (Io parlai inanzi così:) or fussi io uomo che non avesse spirito, e piuttosto parlasse bugia; io colerò a te lo vino, che sarai ebrio; e sarà bene sopra questo, che sarà stillato questo popolo.	11 If a man of the spirit came and invented this lie, 'I prophesy wine and liquor for you,' he would be theprophet for a people like this.
12 Io radunnerò tutto Iacob, e conducerò Israel in una casa, e porrollo insieme come una pecora nel (mezzo del) pecorile, e quasi come una pecora nel mezzo del stabulo; e faranno rumore per la moltitudine delli uomini.	12 I shall assemble the whole of Jacob, I shal gather the remnant of Israel, I shal gather them togetherlike sheep in an enclosure. And like a flock within their fold, they will bleat far away from anyone,
13 Ed egli istarà atteso, manifestando la via inanzi a loro; e dividerannosi, e passeranno la porta e usciranno per quella; e lo re loro passerà inanzi a loro, e lo Signore sarà nello loro capo.	13 their leader wil break out first, then al break out through the gate and escape, with their king leadingthe way and with Yahweh at their head.
