1 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e dissegli:	1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2 Parla ad Aaron, e digli: quand'egli avrà poste sette lucerne, lievi lo candeliere nella parte dello mezzogiorno. E comandògli, che le lucerne ponesse verso la bora dalla parte (dell' oriente) della mensa, dove istava il pane della proposizione, di rincontra a quella parte dove lo candeliere ragguarda; e le lucerne istiano colla mensa.	2 Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
3 Fece Aaron (secondo il comandamento), e puose le lucerne sopra lo candeliere, siccome Iddio comandò a Moisè.	3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
4 E questo si è il modo come era fatto il can deliere: (in prima) era tutto d'oro battuto, così lo mezzo del fusto, come tutte le altre cose che na scevano da tutti i canti, dove erano i calami; e secondo che Iddio mostrò a Moisè, così fece fare il candeliere.	4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
5 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e disse:	5 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6 Tuogli i Leviti di mezzo de' figliuoli d'Israel, e purifichera'gli	6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7 secondo il costume della legge; e lavinsi coll'acqua della purificazione, (la quale è fatta con cenere di bue) e radansi tutti i peli della loro carne. E quando avranno lavate le loro vestimenta, e saranno mondati,	7 And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
8 tolgano il bue dell' armento, con quello che s'appartiene, e farina mescolata con olio; e un altro bue dell' armento torrai tu per lo peccato.	8 Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.
9 E i Leviti congiugnerai innanzi del tabernacolo del patto, e chiamata tutta la moltitudine de' figliuoli d'Israel.	9 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
10 E quando i Leviti saranno in presenza di Dio, porranno i figliuoli d'Israel le mani sopra loro.	10 And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
11 E Aaron gli offerrà per oblazione a Dio per gli figliuoli d'Israel, acciò che servano nell'officio suo.	11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.
12 E i Leviti porranno le mani sopra i buoi, delli quali l'uno farete per lo peccato, e l'altro (arderete) in sacrificio di Dio, acciò che preghiate per loro.	12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
13 E farai stare i Leviti in presenza d'Aaron e de' suoi figliuoli, e consecrara'gli (per ragione e) per oblazione a Dio.	13 And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.
14 E separera'gli del mezzo de' figliuoli d'Israel, acciò che siano miei.	14 Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.
15 E poscia entrino nel tabernacolo del patto, acciò che servano a me. Così gli consacrerai e purificherai in oblazione del Signore, perciò che per dono mi sono dati da figliuoli d'Israel.	15 And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.
16 E per primigeniti li ho presi, intra tutti quelli che generano de' figliuoli d'Israel.	16 For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
17 Loro sono miei, tutti i primigeniti de' figliuoli d'Israel, dagli uomini insino alle bestie. Da quello die ch' io percossi tutti i primigeniti nella terra d'Egitto, elessi per me tutti i primigeniti (nella terra d'Egitto) de' figliuoli d'Israel.	17 For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
18 E de' figliuoli d'Israel tolsi i Leviti, per tutti i primigeniti (che m'erano tenuti).	18 And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.
19 E diedigli per dono ad Aaron e ai figliuoli suoi, acciò che mi servano per Israel nel tabernacolo (santo) del patto, e preghino per lo popolo, acciò che non sia piaga intra loro, se avessero ardire d'entrare nel santuario.	19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
20 Fecero Moisè e Aaron, e ogni moltitudine de' figliuoli d'Israel, verso i Leviti, secondo che Iddio comandò loro.	20 And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.
21 E si purificarono, e lavorono le loro vestimenta; e puosegli Aaron nel cospetto di Dio, e pregoe per loro,	21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
22 che purificati entrassero a' loro officii nel tabernacolo (santo) del patto in presenza d'Aaron e de' suoi figliuoli. Secondo che Iddio comandò de' Le vitici, così fu fatto.	22 And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
23 Parlò Iddio a Moisè, e disse:	23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24 Questa si è la legge de' Levitici: da venti anni in su entraronno nel tabernacolo del patto per ministrare.	24 This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
25 Quando verranno nel cinquantesimo anno, non entreranno per servire nel tabernacolo più.	25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
26 Ma saranno servidori de' fratelli loro, e guarderanno nel tabernacolo quelle cose che furono loro raccomandate; ma le operazioni non facciano. E così disporrai i Leviti a guardare le cose (loro) che a loro saranno date in guardia.	26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
