Hosea 14

NEW JERUSALEM	Biblija Hrvatski
1 Samaria will pay the penalty for having rebel ed against her God. They wil fall by the sword, their littlechildren wil be dashed to pieces and their pregnant women disembowelled.	1 Ispaštat će Samarija jer se protiv Boga svoga pobunila. Od mača past će oni, djecu će njihovu smrskati, žene trudne rasporiti.
2 Israel, come back to Yahweh your God your guilt was the cause of your downfal .	2 Vrati se, Izraele, Jahvi Bogu svome, jer zbog svojeg si bezakonja posrnuo.
3 Provide yourself with words and come back to Yahweh. Say to him, 'Take all guilt away and give uswhat is good, instead of bulls we wil dedicate to you our lips.	3 Uzmite sa sobom riječi i Jahvi se vratite. Recite mu: »Skini s nas bezakonje i dobrohotno primi da ti prinesemo plod svojih usana.
4 Assyria cannot save us, we will not ride horses any more, or say, "Our God!" to our own handiwork, foryou are the one in whom orphans find compassion.'	4 Asirac nas neće izbavljati i nećemo konje više jahati niti ćemo djelu ruku svojih govoriti: ‘Bože naš!’ – jer u tebe sirota milost nalazi.«
5 I shal cure them of their disloyalty, I shal love them with all my heart, for my anger has turned awayfrom them.	5 Iscijelit ću ih od njihova otpada, od svega ću ih srca ljubiti; jer gnjev se moj odvratio od njih.
6 I shal fal like dew on Israel, he wil bloom like the lily and thrust out roots like the cedar of Lebanon;	6 Bit ću kao rosa Izraelu; kao ljiljan on će cvasti, pustit će korijen poput jablana,
7 he will put out new shoots, he will have the beauty of the olive tree and the fragrance of Lebanon.	7 nadaleko pružat će izdanke. Ljepota će mu biti kao u masline, miris poput libanonskog.
8 They will come back to live in my shade; they will grow wheat again, they wil make the vine flourish, their wine will be as famous as Lebanon's.	8 Opet će u mojoj sjeni boraviti, uzgajat će svoju pšenicu, vinograde gajit’ što će steći ime vina helbonskog.
9 What has Ephraim to do with idols any more when I hear him and watch over him? I am like anevergreen cypress, you owe your fruitfulness to me.	9 Efrajime, što ti imaš još s kumirima? Ja sam ga uslišao i pogledao. Ja sam poput zelena čempresa: po meni si rodan plodovima.
10 Let the wise understand these words, let the intel igent grasp their meaning, for Yahweh's ways arestraight and the upright wil walk in them, but sinners wil stumble.	10 Tko je mudar neka shvati ovo, i čovjek razuman neka spozna! Jer pravi su putovi Jahvini: pravednici hode po njima, grešnici na njima posrću.
