1 ' "The Lord Yahweh says this: The east gate of the inner court must be kept shut for the six workingdays. On the Sabbath day, however, it must be opened, as also on the day of the New Moon;	1 - Così dice il Signore Dio: «La porta del cortile interiore che prospetta l'oriente resterà chiusa i sei giorni feriali e nel giorno di sabato sarà aperta, e si aprirà anche il giorno del novilunio.
2 and the prince must go in through the porch of the outer gate and take his position by the doorposts ofthe gate. The priests must then offer his burnt offerings and his communion sacrifice. He must prostrate himselfon the threshold of the gate and go out, and the gate must not be shut again until the evening.	2 E il principe si avanzerà per la via del vestibolo della porta dal di fuori, e si arresterà nel limitare della porta, e i sacerdoti offriranno il suo olocausto e il suo sacrificio pacifico. E farà adorazione sopra il limitare della porta e poi uscirà, ma la porta non si chiuderà fino a sera.
3 The people of the country must prostrate themselves in the presence of Yahweh at the entrance to thegate on Sabbaths and days of the New Moon.	3 E la popolazione del paese farà adorazione all'ingresso di quella porta, davanti al Signore, nei sabati e nei novilunii.
4 The burnt offering offered to Yahweh by the prince on the Sabbath day must consist of sixunblemished lambs and one unblemished ram,	4 Il principe poi offrirà al Signore questo olocausto: nel giorno di sabato, sei agnelli senza difetto e un montone immacolato.
5 with an oblation of one ephah for the ram, and such oblation as he pleases for the lambs, and a hin ofoil for every ephah.	5 E l'offerta di un'efa di farina per il montone e per gli agnelli, l'offerta sarà di quanto disporrà la sua mano e di olio un hin per ogni efa.
6 On the day of the New Moon it must consist of an unblemished young bull, six unblemished lambs andone unblemished ram,	6 Nel giorno del novilunio un vitello della mandra senza difetti e i sei agnelli e i montoni siano senza difetti.
7 when he must make an oblation of one ephah for the bul and one ephah for the ram, and what hepleases for the lambs, and a hin of oil for every ephah.	7 E un'efa pel vitello e un'efa pel montone offrirà in oblazione; e per gli agnelli, come si troverà di potere; e di olio, un hin per ogni efa.
8 "When the prince goes in, he must enter by the porch of the gate, and he must leave by the same way.	8 Quando il principe vuole entrare, entrerà per la via del vestibolo di una porta e per la stessa via uscirà.
9 When the people of the country come into the presence of Yahweh at the solemn festivals, those whohave come in by the north gate to prostrate themselves must go out by the south gate, and those who havecome in by the south gate must go out by the north gate; no one must turn back to leave through the gate bywhich he entered but must go out on the opposite side.	9 E quando la popolazione del paese entrerà nel cospetto del Signore, in occasione delle solennità, chi entra per la porta settentrionale per far adorazione, esca per la porta meridionale, e chi entra per la via della porta meridionale esca per la via della porta settentrionale, non rifaccia la via della porta da cui è entrato, ma esca da quella che le è di rimpetto.
10 The prince will be with them, coming in like them and going out like them.	10 Il principe in mezzo di essi entrerà con quei che entrano e uscirà con quei che escono.
11 "On feast days and solemn festivals the oblation must be one ephah for every bul , one ephah forevery ram, what he pleases for the lambs, and a hin of oil for every ephah.	11 Nei giorni di concorso e nelle solennità vi sarà l'oblazione di un'efa col rispettivo vitello e un'efa col rispettivo montone, e di agnelli quel che troverà di poter disporre, e di olio, un hin per ogni efa.
12 When the prince offers Yahweh voluntary burnt offerings or a voluntary communion sacrifice, the eastgate must be opened for him, and he must offer his burnt offerings and his communion sacrifice as he does onthe Sabbath day; when he has gone out, the gate must be shut after him.	12 Quando il principe farà qualche olocausto di supererogazione o sacrifici pacifici supererogatori al Signore, egli si aprirà la porta che prospetta a oriente e offrirà il suo olocausto e le sue ostie pacifiche come si suol fare nel giorno di sabato, poi se ne andrà e dopo che sarà uscito si richiuderà la porta.
13 Every day he must offer an unblemished lamb one year old as a burnt offering to Yahweh; he mustoffer this every morning.	13 E un agnello dell'anno senza difetti offrirà in olocausto ogni giorno al Signore, l'offrirà sempre la mattina.
14 Every morning in addition he must offer an oblation of one-sixth of an ephah and one-third of a hin ofoil, for mixing with the flour. This is the oblation to Yahweh, a perpetual decree, fixed for ever.	14 E offrirà in oblazione oltre di questo, mattina per mattina, la sesta parte di un'efa, e d'olio, un terzo di hin per mescerlo col fior di farina, sarà un sacrificio al Signore obbligatorio perenne e perpetuo.
15 The lamb, the oblation and the oil must be offered morning after morning for ever.	15 Offrirà l'agnello, l'oblazione e l'olio ogni mattina e sarà il sacrificio perpetuo».
16 "Lord Yahweh says this: If the prince presents part of his hereditary portion to one of his sons, the giftmust pass into the ownership of his sons and become their hereditary property.	16 Così dice il Signore Dio: «Se il principe farà qualche donativo a uno dei suoi figli, l'eredità di questo passerà ai suoi figli che diventeranno possessori per diritto di eredità.
17 If, however, he presents part of his hereditary portion to one of his slaves, it wil belong to the manonly until the year of liberation and then must revert to the prince. Only his sons may retain his hereditaryportion.	17 E se sulla propria eredità avrà fatto un legato a pro di uno dei suoi servi sarà di costui, lo possederà fino all'anno del riscatto e poi ritornerà al principe e l'eredità sarà devoluta ai suoi figliuoli.
18 The prince may not take any part of the people's hereditary portion, thus robbing them of what istheirs; he must provide the patrimony of his sons out of his own property, so that no member of my people isrobbed of what is his!" '	18 Il principe non prenderà i beni di famiglia ad alcuno del popolo colla violenza, spossessandolo del suo; ma dei propri beni assegnerà un'eredità ai suoi figli: questo affinchè nessuno del mio popolo resti spossessato del suo avere».
19 He took me through the entrance at the side of the north gate that leads to the rooms of the HolyPlace set apart for the priests. And there before us, to the west, was a space at the end.	19 Allora l'angelo, per un ingresso laterale alla porta m'introdusse nelle sale del santuario destinate ai sacerdoti che prospettavano il settentrione e ivi era un luogo collocato ad occidente.
20 He said to me, 'This is where the priests must boil the slaughtered animals for the sacrifice for sinand the sacrifice of reparation, and where they must bake the oblation, without having to carry them into theouter court and so run the risk of hal owing the people.'	20 E mi disse: «Questo è il luogo dove i sacerdoti faranno cuocere le vittime per il peccato e pel delitto, ove cuoceranno ciò ch'è stato sacrificato, per non farlo uscire nel cortile esteriore e il popolo non si trovi a contatto colle cose sante».
21 He then took me into the outer court and led me to each of its four corners; in each corner of theouter court was a compound;	21 Indi mi fece uscire nel cortile esteriore e girare pei quattro angoli del cortile ed ecco vi era in un angolo un cortiletto e ogni angolo del cortile aveva il suo.
22 in other words, the four corners of the court contained four smal compounds, forty cubits by thirty, alfour being the same size.	22 I cortiletti così disposti ai quattro angoli del cortile principale avevano quaranta cubiti pel lungo e trenta pel largo, erano della stessa dimensione tutti e quattro.
23 Al four were enclosed by a wal , with hearths al round the bottom of the wall.	23 E vi era una parete a portico che cingeva ciascuno dei quattro cortiletti e sotto al portico delle cucine intorno.
24 He said, 'These are the kitchens where the Temple servants must boil the sacrifices offered by thepeople.'	24 E mi disse: «Questo è il luogo delle cucine, dove i ministri della casa del Signore cuoceranno le vittime del popolo».
