1 God of vengeance, Yahweh, God of vengeance, shine forth!	1 (93-1) Боже отмщений, Господи, Боже отмщений, яви Себя!
2 Arise, judge of the world, give back the proud what they deserve!	2 (93-2) Восстань, Судия земли, воздай возмездие гордым.
3 How long are the wicked, Yahweh, how long are the wicked to triumph?	3 (93-3) Доколе, Господи, нечестивые, доколе нечестивые торжествовать будут?
4 They bluster and boast, they flaunt themselves, all the evil-doers.	4 (93-4) Они изрыгают дерзкие речи; величаются все делающие беззаконие;
5 They crush your people, Yahweh, they oppress your heritage,	5 (93-5) попирают народ Твой, Господи, угнетают наследие Твое;
6 they murder the widow and the stranger, bring the orphan to a violent death.	6 (93-6) вдову и пришельца убивают, и сирот умерщвляют
7 They say, 'Yahweh is not looking, the God of Jacob is taking no notice.'	7 (93-7) и говорят: 'не увидит Господь, и не узнает Бог Иаковлев'.
8 Take notice yourselves, you coarsest of people! Fools, when wil you learn some sense?	8 (93-8) Образумьтесь, бессмысленные люди! когда вы будете умны, невежды?
9 Shal he who implanted the ear not hear, he who fashioned the eye not see?	9 (93-9) Насадивший ухо не услышит ли? и образовавший глаз не увидит ли?
10 Shal he who instructs nations not punish? Yahweh, the teacher of al people,	10 (93-10) Вразумляющий народы неужели не обличит, --Тот, Кто учит человека разумению?
11 knows human plans and how insipid they are.	11 (93-11) Господь знает мысли человеческие, что они суетны.
12 How blessed are those you instruct, Yahweh, whom you teach by means of your law,	12 (93-12) Блажен человек, которого вразумляешь Ты, Господи, и наставляешь законом Твоим,
13 to give them respite in evil times, til a pit is dug for the wicked.	13 (93-13) чтобы дать ему покой в бедственные дни, доколе нечестивому выроется яма!
14 Yahweh will not abandon his people, he wil not desert his heritage;	14 (93-14) Ибо не отринет Господь народа Своего и не оставит наследия Своего.
15 for judgement will again become saving justice, and in its wake al upright hearts will fol ow.	15 (93-15) Ибо суд возвратится к правде, и за ним [последуют] все правые сердцем.
16 Who rises up on my side against the wicked? Who stands firm on my side against al evil-doers?	16 (93-16) Кто восстанет за меня против злодеев? кто станет за меня против делающих беззаконие?
17 If Yahweh did not come to my help, I should soon find myself dwel ing in the silence.	17 (93-17) Если бы не Господь был мне помощником, вскоре вселилась бы душа моя в [страну] молчания.
18 I need only say, 'I am slipping,' for your faithful love, Yahweh, to support me;	18 (93-18) Когда я говорил: 'колеблется нога моя', --милость Твоя, Господи, поддерживала меня.
19 however great the anxiety of my heart, your consolations soothe me.	19 (93-19) При умножении скорбей моих в сердце моем, утешения Твои услаждают душу мою.
20 Are you partner to a destructive court, that gives disorder the status of law?	20 (93-20) Станет ли близ Тебя седалище губителей, умышляющих насилие вопреки закону?
21 They make an attack on the life of the upright, and condemn innocent blood.	21 (93-21) Толпою устремляются они на душу праведника и осуждают кровь неповинную.
22 No! Yahweh is a stronghold to me, my God is my rock of refuge.	22 (93-22) Но Господь--защита моя, и Бог мой--твердыня убежища моего,
23 He turns back their guilt on themselves, annihilates them for their wickedness, he annihilates them,Yahweh our God.	23 (93-23) и обратит на них беззаконие их, и злодейством их истребит их, истребит их Господь Бог наш.
