2 You made the earth tremble, split it open; now mend the rifts, it is tottering stil .	2 Kad je David izišao protiv Aram Naharajima i protiv Aram Sobe i kad je Joab na povratku potukao dvanaest tisuća Edomaca u Slanoj dolini.
3 You have forced your people to drink a bitter draught, forced us to drink a wine that made us reel.	3 Bože, ti nas odbâcî i bojne nam redove probî, razjari se, a sad nas opet vrati!
4 You gave a signal to those who fear you to let them escape out of range of the bow.Pause	4 Potrese zemlju, rasječe je, zatvori joj usjeline jer se poljuljala.
5 To rescue those you love, save with your right hand and answer us.	5 Zlu si kob na svoj narod navalio, napio nas vinom omamnim.
6 God has spoken from his sanctuary, 'In triumph I wil divide up Shechem, and share out the Valley ofSuccoth.	6 Al’ si i stijeg dao vjernicima svojim da umaknu lûku dušmanskom.
7 'Mine is Gilead, mine Manasseh, Ephraim the helmet on my head, Judah my commander's baton,	7 Da ti se ljubimci izbave, desnicom pomozi, usliši nas!
8 'Moab a bowl for me to wash in, on Edom I plant my sandal. Now try shouting "Victory!" over me,Philistia!'	8 Bog reče u svom svetištu: »Šekem ću razdijelit’ kličući, dolinu Sukot izmjeriti.
9 Who wil lead me against a fortified city, who wil guide me into Edom,	9 Moj je Gilead, moj Manaše, Efrajim mi kaciga, Judeja žezlo moje!
10 if not you, the God who has rejected us? God, you no longer march with our armies.	10 Moab je sud iz kojeg se umivam, na Edom ću baciti obuću, nad Filistejcem slavit’ pobjedu!«
11 Bring us help in our time of crisis, any human help is worthless.	11 Tko će me dovesti do utvrđena grada, tko će me dovesti do Edoma?
12 With God we shal do deeds of valour, he wil trample down our enemies.	12 Zar nećeš ti, o Bože, što nas odbaci? Zar više nećeš, Bože, s četama našim?
	13 Pomozi nam protiv dušmana, jer ljudska je pomoć ništavna!
	14 S pomoću Božjom hrabro ćemo se boriti, a on će zgaziti naše dušmane.
