Livre des Psaumes 14

JERUSALEM	NEW JERUSALEM
1 Du maître de chant. De David. L'insensé a dit en son coeur: "Non, plus de Dieu! " Corrompues,abominables leurs actions; non, plus d'honnête homme.	1 [For the choirmaster Of David] The fool has said in his heart, 'There is no God.' Their deeds arecorrupt and vile, not one of them does right.
2 Des cieux Yahvé se penche vers les fils d'Adam, pour voir s'il en est un de sensé, un qui chercheDieu.	2 Yahweh looks down from heaven at the children of Adam. To see if a single one is wise, a single oneseeks God.
3 Tous ils sont dévoyés, ensemble pervertis. Non, il n'est plus d'honnête homme, non, plus un seul.	3 Al have turned away, all alike turned sour, not one of them does right, not a single one.
4 Ne savent-ils, tous les malfaisants? Ils mangent mon peuple, voilà le pain qu'ils mangent, ilsn'invoquent pas Yahvé.	4 Are they not aware, all these evil-doers? They are devouring my people, this is the bread they eat, andthey never call to Yahweh.
5 Là, ils seront frappés d'effroi sans cause d'effroi, car Dieu est pour la race du juste:	5 They wil be gripped with fear, where there is no need for fear, for God takes the side of the upright;
6 vous bafouez la révolte du pauvre, mais Yahvé est son abri.	6 you may mock the plans of the poor, but Yahweh is their refuge.
7 Qui donnera de Sion le salut d'Israël? Lorsque Yahvé ramènera son peuple, allégresse à Jacob etjoie pour Israël!	7 Who wil bring from Zion salvation for Israel? When Yahweh brings his people home, what joy forJacob, what happiness for Israel!
