1 Jesus tornou a falar-lhes por meio de parábolas:	1 - Gesù, continuando il discorso, parlò di nuovo in parabole e disse:
2 The kingdom of the heavens has become like a king who made a wedding feast for his son,	2 «Il regno de' cieli è simile a un re che fece le nozze del suo figliuolo;
3 and sent his bondmen to call the persons invited to the wedding feast, and they would not come.	3 e mandò i suoi servi a chiamar gl'invitati, i quali non vollero venire.
4 Again he sent other bondmen, saying, Say to the persons invited, Behold, I have prepared my dinner; my oxen and my fatted beasts are killed, and all things ready; come to the wedding feast.	4 Mandò altri servi a dire: - Ecco ho preparato il mio convito, i miei buoi e gli animali ingrassati sono ammazzati e tutto è all'ordine; venite alle nozze. -
5 But they made light of it, and went, one to his own land, and another to his commerce.	5 Ma quelli, non curandosene se ne andarono, chi alla sua villa e chi al suo traffico;
6 And the rest, laying hold of his bondmen, ill-treated and slew {them}.	6 altri anzi, presi i servi, li oltraggiarono e uccisero.
7 And {when} the king {heard of it he} was wroth, and having sent his forces, destroyed those murderers and burned their city.	7 Il re, udito ciò, si adirò e mandò le sue truppe a sterminare quegli omicidii e a bruciare la loro città.
8 Then he says to his bondmen, The wedding feast is ready, but those invited were not worthy;	8 Allora disse a' suoi servi: - Le nozze son pronte, ma gl'invitati non ne furono degni.
9 go therefore into the thoroughfares of the highways, and as many as ye shall find invite to the wedding feast.	9 Andate sui crocicchi delle strade e quanti trovate, chiamateli alle nozze. -
10 And those bondmen went out into the highways, and brought together all as many as they found, both evil and good; and the wedding feast was furnished with guests.	10 Quei servi, usciti per le strade, radunarono quanti trovarono, cattivi e buoni, e la sala delle nozze fu piena di convitati.
11 And the king, having gone in to see the guests, beheld there a man not clothed with a wedding garment.	11 Il re entrò per vedere quelli che erano a tavola e, avendo notato un uomo che non era in abito da nozze,
12 And he says to him, {My} friend, how camest thou in here not having on a wedding garment? But he was speechless.	12 gli osservò: - Amico, come sei entrato qui senza l'abito da nozze? - Quegli restò senza parola.
13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him feet and hands, and take him away, and cast him out into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and the gnashing of teeth.	13 Allora il re disse ai servi: - Legategli le mani e i piedi e gettatelo fuori nel buio; ivi sarà il pianto e lo stridor di denti. -
14 For many are called ones, but few chosen ones.	14 Perchè molti sono i chiamati, ma pochi gli eletti».
15 And they send out to him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Teacher, we know that thou art true and teachest the way of God in truth, and carest not for any one, for thou regardest not men?s person;	15 Allora i Farisei si ritirarono e tennero consiglio per coglierlo in parole.
16 tell us therefore what thou thinkest: Is it lawful to give tribute to Caesar, or not?	16 Gli mandarono i loro discepoli con degli Erodiani per dirgli: «Maestro, sappiamo che sei veritiero e insegni la via di Dio conforme alla verità e non guardi in faccia a nessuno, perchè non badi all'apparenza degli uomini;
17 But Jesus, knowing their wickedness, said, Why tempt ye me, hypocrites?	17 dicci dunque ciò che ti pare: è lecito o no pagare il tributo a Cesare?».
18 Shew me the money of the tribute. And they presented to him a denarius.	18 Gesù, capita la loro malizia, disse: «Perchè mi tentate, o ipocriti?
19 And he says to them, Whose {is} this image and superscription?	19 Mostratemi la moneta del tributo». Essi gli presentarono un denaro.
20 They say to him, Caesar?s. Then he says to them, Pay then what is Caesar?s to Caesar, and what is God?s to God.	20 Ed egli chiese loro: «Di chi è quest'immagine e l'iscrizione?».
21 And when they heard {him}, they wondered, and left him, and went away.	21 Gli risposero: «Di Cesare». Soggiunse allora Gesù: «Rendete dunque a Cesare quello che è di Cesare, e a Dio quello che è di Dio».
22 saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any one die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife and shall raise up seed to his brother.	22 Ed essi, udita questa risposta, stupirono e, lasciatolo, se n'andarono via.
23 Now there were with us seven brethren; and the first having married died, and not having seed, left his wife to his brother.	23 In quello stesso giorno vennero a lui i Sadducei, i quali negano che vi sia la resurrezione e lo interrogarono dicendo:
24 In like manner also the second and the third, unto the seven.	24 «Maestro, Mosè disse: - Se uno muore senza figli, suo fratello sposi la moglie di lui e susciti prole a suo fratello. -
25 And last of all the woman also died.	25 Ora c'erano tra noi sette fratelli; il primo prese moglie e morì e, non avendo prole, lasciò la moglie al fratello.
26 In the resurrection therefore of which of the seven shall she be wife, for all had her?	26 Lo stesso fece il secondo e poi il terzo, fino al settimo.
27 And Jesus answering said to them, Ye err, not knowing the scriptures nor the power of God.	27 Ultima fra tutti, morì anche la donna.
28 For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but are as angels of God in heaven.	28 Nella resurrezione adunque di quale dei sette sarà moglie, poichè tutti l'ebbero?».
29 Quanto à ressurreição dos mortos, não lestes o que Deus vos disse:	29 Gesù rispose loro: «Voi v'ingannate, perchè non capite nè le Scritture, nè la potenza di Dio.
30 Eu sou o Deus de Abraão, o Deus de Isaac e o Deus de Jacó {Ex 3,6}? Ora, ele não é Deus dos mortos, mas Deus dos vivos.	30 Infatti alla resurrezione nè si ammoglieranno nè si mariteranno, ma saranno come angeli di Dio in cielo.
31 E, ouvindo esta doutrina, as turbas se enchiam de grande admiração.	31 Quanto poi alla resurrezione dei morti non avete letto quel che vi fu detto da Dio:
32 Sabendo os fariseus que Jesus reduzira ao silêncio os saduceus, reuniram-se	32 "Io sono il Dio d'Abramo, il Dio di Isacco e il Dio di Giacobbe"? Non è il Dio dei morti, ma dei vivi».
33 e um deles, doutor da lei, fez-lhe esta pergunta para pô-lo à prova:	33 Il popolo, udendo ciò, si meravigliava per la sua dottrina.
34 Mestre, qual é o maior mandamento da lei?	34 I Farisei, udito che Gesù aveva ridotto al silenzio i Sadducei, si raccolsero insieme,
35 Respondeu Jesus: Amarás o Senhor teu Deus de todo teu coração, de toda tua alma e de todo teu espírito {Dt 6,5}.	35 e un d'essi, dottore della legge, gli domandò per tentarlo:
36 Este é o maior e o primeiro mandamento.	36 «Maestro, qual è il più gran comandamento della legge?».
37 E o segundo, semelhante a este, é: Amarás teu próximo como a ti mesmo {Lv 19,18}.	37 Gesù gli rispose: «" Ama il Signore Dio tuo con tutto il tuo cuore, con tutta la tua anima e con tutta la tua mente ".
38 Nesses dois mandamentos se resumem toda a lei e os profetas.	38 Questo è il più grande e il primo comandamento.
39 Como os fariseus se agrupassem, Jesus interrogou-os:	39 Il secondo poi è simile a questo: " Amerai il tuo prossimo come te stesso ".
40 Que pensais vós de Cristo? De quem é filho? Responderam: De Davi!	40 Su questi due comandamenti si fondano tutta la legge e i Profeti».
41 Como então, prosseguiu Jesus, Davi, falando sob inspiração do Espírito, chama-o Senhor, dizendo:	41 Ed essendosi radunati i Farisei, Gesù li interrogò
42 O Senhor disse a meu Senhor: Senta-te à minha direita, até que eu ponha teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés {Sl 109,1}?	42 dicendo: «Che vi pare del Cristo? E di chi è figlio?». «Di David», gli risposero.
43 Se, pois, Davi o chama Senhor, como é ele seu filho?	43 Domandò loro: «Come dunque David in ispirito lo chiama Signore, dicendo:
44 Ninguém pôde responder-lhe nada. E, depois daquele dia, ninguém mais ousou interrogá-lo.	44 - Il Signore ha detto al mio Signore: " Siedi alla mia destra, finchè io abbia posto i tuoi nemici sotto i tuoi piedi " -?
	45 Se dunque David lo chiama Signore, come può essere suo figlio?».
	46 E nessuno sapeva risponder nulla; nè da quel giorno nessuno più osò interrogarlo.
