2 Hai benedetto, o Signore, la tua terra, hai tolto via la schiavitù di Giacobbe.	2 My whole being yearns and pines for Yahweh's courts, My heart and my body cry out for joy to theliving God.
3 Hai rimesso l'iniquità del tuo popolo, hai ricoperto tutti i loro peccati.	3 Even the sparrow has found a home, the swal ow a nest to place its young: your altars, YahwehSabaoth, my King and my God.
4 Hai calmato ogni tua ira, ti sei rimosso dal furor del tuo sdegno.	4 How blessed are those who live in your house; they shall praise you continual y. Pause
5 Rialzaci, o Dio della nostra salvezza, e allontana l'ira tua da noi.	5 Blessed those who find their strength in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.
6 Sarai tu adirato con noi in eterno? prolungherai l'ira tua di generazione in generazione?	6 As they pass through the Val ey of the Balsam, they make there a water-hole, and -- a further blessing-- early rain fil s it.
7 [No], o Dio, [ma] tornerai a vivificarci, e il tuo popolo s'allieterà in te.	7 They make their way from height to height, God shows himself to them in Zion.
8 Mostraci, o Signore, la tua clemenza, e la tua salvezza concedi a noi.	8 Yahweh, God Sabaoth, hear my prayer, listen, God of Jacob.
9 Ascolterò ciò che parla in me il Signore Iddio: perchè parla di pace al suo popolo e ai suoi santi e a coloro che rientrano in se stessi.	9 God, our shield, look, and see the face of your anointed.
10 Per certo è vicina a quei che lo temono la sua salvezza. Sicchè abiti [di nuovo] la gloria [di Dio] nella nostra terra.	10 Better one day in your courts than a thousand at my own devices, to stand on the threshold of God'shouse than to live in the tents of the wicked.
11 La clemenza e la fedeltà si vanno incontro, la giustizia e la pace si baciano.	11 For Yahweh God is a rampart and shield, he gives grace and glory; Yahweh refuses nothing good tothose whose life is blameless.
12 La fedeltà spunta su dalla terra, e la giustizia guarda giù dal cielo.	12 Yahweh Sabaoth, blessed is he who trusts in you.
13 Sì, il Signore largirà la bontàe la terra nostra produrrà il suo frutto.
14 La giustizia davanti a lui camminerà, e guiderà per la via i suoi passi.
