1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:	1 וידבר יהוה אל משה ואל אהרן לאמר
2 “Each one shall make camp, by their troops, as well as by their insignia and standards, and by the houses of their kinships, all around the tabernacle of the covenant.”	2 איש על דגלו באתת לבית אבתם יחנו בני ישראל מנגד סביב לאהל מועד יחנו
3 To the east, Judah shall fix his tents, by the companies of his army. And the leader of his sons shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.	3 והחנים קדמה מזרחה דגל מחנה יהודה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני יהודה נחשון בן עמינדב
4 And the entire total of the fighting men from his stock was seventy-four thousand six hundred.	4 וצבאו ופקדיהם ארבעה ושבעים אלף ושש מאות
5 Beside him, those of the tribe of Issachar were encamped, whose leader was Nathanael the son of Zuar.	5 והחנים עליו מטה יששכר ונשיא לבני יששכר נתנאל בן צוער
6 And the entire number of his fighting men was fifty-four thousand four hundred.	6 וצבאו ופקדיו ארבעה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות
7 In the tribe of Zebulon, the leader was Eliab the son of Helon.	7 מטה זבולן ונשיא לבני זבולן אליאב בן חלן
8 All the army of fighting men from his stock were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.	8 וצבאו ופקדיו שבעה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות
9 All who were numbered in the camp of Judah were one hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred. And these, by their companies, shall go forth first.	9 כל הפקדים למחנה יהודה מאת אלף ושמנים אלף וששת אלפים וארבע מאות לצבאתם ראשנה יסעו
10 In the camp of the sons of Ruben, toward the south side, the leader shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.	10 דגל מחנה ראובן תימנה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני ראובן אליצור בן שדיאור
11 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty-six thousand five hundred.	11 וצבאו ופקדיו ששה וארבעים אלף וחמש מאות
12 Beside him, those of the tribe of Simeon were encamped, whose leader was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.	12 והחונם עליו מטה שמעון ונשיא לבני שמעון שלמיאל בן צורי שדי
13 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.	13 וצבאו ופקדיהם תשעה וחמשים אלף ושלש מאות
14 In the tribe of Gad, the leader was Eliasaph the son of Reuel.	14 ומטה גד ונשיא לבני גד אליסף בן דעואל
15 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.	15 וצבאו ופקדיהם חמשה וארבעים אלף ושש מאות וחמשים
16 All who were counted in the camp of Ruben were one hundred fifty thousand and one thousand four hundred fifty, by their companies. These shall advance in the second place.	16 כל הפקדים למחנה ראובן מאת אלף ואחד וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות וחמשים לצבאתם ושנים יסעו
17 But the tabernacle of the testimony shall be lifted up by the officers of the Levites and their companies. In the manner in which it is set up, so also shall it be taken down. Each one shall advance according to their places and ranks.	17 ונסע אהל מועד מחנה הלוים בתוך המחנת כאשר יחנו כן יסעו איש על ידו לדגליהם
18 On the west side, there shall be the camp of the sons of Ephraim, whose leader was Elishama the son of Ammihud.	18 דגל מחנה אפרים לצבאתם ימה ונשיא לבני אפרים אלישמע בן עמיהוד
19 The entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty thousand five hundred.	19 וצבאו ופקדיהם ארבעים אלף וחמש מאות
20 And with them was the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, whose leader was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.	20 ועליו מטה מנשה ונשיא לבני מנשה גמליאל בן פדהצור
21 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.	21 וצבאו ופקדיהם שנים ושלשים אלף ומאתים
22 In the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, the leader was Abidan the son of Gideoni.	22 ומטה בנימן ונשיא לבני בנימן אבידן בן גדעני
23 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were counted, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.	23 וצבאו ופקדיהם חמשה ושלשים אלף וארבע מאות
24 All who were numbered in the camp of Ephraim were one hundred eight thousand one hundred, by their companies. These shall advance third.	24 כל הפקדים למחנה אפרים מאת אלף ושמנת אלפים ומאה לצבאתם ושלשים יסעו
25 Toward the north side, the sons of Dan were encamped, whose leader was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.	25 דגל מחנה דן צפנה לצבאתם ונשיא לבני דן אחיעזר בן עמישדי
26 The entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.	26 וצבאו ופקדיהם שנים וששים אלף ושבע מאות
27 Beside him, those of the tribe of Asher fixed their tents, whose leader was Pagiel the son of Ochran.	27 והחנים עליו מטה אשר ונשיא לבני אשר פגעיאל בן עכרן
28 The entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty thousand and one thousand five hundred.	28 וצבאו ופקדיהם אחד וארבעים אלף וחמש מאות
29 From the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the leader was Ahira the son of Enan.	29 ומטה נפתלי ונשיא לבני נפתלי אחירע בן עינן
30 The entire army of his fighting men were fifty-three thousand four hundred.	30 וצבאו ופקדיהם שלשה וחמשים אלף וארבע מאות
31 All who were numbered in the camp of Dan were one hundred fifty-seven thousand six hundred; and these shall advance at the very end.	31 כל הפקדים למחנה דן מאת אלף ושבעה וחמשים אלף ושש מאות לאחרנה יסעו לדגליהם
32 This is the number of the sons of Israel, of their army divided by the houses of their kinships and their companies: six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.	32 אלה פקודי בני ישראל לבית אבתם כל פקודי המחנת לצבאתם שש מאות אלף ושלשת אלפים וחמש מאות וחמשים
33 But the Levites were not numbered among the sons of Israel. For so the Lord had instructed Moses.	33 והלוים לא התפקדו בתוך בני ישראל כאשר צוה יהוה את משה
34 And the sons of Israel acted according to all the things that the Lord had commanded. They were encamped by their companies, and they advanced by the families and houses of their fathers.	34 ויעשו בני ישראל ככל אשר צוה יהוה את משה כן חנו לדגליהם וכן נסעו איש למשפחתיו על בית אבתיו
