1 Il entra de nouveau dans une synagogue, et il y avait là un homme qui avait la main desséchée.	1 And again, he entered into the synagogue. And there was a man there who had a withered hand.
2 Et ils l'épiaient pour voir s'il allait le guérir, le jour du sabbat, afin de l'accuser.	2 And they observed him, to see if he would cure on the Sabbaths, so that they might accuse him.
3 Il dit à l'homme qui avait la main sèche: "Lève-toi, là, au milieu."	3 And he said to the man who had the withered hand, “Stand up in the middle.”
4 Et il leur dit: "Est-il permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire du bien plutôt que de faire du mal, de sauverune vie plutôt que de la tuer?" Mais eux se taisaient.	4 And he said to them: “Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbaths, or to do evil, to give health to a life, or to destroy?” But they remained silent.
5 Promenant alors sur eux un regard de colère, navré de l'endurcissement de leur coeur, il dit à l'homme:"Etends la main." Il l'étendit et sa main fut remise en état.	5 And looking around at them with anger, being very saddened over the blindness of their hearts, he said to the man, “Extend your hand.” And he extended it, and his hand was restored to him.
6 Etant sortis, les Pharisiens tenaient aussitôt conseil avec les Hérodiens contre lui, en vue de le perdre.	6 Then the Pharisees, going out, immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, as to how they might destroy him.
7 Jésus avec ses disciples se retira vers la mer et une grande multitude le suivit de la Galilée; et de laJudée,	7 But Jesus withdrew with his disciples to the sea. And a great crowd followed him from Galilee and Judea,
8 de Jérusalem, de l'Idumée, de la Transjordane, des environs de Tyr et de Sidon, une grande multitude,ayant entendu tout ce qu'il faisait, vint à lui.	8 and from Jerusalem, and from Idumea and across the Jordan. And those around Tyre and Sidon, upon hearing what he was doing, came to him in a great multitude.
9 Et il dit à ses disciples qu'une petite barque fût tenue à sa disposition, à cause de la foule, pour qu'ilsne l'écrasent pas.	9 And he told his disciples that a small boat would be useful to him, because of the crowd, lest they press upon him.
10 Car il en guérit beaucoup, si bien que tous ceux qui avaient des infirmités se jetaient sur lui pour letoucher.	10 For he healed so many, that as many of them as had wounds would rush toward him in order to touch him.
11 Et les esprits impurs, lorsqu'ils le voyaient, se jetaient à ses pieds et criaient en disant: "Tu es le Filsde Dieu!"	11 And the unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell prostrate before him. And they cried out, saying,
12 Et il leur enjoignait avec force de ne pas le faire connaître.	12 “You are the Son of God.” And he strongly admonished them, lest they make him known.
13 Puis il gravit la montagne et il appelle à lui ceux qu'il voulait. Ils vinrent à lui,	13 And ascending onto a mountain, he called to himself those whom he willed, and they came to him.
14 et il en institua Douze pour être ses compagnons et pour les envoyer prêcher,	14 And he acted so that the twelve would be with him, and so that he might send them out to preach.
15 avec pouvoir de chasser les démons.	15 And he gave them authority to cure infirmities, and to cast out demons:
16 Il institua donc les Douze, et il donna à Simon le nom de Pierre,	16 and he imposed on Simon the name Peter;
17 puis Jacques, le fils de Zébédée, et Jean, le frère de Jacques, auxquels il donna le nom de Boanergès,c'est-à-dire fils du tonnerre,	17 and also he imposed on James of Zebedee, and John the brother of James, the name ‘Boanerges,’ that is, ‘Sons of Thunder;’
18 puis André, Philippe, Barthélemy, Matthieu, Thomas, Jacques, le fils d'Alphée, Thaddée, Simon leZélé,	18 and Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James of Alphaeus, and Thaddeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 et Judas Iscarioth, celui-là même qui le livra.	19 and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.
20 Il vient à la maison et de nouveau la foule se rassemble, au point qu'ils ne pouvaient pas mêmemanger de pain.	20 And they went to a house, and the crowd gathered together again, so much so that they were not even able to eat bread.
21 Et les siens, l'ayant appris, partirent pour se saisir de lui, car ils disaient: "Il a perdu le sens."	21 And when his own had heard of it, they went out to take hold of him. For they said: “Because he has gone mad.”
22 Et les scribes qui étaient descendus de Jérusalem disaient: "Il est possédé de Béelzéboul", et encore:"C'est par le prince des démons qu'il expulse les démons."	22 And the scribes who had descended from Jerusalem said, “Because he has Beelzebub, and because by the prince of demons does he cast out demons.”
23 Les ayant appelés près de lui, il leur disait en paraboles: "Comment Satan peut-il expulser Satan?	23 And having called them together, he spoke to them in parables: “How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Si un royaume est divisé contre lui-même, ce royaume-là ne peut subsister.	24 For if a kingdom is divided against itself, that kingdom is not able to stand.
25 Et si une maison est divisée contre elle-même, cette maison-là ne pourra se maintenir.	25 And if a house is divided against itself, that house is not able to stand.
26 Or, si Satan s'est dressé contre lui-même et s'est divisé, il ne peut pas tenir, il est fini.	26 And if Satan has risen up against himself, he would be divided, and he would not be able to stand; instead he reaches the end.
27 Mais nul ne peut pénétrer dans la maison d'un homme fort et piller ses affaires s'il n'a d'abord ligotécet homme fort, et alors il pillera sa maison.	27 No one is able to plunder the goods of a strong man, having entered into the house, unless he first binds the strong man, and then he shall plunder his house.
28 "En vérité, je vous le dis, tout sera remis aux enfants des hommes, les péchés et les blasphèmes tantqu'il en auront proféré;	28 Amen I say to you, that all sins will be forgiven the sons of men, and the blasphemies by which they will have blasphemed.
29 mais quiconque aura blasphémé contre l'Esprit Saint n'aura jamais de rémission: il est coupable d'unefaute éternelle."	29 But he who will have blasphemed against the Holy Spirit shall not have forgiveness in eternity; instead he shall be guilty of an eternal offense.”
30 C'est qu'ils disaient: "Il est possédé d'un esprit impur."	30 For they said: “He has an unclean spirit.”
31 Sa mère et ses frères arrivent et, se tenant dehors, ils le firent appeler.	31 And his mother and brothers arrived. And standing outside, they sent to him, calling him.
32 Il y avait une foule assise autour de lui et on lui dit: "Voilà que ta mère et tes frères et tes soeurs sontlà dehors qui te cherchent."	32 And the crowd was sitting around him. And they said to him, “Behold, your mother and your brothers are outside, seeking you.”
33 Il leur répond: "Qui est ma mère? Et mes frères?"	33 And responding to them, he said, “Who is my mother and my brothers?”
34 Et, promenant son regard sur ceux qui étaient assis en rond autour de lui, il dit: "Voici ma mère etmes frères.	34 And looking around at those who were sitting all around him, he said: “Behold, my mother and my brothers.
35 Quiconque fait la volonté de Dieu, celui-là m'est un frère et une soeur et une mère."	35 For whoever has done the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister and mother.”
