1 Il entra de nouveau dans une synagogue, et il y avait là un homme qui avait la main desséchée.	1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.
2 Et ils l'épiaient pour voir s'il allait le guérir, le jour du sabbat, afin de l'accuser.	2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.
3 Il dit à l'homme qui avait la main sèche: "Lève-toi, là, au milieu."	3 And he saith unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.
4 Et il leur dit: "Est-il permis, le jour du sabbat, de faire du bien plutôt que de faire du mal, de sauverune vie plutôt que de la tuer?" Mais eux se taisaient.	4 And he saith unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.
5 Promenant alors sur eux un regard de colère, navré de l'endurcissement de leur coeur, il dit à l'homme:"Etends la main." Il l'étendit et sa main fut remise en état.	5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he saith unto the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.
6 Etant sortis, les Pharisiens tenaient aussitôt conseil avec les Hérodiens contre lui, en vue de le perdre.	6 And the Pharisees went forth, and straightway took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.
7 Jésus avec ses disciples se retira vers la mer et une grande multitude le suivit de la Galilée; et de laJudée,	7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,
8 de Jérusalem, de l'Idumée, de la Transjordane, des environs de Tyr et de Sidon, une grande multitude,ayant entendu tout ce qu'il faisait, vint à lui.	8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.
9 Et il dit à ses disciples qu'une petite barque fût tenue à sa disposition, à cause de la foule, pour qu'ilsne l'écrasent pas.	9 And he spake to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should throng him.
10 Car il en guérit beaucoup, si bien que tous ceux qui avaient des infirmités se jetaient sur lui pour letoucher.	10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.
11 Et les esprits impurs, lorsqu'ils le voyaient, se jetaient à ses pieds et criaient en disant: "Tu es le Filsde Dieu!"	11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.
12 Et il leur enjoignait avec force de ne pas le faire connaître.	12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.
13 Puis il gravit la montagne et il appelle à lui ceux qu'il voulait. Ils vinrent à lui,	13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.
14 et il en institua Douze pour être ses compagnons et pour les envoyer prêcher,	14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
15 avec pouvoir de chasser les démons.	15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
16 Il institua donc les Douze, et il donna à Simon le nom de Pierre,	16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;
17 puis Jacques, le fils de Zébédée, et Jean, le frère de Jacques, auxquels il donna le nom de Boanergès,c'est-à-dire fils du tonnerre,	17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
18 puis André, Philippe, Barthélemy, Matthieu, Thomas, Jacques, le fils d'Alphée, Thaddée, Simon leZélé,	18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 et Judas Iscarioth, celui-là même qui le livra.	19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
20 Il vient à la maison et de nouveau la foule se rassemble, au point qu'ils ne pouvaient pas mêmemanger de pain.	20 And the multitude cometh together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.
21 Et les siens, l'ayant appris, partirent pour se saisir de lui, car ils disaient: "Il a perdu le sens."	21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.
22 Et les scribes qui étaient descendus de Jérusalem disaient: "Il est possédé de Béelzéboul", et encore:"C'est par le prince des démons qu'il expulse les démons."	22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casteth he out devils.
23 Les ayant appelés près de lui, il leur disait en paraboles: "Comment Satan peut-il expulser Satan?	23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?
24 Si un royaume est divisé contre lui-même, ce royaume-là ne peut subsister.	24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.
25 Et si une maison est divisée contre elle-même, cette maison-là ne pourra se maintenir.	25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.
26 Or, si Satan s'est dressé contre lui-même et s'est divisé, il ne peut pas tenir, il est fini.	26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but hath an end.
27 Mais nul ne peut pénétrer dans la maison d'un homme fort et piller ses affaires s'il n'a d'abord ligotécet homme fort, et alors il pillera sa maison.	27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.
28 "En vérité, je vous le dis, tout sera remis aux enfants des hommes, les péchés et les blasphèmes tantqu'il en auront proféré;	28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme:
29 mais quiconque aura blasphémé contre l'Esprit Saint n'aura jamais de rémission: il est coupable d'unefaute éternelle."	29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation:
30 C'est qu'ils disaient: "Il est possédé d'un esprit impur."	30 Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit.
31 Sa mère et ses frères arrivent et, se tenant dehors, ils le firent appeler.	31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.
32 Il y avait une foule assise autour de lui et on lui dit: "Voilà que ta mère et tes frères et tes soeurs sontlà dehors qui te cherchent."	32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren without seek for thee.
33 Il leur répond: "Qui est ma mère? Et mes frères?"	33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?
34 Et, promenant son regard sur ceux qui étaient assis en rond autour de lui, il dit: "Voici ma mère etmes frères.	34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!
35 Quiconque fait la volonté de Dieu, celui-là m'est un frère et une soeur et une mère."	35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
