DOUAI-RHEIMS	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Unto the end, for the winepresses, a psalm for the sons of Core.	1 Del maestro de coro. Con la cítara de Gat. De los hijos de Coré. Salmo.
2 How lovely are thy tabernacles, O Lord of host!	2 ¡Qué amable es tu Morada, Señor del Universo!
3 my soul longeth and fainteth for the courts of the Lord. My heart and my flesh have rejoiced in the living God.	3 Mi alma se consume de deseos por los atrios del Señor; mi corazón y mi carne claman ansiosos por el Dios viviente.
4 For the sparrow hath found herself a house, and the turtle a nest for herself where she may lay her young ones: Thy altars, O Lord of hosts, my king and my God.	4 Hasta el gorrión encontró una casa, y la golondrina tiene un nido donde poner sus pichones, junto a tus altares, Señor del universo, mi Rey y mi Dios.
5 Blessed are they that dwell in thy house, O Lord: they shall praise thee for ever and ever.	5 ¡Felices los que habitan en tu Casa y te alaban sin cesar!
6 Blessed is the man whose help is from thee: in his heart he hath disposed to ascend by steps,	6 ¡Felices los que encuentran su fuerza en ti, al emprender la peregrinación!
7 in the vale of tears, in the place which be hath set.	7 Al pasar por el valle árido, lo convierten en un oasis; caen las primeras lluvias, y lo cubren de bendiciones;
8 For the lawgiver shall give a blessing, they shall go from virtue to virtue: the God of gods shall be seen in Sion.	8 ellos avanzan con vigor siempre creciente hasta contemplar a Dios en Sión.
9 O Lord God of hosts, hear my prayer: give ear, O God of Jacob.	9 Señor del universo, oye mi plegaria, escucha, Dios de Jacob;
10 Behold, O God our protector: and look on the face of thy Christ.	10 protege, Dios, a nuestro Escudo y mira el rostro de tu Ungido.
11 For better is one day in thy courts above thousands. I have chosen to be an abject in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners.	11 Vale más un día en tus atrios que mil en otra parte; yo prefiero el umbral de la Casa de mi Dios antes que vivir entre malvados.
12 For God loveth mercy and truth: the Lord will give grace and glory.	12 Porque el Señor es sol y escudo; Dios da la gracia y la gloria, y no niega sus bienes a los que proceden con rectitud.
13 He will not deprive of good things them that walk in innocence : O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.	13 ¡Señor del universo, feliz el hombre que confía en ti!
