5 I figliuoli di Iafet furono Gomer, e Magog, e Madai, e Iavan, e Tubal, e Mesec, e Tiras.	5 The sons of Japheth; Gomer, and Magog, and Madai, and Javan, and Tubal, and Meshech, and Tiras.
6 Ed i figliuoli di Gomer furono Aschenaz, e Rifat, e Togarma.	6 And the sons of Gomer; Ashchenaz, and Riphath, and Togarmah.
7 Ed i figliuoli di Iavan furono Elisa e Tarsis, Chittim e Dodanim.	7 And the sons of Javan; Elishah, and Tarshish, Kittim, and Dodanim.
8 Ed i figliuoli di Cam furono Cus, e Misraim, e Put, e Canaan.	8 The sons of Ham; Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 Ed i figliuoli di Cus furono Seba, ed Havila, e Sabta, e Raema, e Sabteca. Ed i figliuoli di Raema furono Seba e Dedan.	9 And the sons of Cush; Seba, and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecha. And the sons of Raamah; Sheba, and Dedan.
10 Or Cus generò Nimrod. Esso fu il primo che si fece potente nella terra.	10 And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be mighty upon the earth.
11 E Misraim generò i Ludei, e gli Anamei, e i Lehabei, ed i Naftuhei;	11 And Mizraim begat Ludim, and Anamim, and Lehabim, and Naphtuhim,
12 ed i Patrusei, ed i Casluhei da’ quali sono usciti i Filistei, ed i Caftorei.	12 And Pathrusim, and Casluhim, (of whom came the Philistines,) and Caphthorim.
13 E Canaan generò Sidon, suo primogenito, ed Het,	13 And Canaan begat Zidon his firstborn, and Heth,
14 ed i Gebusei, e gli Amorrei, ed i Ghirgasei,	14 The Jebusite also, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 e gli Hivvei, e gli Archei, ed i Sinei,	15 And the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 e gli Arvadei, e i Semarei, e gli Hamatei.	16 And the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 I figliuoli di Sem furono Elam, ed Assur, ed Arfacsad, e Lud, ed Aram, ed Us, ed Hul, e Gheter, e Mesec.	17 The sons of Shem; Elam, and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Ed Arfacsad generò Sela, e Sela generò Eber.	18 And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19 E ad Eber nacquero due figliuoli; il nome dell’uno fu Peleg; perciocchè al suo tempo la terra fu divisa; e il nome del suo fratello fu Ioctan.	19 And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of the one was Peleg; because in his days the earth was divided: and his brother's name was Joktan.
20 E Ioctan generò Almodad e Selef, ed Asarmavet, e Iera,	20 And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 ed Hadoram, ed Uzal, e Dicla,	21 Hadoram also, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 ed Ebal, ed Abimael, e Seba, ed Ofir, ed Havila, e Iobab.	22 And Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Tutti costoro furono figliuoli di Ioctan.	23 And Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
24 SEM, Arfacsad, Sela,	24 Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu, Serug,	25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Nahor, Tare,	26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 Abramo, che è Abrahamo	27 Abram; the same is Abraham.
28 I figliuoli di Abrahamo furono Isacco, ed Ismaele.	28 The sons of Abraham; Isaac, and Ishmael.
29 Queste sono le lor generazioni. Il primogenito d’Israele fu Nebaiot; poi ebbe Chedar, ed Adbeel, e Mibsam,	29 These are their generations: The firstborn of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar, and Adbeel, and Mibsam,

31 Ietur, e Nafis, e Chedma. Questi furono i figliuoli d’Ismaele.	31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
32 Ora, quant’è a’ figliuoli di Chetura, concubina di Abrahamo, essa partorì Zimran, e Iocsan, e Medan, e Madian, ed Isbac, e Sua. Ed i figliuoli di Iocsan furono Seba, e Dadan.	32 Now the sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan; Sheba, and Dedan.
33 Ed i figliuoli di Madian furono Efa, ed Efer, ed Hanoc, ed Abida, ed Eldaa. Tutti questi furono figliuoli di Chetura.	33 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.
34 Ora Abrahamo generò Isacco. Ed i figliuoli d’Isacco furono Esaù ed Israele.	34 And Abraham begat Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.
35 I figliuoli di Esaù furono Elifaz, e Reuel, e Ieus, e Ialem, e Cora.	35 The sons of Esau; Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36 I figliuoli di Elifaz furono Teman, ed Omar, e Sefi, e Gatem, e Chenaz, e Timna, ed Amalec.	36 The sons of Eliphaz; Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 I figliuoli di Reuel furono Nahat, Zera, Samma, e Mizza.	37 The sons of Reuel; Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 Ed i figliuoli di Seir furono Lotan, e Sobal, e Sibon, ed Ana, e Dison, ed Eser, e Disan.	38 And the sons of Seir; Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezer, and Dishan.
39 Ed i figliuoli di Lotan furono Hori, ed Homam; e la sorella di Lotan fu Timna.	39 And the sons of Lothan; Hori, and Homam: and Timna was Lotan's sister.
40 I figliuoli di Sobal furono Alian, e Manahat, ed Ebal, e Sefi, ed Onam. Ed i figliuoli di Sibon furono Aia, ed Ana.	40 The sons of Shobal; Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon; Aiah, and Anah.
41 Il figliuolo di Ana fu Dison. Ed i figliuoli di Dison furono Hamran, ed Esban, ed Itran, e Cheran.	41 The sons of Anah; Dishon. And the sons of Dishon; Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 I figliuoli di Eser furono Bilham, e Zaavan, e Iaacan. I figliuoli di Disan furono Us, ed Aran.	42 The sons of Ezer; Bilhan, and Zavan, and Jakan. The sons of Dishan; Uz, and Aran.
43 Or questi furono i re, che regnarono nel paese di Edom, avanti che regnasse alcun re sopra i figliuoli d’Israele: Bela, figliuolo di Beor; e il nome della sua città era Dinhaba.	43 Now these are the kings that reigned in the land of Edom before any king reigned over the children of Israel; Bela the son of Beor: and the name of his city was Dinhabah.
44 Poi, morto Bela, Iobab, figliuolo di Zera, da Bosra, regnò in luogo suo.	44 And when Bela was dead, Jobab the son of Zerah of Bozrah reigned in his stead.
45 E, morto Iobab, Husam, del paese de’ Temaniti, regnò in luogo suo.	45 And when Jobab was dead, Husham of the land of the Temanites reigned in his stead.
46 E, morto Husam, Hadad, figliuolo di Bedad, il quale percosse i Madianiti nel territorio di Moab, regnò in luogo suo; e il nome della sua città era Avit.	46 And when Husham was dead, Hadad the son of Bedad, which smote Midian in the field of Moab, reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Avith.
47 Poi, morto Hadad, Samla, da Masreca, regnò in luogo suo.	47 And when Hadad was dead, Samlah of Masrekah reigned in his stead.
48 E, morto Samla, Saul, da Rehobot del Fiume, regnò in luogo suo.	48 And when Samlah was dead, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river reigned in his stead.
49 E, morto Saul, Baal-hanan, figliuolo di Acbor, regnò in luogo suo.	49 And when Shaul was dead, Baal-hanan the son of Achbor reigned in his stead.
50 E, morto Baal-hanan, Hadad regnò in luogo suo; e il nome della sua città era Pai; e il nome della sua moglie era Mehetabeel, figliuola di Matred, figliuola di Mezahab.	50 And when Baal-hanan was dead, Hadad reigned in his stead: and the name of his city was Pai; and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Mezahab.
51 Poi, morto Hadad, vi furono de’ duchi in Edom; il duca Timna, il duca Alia, il duca Ietet,	51 Hadad died also. And the dukes of Edom were; duke Timnah, duke Aliah, duke Jetheth,
52 il duca Oholibama, il duca Ela, il duca Pinon,	52 Duke Aholibamah, duke Elah, duke Pinon,
53 il duca Chenaz, il duca Teman, il duca Mibsar,	53 Duke Kenaz, duke Teman, duke Mibzar,
54 il duca Magdiel, il duca Iram. Questi furono i duchi di Edom	54 Duke Magdiel, duke Iram. These are the dukes of Edom.
