| 1 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, et lui dit : | 1 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 2 Parle aux enfants d'Israël, et dis-leur : Lorsqu'un homme ou une femme auront fait un vœu de se sanctifier, et qu'ils auront voulu se consacrer au Seigneur, | 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD: |
| 3 ils s'abstiendront de vin et de tout ce qui peut enivrer ; ils ne boiront point de vinaigre fait avec du vin, ou avec tout autre breuvage, ni rien de ce qui se tire des raisins ; ils ne mangeront point de raisins nouvellement cueillis, ni de raisins secs. | 3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried. |
| 4 Pendant tout le temps qu'ils seront consacrés au Seigneur, selon le vœu qu'ils lui auront fait, ils ne mangeront rien de tout ce qui peut sortir de la vigne, depuis le raisin sec jusqu'à un pépin. | 4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk. |
| 5 Pendant tout le temps de la séparation (du Nazaréen), le rasoir ne passera point sur sa tête, jusqu'à ce que les jours de sa consécration au Seigneur soient accomplis. Il sera saint, laissant croître les cheveux de sa tête. | 5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no rasor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separateth himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow. |
| 6 Tant que durera le temps de sa consécration il ne s'approchera point d'un mort, | 6 All the days that he separateth himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body. |
| 7 et il ne se souillera point en assistant aux funérailles même de son père, ou de sa mère, ou de son frère, ou de sa sœur, parce que la consécration de son Dieu est sur sa tête. | 7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head. |
| 8 Pendant tout le temps de sa séparation il sera (saint et) consacré au Seigneur. | 8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD. |
| 9 Que (Mais) si quelqu'un meurt subitement devant lui, la consécration de sa tête sera souillée ; il se (la) fera raser aussitôt, ce jour même de sa purification, et se rasera encore le septième. | 9 And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he hath defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it. |
| 10 Le huitième jour il offrira au prêtre, à l'entrée du tabernacle de l'alliance, deux tourterelles, ou deux petits de colombe. | 10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: |
| 11 Et le prêtre en immolera l'un pour le péché, et l'autre en holocauste, et il priera pour lui, parce qu'il a péché et s'est souillé par la vue de ce mort ; il sanctifiera de nouveau sa tête en ce jour-là ; | 11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day. |
| 12 et il consacrera au Seigneur les jours de sa séparation, offrant un agneau d'un an pour son péché ; en sorte néanmoins que les jours précédents soient annulés, parce que sa consécration a été souillée. | 12 And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled. |
| 13 Telle est la loi pour la consécration (du Nazaréen). Lorsque les jours pour lesquels il s'est obligé par son vœu seront accomplis, le prêtre l'amènera à l'entrée du tabernacle de l'alliance, | 13 And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: |
| 14 et il présentera au Seigneur son oblation : un agneau d'un an et sans tache pour l'holocauste ; une brebis d'un an et sans tache pour le péché, et un bélier sans tache pour l'hostie pacifique. | 14 And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings, |
| 15 Il offrira aussi une corbeille de pains sans levain pétris avec de l'huile, et des tourteaux (beignets) sans levain arrosés d'huile par-dessus, accompagnés de leurs offrandes de liquide (libations de chacune de ces choses). | 15 And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their meat offering, and their drink offerings. |
| 16 Le prêtre les offrira devant le Seigneur, et il sacrifiera l'hostie pour le péché, aussi bien que celle de l'holocauste. | 16 And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering: |
| 17 Il immolera encore au Seigneur le bélier pour l'hostie pacifique, et il offrira en même temps la corbeille de pains sans levain, avec les offrandes de liquide (libations) qui doivent s'y joindre selon la coutume. | 17 And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his meat offering, and his drink offering. |
| 18 Alors la chevelure du nazaréen consacrée à Dieu sera rasée devant la porte du tabernacle de l'alliance ; le prêtre prendra ses cheveux et les brûlera sur le feu qui aura été mis sous le sacrifice des pacifiques, | 18 And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings. |
| 19 et il mettra entre les mains du nazaréen, après que sa tête aura été rasée, l'épaule cuite du bélier, un tourteau (beignet) sans levain pris dans la corbeille, et un gâteau également sans levain. | 19 And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven: |
| 20 Et le nazaréen (il) les remettra entre les mains du prêtre, qui les élèvera devant le Seigneur ; et ayant été sanctifiés, ils appartiendront au prêtre, comme la poitrine qu'on a commandé de séparer, et la cuisse. Le nazaréen peut (pourra) ensuite boire du vin. | 20 And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine. |
| 21 C'est là la loi du nazaréen lorsqu'il aura voué son oblation au Seigneur pour le temps de sa consécration, sans compter les autres sacrifices qu'il pourra faire de lui-même (ce que sa main trouvera, note). Il exécutera, pour achever (la perfection de) sa sanctification, ce qu'il avait arrêté dans son esprit lorsqu'il fit son vœu. | 21 This is the law of the Nazarite who hath vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation. |
| 22 Le Seigneur parla encore à Moïse, et lui dit : | 22 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, |
| 23 Dis à Aaron et à ses fils : C'est ainsi que vous bénirez les enfants d'Israël, et vous leur direz : | 23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, On this wise ye shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them, |
| 24 Que le Seigneur te bénisse, et qu'il te conserve. | 24 The LORD bless thee, and keep thee: |
| 25 Que le Seigneur te montre son visage, et qu'il ait pitié de toi. | 25 The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: |
| 26 Que le Seigneur tourne son visage vers toi, et qu'il te donne la paix. | 26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace. |
| 27 C'est ainsi qu'ils invoqueront mon nom sur les enfants d'Israël, et je les bénirai. | 27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel; and I will bless them. |
