1 Cantique de David: Lorsqu'on bâtissait la maison après la captivité. Chantez au Seigneur un cantique nouveau; * chantez au Seigneur, toute la terre.	1 O sing to the LORD a new song; sing to the LORD, all the earth!
2 Chantez au Seigneur, et bénissez Son Nom, * annoncez de jour en jour Son salut.	2 Sing to the LORD, bless his name; tell of his salvation from day to day.
3 Annoncez Sa gloire parmi les nations, * Ses merveilles parmi tous les peuples.	3 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples!
4 Car le Seigneur est grand et infiniment louable; * Il est plus redoutable que tous les dieux.	4 For great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised; he is to be feared above all gods.
5 Car tous les dieux des nations sont des démons; * mais le Seigneur a fait les cieux.	5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols; but the LORD made the heavens.
6 La louange et la splendeur sont devant Lui; * la sainteté et la magnificence dans Son sanctuaire.	6 Honor and majesty are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
7 Offrez au Seigneur, familles des nations, offrez au Seigneur la gloire et l'honneur; *	7 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!
8 offrez au Seigneur la gloire due à Son Nom. Prenez des victimes et entrez dans Ses parvis; *	8 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!
9 adorez le Seigneur dans Son saint tabernacle. Que toute la terre tremble devant Sa face. *	9 Worship the LORD in holy array; tremble before him, all the earth!
10 Dites parmi les nations que le Seigneur a établi Son règne. Car Il a affermi toute la terre, qui ne sera point ébranlée; * Il jugera les peuples selon l'équité.	10 Say among the nations, "The LORD reigns! Yea, the world is established, it shall never be moved; he will judge the peoples with equity."
11 Que les Cieux se réjouissent, et que la terre tressaille d'allégresse; * que la mer s'agite avec ce qu'elle renferme.	11 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let the sea roar, and all that fills it;
12 Les champs seront dans la joie avec tout ce qu'ils contiennent. Alors tous les arbres des forêts tressailliront	12 let the field exult, and everything in it! Then shall all the trees of the wood sing for joy
13 en présence du Seigneur, car Il vient; * Il vient pour juger la terre. Il jugera toute la terre avec équité * et les peuples selon Sa vérité.	13 before the LORD, for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples with his truth.
