1 And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:	1 Il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aronne e disse:
2 “Each one shall make camp, by their troops, as well as by their insignia and standards, and by the houses of their kinships, all around the tabernacle of the covenant.”	2 «Gli Israeliti si accamperanno ciascuno vicino alla sua insegna con i simboli dei loro casati paterni; si accamperanno di fronte alla tenda del convegno, tutt'intorno.
3 To the east, Judah shall fix his tents, by the companies of his army. And the leader of his sons shall be Nahshon the son of Amminadab.	3 Si accamperanno a oriente, verso levante, quelli dell'insegna dell'accampamento di Giuda secondo le loro schiere. Principe per i figli di Giuda è Nacson, figlio di Amminadàb,
4 And the entire total of the fighting men from his stock was seventy-four thousand six hundred.	4 e la sua schiera è di settantaquattromilaseicento censiti.
5 Beside him, those of the tribe of Issachar were encamped, whose leader was Nathanael the son of Zuar.	5 Si accamperanno accanto a lui quelli della tribù di Ìssacar. Principe per i figli di Ìssacar è Netanèl, figlio di Suar,
6 And the entire number of his fighting men was fifty-four thousand four hundred.	6 e la sua schiera è di cinquantaquattromilaquattrocento censiti.
7 In the tribe of Zebulon, the leader was Eliab the son of Helon.	7 Poi la tribù di Zàbulon. Principe per i figli di Zàbulon è Eliàb, figlio di Chelon,
8 All the army of fighting men from his stock were fifty-seven thousand four hundred.	8 e la sua schiera è di cinquantasettemilaquattrocento censiti.
9 All who were numbered in the camp of Judah were one hundred eighty-six thousand four hundred. And these, by their companies, shall go forth first.	9 Il totale dei censiti per l’accampamento di Giuda è di centoottantaseimilaquattrocento uomini, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere. Leveranno le tende per primi.
10 In the camp of the sons of Ruben, toward the south side, the leader shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.	10 L'insegna dell'accampamento di Ruben, suddiviso secondo le sue schiere, starà a mezzogiorno. Principe per i figli di Ruben è Elisùr, figlio di Sedeùr,
11 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty-six thousand five hundred.	11 e la sua schiera è di quarantaseimilacinquecento censiti.
12 Beside him, those of the tribe of Simeon were encamped, whose leader was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.	12 Si accamperanno accanto a lui quelli della tribù di Simeone. Principe per i figli di Simeone è Selumièl, figlio di Surisaddài,
13 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were fifty-nine thousand three hundred.	13 e la sua schiera è di cinquantanovemilatrecento censiti.
14 In the tribe of Gad, the leader was Eliasaph the son of Reuel.	14 Poi la tribù di Gad: principe per i figli di Gad è Eliasàf, figlio di Deuèl,
15 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty-five thousand six hundred fifty.	15 e la sua schiera è di quarantacinquemilaseicentocinquanta censiti.
16 All who were counted in the camp of Ruben were one hundred fifty thousand and one thousand four hundred fifty, by their companies. These shall advance in the second place.	16 Il totale dei censiti per l’accampamento di Ruben è di centocinquantunmilaquattrocentocinquanta uomini, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere. Leveranno le tende per secondi.
17 But the tabernacle of the testimony shall be lifted up by the officers of the Levites and their companies. In the manner in which it is set up, so also shall it be taken down. Each one shall advance according to their places and ranks.	17 Poi si leverà la tenda del convegno con l'accampamento dei leviti in mezzo agli altri accampamenti. Come si erano accampati, così si leveranno, ciascuno al suo posto, suddivisi secondo le loro insegne.
18 On the west side, there shall be the camp of the sons of Ephraim, whose leader was Elishama the son of Ammihud.	18 L’insegna dell’accampamento di Èfraim, suddiviso secondo le sue schiere, starà a occidente. Principe per i figli di Èfraim è Elisamà, figlio di Ammiùd,
19 The entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty thousand five hundred.	19 la sua schiera è di quarantamilacinquecento censiti.
20 And with them was the tribe of the sons of Manasseh, whose leader was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.	20 Accanto a lui la tribù di Manasse. Principe per i figli di Manasse è Gamlièl, figlio di Pedasùr,
21 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were thirty-two thousand two hundred.	21 e la sua schiera è di trentaduemiladuecento censiti.
22 In the tribe of the sons of Benjamin, the leader was Abidan the son of Gideoni.	22 Poi la tribù di Beniamino. Principe per i figli di Beniamino è Abidàn, figlio di Ghideonì,
23 And the entire army of his fighting men, who were counted, were thirty-five thousand four hundred.	23 e la sua schiera è di trentacinquemilaquattrocento censiti.
24 All who were numbered in the camp of Ephraim were one hundred eight thousand one hundred, by their companies. These shall advance third.	24 Il totale dei censiti per l'accampamento di Èfraim è di centoottomilacento uomini, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere. Leveranno le tende per terzi.
25 Toward the north side, the sons of Dan were encamped, whose leader was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.	25 L'insegna dell'accampamento di Dan, suddiviso secondo le sue schiere, starà a settentrione. Principe per i figli di Dan è Achièzer, figlio di Ammisaddài,
26 The entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were sixty-two thousand seven hundred.	26 e la sua schiera è di sessantaduemilasettecento censiti.
27 Beside him, those of the tribe of Asher fixed their tents, whose leader was Pagiel the son of Ochran.	27 Si accamperanno accanto a lui quelli della tribù di Aser. Principe per i figli di Aser è Paghièl, figlio di Ocran,
28 The entire army of his fighting men, who were numbered, were forty thousand and one thousand five hundred.	28 e la sua schiera è di quarantunmilacinquecento censiti.
29 From the tribe of the sons of Naphtali, the leader was Ahira the son of Enan.	29 Poi la tribù di Nèftali. Principe per i figli di Nèftali è Achirà, figlio di Enan,
30 The entire army of his fighting men were fifty-three thousand four hundred.	30 e la sua schiera è di cinquantatremilaquattrocento censiti.
31 All who were numbered in the camp of Dan were one hundred fifty-seven thousand six hundred; and these shall advance at the very end.	31 Il totale dei censiti per l'accampamento di Dan è dunque centocinquantasettemilaseicento. Leveranno le tende per ultimi, suddivisi secondo le loro insegne».
32 This is the number of the sons of Israel, of their army divided by the houses of their kinships and their companies: six hundred three thousand five hundred fifty.	32 Questi sono i censiti degli Israeliti secondo i loro casati paterni, tutti i censiti degli accampamenti, suddivisi secondo le loro schiere: seicentotremilacinquecentocinquanta.
33 But the Levites were not numbered among the sons of Israel. For so the Lord had instructed Moses.	33 Ma i leviti non furono censiti in mezzo agli Israeliti, come il Signore aveva comandato a Mosè.
34 And the sons of Israel acted according to all the things that the Lord had commanded. They were encamped by their companies, and they advanced by the families and houses of their fathers.	34 Gli Israeliti eseguirono ogni cosa come il Signore aveva comandato a Mosè. Così si accampavano secondo le loro insegne e così levavano le tende, ciascuno secondo la sua famiglia in base al casato dei suoi padri.
