1 Estas son las etapas del viaje de los hijos de Israel que salieron de Egipto, por escuadrones, a las órdenes de Moisés y Aarón.	1 These were the stages of the journey made by the Israelites when they left Egypt in their companiesunder the leadership of Moses and Aaron.
2 Moisés, por orden del Señor, registró los puntos desde donde partían, etapa por etapa. Estas fueron las etapas, con indicación de los puntos de partida.	2 Moses recorded their starting-points in writing whenever they moved on at Yahweh's order. Thestages, from one starting-point to another, were as fol ows:
3 Partieron de Ramsés el mes primero. El día quince del mes primero, al día siguiente de la Pascua, salieron los hijos de Israel, la mano en alto, ante la mirada de todos los egipcios.	3 They left Rameses in the first month. It was the fifteenth day of the first month, the day following thePassover, when the Israelites confidently set out, under the eyes of al Egypt.
4 Los egipcios estaban enterrando a todos sus primogénitos, que habían sido heridos por el Señor, haciendo así justicia de sus dioses.	4 The Egyptians were burying those of their own people whom Yahweh had struck down, all the first-born; Yahweh had carried out his judgement on their gods.
5 Partieron los hijos de Israel de Ramsés y acamparon en Sucot.	5 The Israelites left Rameses and camped at Succoth.
6 Partieron de Sucot y acamparon en Etán, al borde del desierto.	6 Then they left Succoth and encamped at Etham which is on the edge of the desert.
7 Partieron de Etán y se detuvieron en Pi Hajirot, frente a Baal Safón y acamparon delante de Migdol.	7 They left Etham, turned back to Pi-Hahiroth, opposite Baal-Zephon, and encamped before Migdol.
8 Partieron de Pi Hajirot y pasaron por medio del mar hasta el desierto. Anduvieron tres días de camino por el desierto de Etán y acamparon en Mará.	8 They left Pi-Hahiroth, crossed the sea into the desert, and after marching for three days in the desertof Etham they encamped at Marah.
9 Partieron de Mará y llegaron a Elín. En Elín había doce fuentes y setenta palmeras; y acamparon allí.	9 They left Marah and reached Elim. At Elim there were twelve springs of water and seventy palmtrees; they encamped there.
10 Partieron de Elín y acamparon cerca del mar Rojo.	10 They left Elim and encamped by the Sea of Reeds.
11 Partieron del mar Rojo y acamparon en el desierto de Sin.	11 They left the Sea of Reeds and encamped in the desert of Sin.
12 Partieron del desierto de Sin y acamparon en Dofcá.	12 They left the desert of Sin and encamped at Dophkah.
13 Partieron de Dofcá y acamparon en Alús.	13 They left Dophkah and encamped at Alush.
14 Partieron de Alús y acamparon en Refidín, pero no había allí agua para que bebiera la gente.	14 They left Alush and encamped at Rephidim; the people found no drinking water there.
15 Partieron de Refidín y acamparon en el desierto del Sinaí.	15 They left Rephidim and encamped in the desert of Sinai.
16 Partieron del desierto del Sinaí y acamparon en Quibrot Hatavá.	16 They left the desert of Sinai and encamped at Kibroth-ha-Taavah.
17 Partieron de Quibrot Hatavá y acamparon en Jaserot.	17 They left Kibroth-ha-Taavah and encamped at Hazeroth.

19 Partieron de Ritmá y acamparon en Rimón Peres.	19 They left Rithmah and encamped at Rimmon-Perez.

25 Partieron de Jaradá y acamparon en Maquelot.	25 They left Haradah and encamped at Makheloth.

33 Partieron de Jor Guidgad y acamparon en Yotbatá.	33 They left Hor-Gidgad and encamped at Jotbathah.

36 Partieron de Esión Guéber y acamparon en el desierto de Sin, es decir, en Cadés.	36 They left Ezion-Geber and encamped in the desert of Zin, that is, at Kadesh.
37 Partieron de Cadés y acamparon en Hor de la Montaña, en la frontera de la tierra de Edón.	37 They left Kadesh and encamped at Mount Hor, on the borders of the land of Edom.
38 El sacerdote Aarón subió a Hor de la Montaña, por orden del Señor y allí murió, el año cuarenta de la salida de los hijos de Israel de Egipto, el día primero del mes quinto.	38 The priest Aaron went up Mount Hor on Yahweh's orders and died there in the fortieth year of theexodus of the Israelites from Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
39 Tenía Aarón ciento veintitrés años cuando murió en Hor de la Montaña.	39 Aaron was a hundred and twenty-three years old when he died on Mount Hor.
40 (El rey cananeo de Arad, que habitaba en el Negueb, en la tierra de Canaán, se enteró de que llegaban los hijos de Israel).	40 The king of Arad, the Canaanite who lived in the Negeb of Canaan, heard of the Israelites' arrival.
41 Partieron de Hor de la Montaña y acamparon en Salmoná.	41 They left Mount Hor and encamped at Zalmonah.
42 Partieron de Salmoná y acamparon en Punón.	42 They left Zalmonah and encamped at Punon.
43 Partieron de Punón y acamparon en Obot.	43 They left Punon and encamped at Oboth.
44 Partieron de Obot y acamparon en Iyé-Abarín, en la frontera de Moab.	44 They left Oboth and encamped in Moabite territory at Iye-Abarim.
45 Partieron de Iyín y acamparon en Dibón Gad.	45 They left Iyim and encamped at Dibon-Gad.
46 Partieron de Dibón Gad y acamparon en Almón Diblatayin.	46 They left Dibon-Gad and encamped at Almon-Diblathaim.
47 Partieron de Almón Diblatayin y acamparon en los montes de Abarín, frente al Nebo.	47 They left Almon-Diblathaim and encamped in the Abarim mountains facing Nebo.
48 Partieron de los montes de Abarín y acamparon en las estepas de Moab, cerca del Jordán, frente a Jericó.	48 They left the Abarim mountains and encamped on the Plains of Moab, near the Jordan oppositeJericho.
49 Acamparon cerca del Jordán entre Bet Jesimot y Abel Sitín, en las estepas de Moab.	49 They encamped near the Jordan between Beth-ha-Jeshimoth and Abel-ha-Shittim, on the Plains ofMoab.
50 El Señor dijo a Moisés en las estepas de Moab, junto al Jordán, frente a Jericó:	50 Yahweh spoke to Moses on the Plains of Moab, near the Jordan by Jericho, and said:
51 «Di a los hijos de Israel: “Cuando paséis el Jordán para entrar en la tierra de Canaán,	51 'Speak to the Israelites and say: "When you have crossed the Jordan into Canaan,
52 expulsaréis a vuestra llegada a todos los habitantes del país. Destruiréis todas sus imágenes pintadas y sus estatuas de fundición, y demoleréis todos sus santuarios.	52 you wil drive out al the local inhabitants before you. You wil destroy al their painted images, youwil destroy al their metal statues and you wil demolish al their high places.
53 Apoderaos de la tierra y habitad en ella, pues voy a daros todo el país en propiedad.	53 You wil take possession of the country and settle in it, for I have given you the country as yourproperty.
54 La repartiréis a suertes entre vuestros clanes. Al grande le aumentaréis la heredad y al pequeño se la reduciréis. Donde le caiga a cada uno la suerte, allí será su propiedad. Haréis el reparto por tribus.	54 You wil share it out by lot among your clans. To a large clan you wil give a larger heritage, and to asmal er clan you wil give a smal er heritage. Where the lot fal s for each, that wil be his. Your heritage wildepend on the size of your tribe.
55 Pero si no expulsáis a vuestra llegada a los habitantes del país, los que dejéis serán para vosotros espinas en vuestros ojos y aguijones en vuestros costados, y os oprimirán en el país en que vais a habitar	55 If, however, you do not drive out the local inhabitants before you, the ones you al ow to remain wilbe thorns in your eyes and thistles in your sides and wil harass you in the country where you are living,
56 Y yo os trataré a vosotros como había pensado tratarlos a ellos”».	56 and I shal treat you as I intended to treat them." '
