| 3 y ofrezcáis al Señor manjares al fuego en holocausto o sacrificio de comunión, para cumplir un voto, o como ofrenda voluntaria, o con ocasión de vuestras fiestas, ofreciendo así, de vuestros bueyes u ovejas, aroma que aplaca al Señor, | 3 and you make an offering to the Lord, as a holocaust or as a victim, paying your vows, or as a voluntary offering of gifts, or in your solemnities, burning a sweet odor to the Lord, whether from the oxen or from the sheep: |
| 4 el oferente presentará, para su ofrenda al Señor, una oblación de una décima de flor de harina amasada con unos dos litros de aceite. | 4 whoever immolates the victim shall offer a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, the tenth part of an ephah, sprinkled with oil, which shall have the measure of the fourth part of a hin, |
| 5 Harás una libación de unos dos litros de vino por cada cordero, junto con el holocausto o sacrificio de comunión. | 5 and he shall give the same measure of wine, poured out as libations, whether as a holocaust or as a victim. |
| 6 Si es un carnero, la oblación será de dos décimas de flor de harina amasada con unos dos litros y medio de aceite, | 6 With each lamb and each ram, there shall be a sacrifice of fine wheat flour, of two tenths, which shall be sprinkled with one third part of a hin of oil. |
| 7 y la libación, de unos dos litros y medio de vino, que ofrecerás como aroma que aplaca al Señor. | 7 And he shall offer the same measure, one third part of wine, for the libation, as a sweet odor to the Lord. |
| 8 Y si ofreces al Señor un novillo en holocausto o sacrificio, para cumplir un voto, o como sacrificio de comunión, | 8 Yet truly, when you will offer, from the oxen, a holocaust or a victim, in order to fulfill your vow or for peace-offering victims, |
| 9 ofrecerás, además del novillo, una oblación de tres décimas de flor de harina amasada con unos tres litros y medio de aceite, | 9 you shall give, for each ox, three tenths of fine wheat flour, sprinkled with oil, which has the measure of one half of one hin, |
| 10 y una libación de unos tres litros y medio de vino, como manjar al fuego de aroma que aplaca Señor. | 10 and the wine, poured out as libations, shall be of the same measure, as an oblation of most sweet odor to the Lord. |
| 11 Así se hará con cada novillo o carnero, y con las reses menores, cordero o cabrito. | 11 So shall you do |
| 12 Haréis así con cada uno de los que inmoléis, tantos como sean. | 12 for each ox, and ram, and lamb, and young goat. |
| 13 Así hará todo hombre de vuestro pueblo, cuando ofrezca un manjar al fuego como aroma que aplaca al Señor. | 13 Both natives and sojourners |
| 14 Y si reside entre vosotros o entre vuestros descendientes un emigrante, y quiere ofrecer un manjar al fuego como aroma que aplaca al Señor, hará lo mismo que vosotros. | 14 shall offer sacrifices by the same rituals. |
| 15 Una misma es la norma para vosotros y para el emigrante residente. Es ley perpetua para vuestros descendientes. Ante el Señor el emigrante es igual que vosotros. | 15 There shall be one precept and one judgment, as much for yourselves as for newcomers to the land.” |
| 16 Una misma ley y una misma norma regirá para vosotros y para el emigrante que reside entre vosotros”». | 16 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: |
| 17 El Señor habló a Moisés: | 17 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: |
| 18 «Di a los hijos de Israel: “Cuando entréis en la tierra a la que os llevo | 18 When you will arrive in the land which I will give to you, |
| 19 y comáis el pan del país, reservaréis primero la ofrenda para el Señor. | 19 and when you will eat from the bread of that region, you shall separate the first-fruits to the Lord |
| 20 Como primicias de vuestra molienda, reservaréis una torta como ofrenda; la reservaréis como reserva de la era. | 20 from the foods that you eat. Just as you separate the first-fruits of your threshing floors, |
| 21 Reservaréis para el Señor una ofrenda de las primicias de vuestra molienda, por todas vuestras generaciones. | 21 so also shall you give the first-fruits of your cooked grains to the Lord. |
| 22 Cuando dejéis de cumplir por ignorancia alguno de estos preceptos que el Señor ha comunicado a Moisés, | 22 And if, through ignorance, you neglect any of these things, which the Lord has spoken to Moses, |
| 23 algo de lo que el Señor os ha mandado por medio de Moisés, desde que el Señor lo ordenó en adelante, por todas vuestras generaciones, | 23 and which he has commanded through him for you, from the day that he began to command and thereafter, |
| 24 en el caso de que la ignorancia se haya cometido por descuido de toda la comunidad, toda la comunidad ofrecerá en holocausto, como aroma que aplaca al Señor, un novillo, con su oblación y libación según el ritual, y un macho cabrío en sacrificio expiatorio. | 24 and if the multitude will have forgotten to do it, then they shall offer a calf from the herd, a holocaust as a most sweet odor to the Lord, and its sacrifice and libations, just as the ceremonies ask, and a he-goat for sin. |
| 25 El sacerdote hará la expiación por toda la comunidad de los hijos de Israel, y se les perdonará, porque fue un descuido, y han presentado sus ofrendas, como manjar al fuego para el Señor, y su sacrificio expiatorio delante del Señor por su descuido. | 25 And the priest shall pray for the entire multitude of the sons of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them, because they did not sin willfully. Nevertheless, they shall offer incense to the Lord for themselves, and for sin, as well as for their error. |
| 26 Se le perdonará a la comunidad de los hijos de Israel y al emigrante que reside entre ellos, pues el pueblo entero lo ha hecho por ignorancia. | 26 And it shall be forgiven all the people of the sons of Israel, as well as the newcomers who sojourn among them, for it is the culpability of all the people through neglect. |
| 27 En el caso de que sea una sola persona la que ha pecado por ignorancia, ofrecerá una cabrita de un año en sacrificio expiatorio. | 27 But if one soul will have sinned by not knowing, he shall offer a one-year-old she-goat for his sin. |
| 28 El sacerdote hará la expiación delante del Señor por la persona que se ha descuidado con ese pecado de ignorancia y se le perdonará, | 28 And the priest shall pray for him, because he sinned unknowingly before the Lord. And he shall obtain pardon for him, and it will be forgiven him. |
| 29 lo mismo al ciudadano israelita que al emigrante residente entre vosotros: no tendréis más que una sola ley para el que obra por ignorancia. | 29 One law shall be for all who sin by ignorance, as much for natives as for newcomers. |
| 30 Pero el que lo hace a conciencia, sea ciudadano o emigrante, ultraja al Señor. Tal individuo será excluido de su pueblo, | 30 Yet truly, the soul who commits any of these acts through arrogance, whether he is a citizen or a sojourner, because he has rebelled against the Lord, shall perish from among his people. |
| 31 por haber despreciado la palabra del Señor y quebrantado su mandato. Tal individuo será excluido: su pecado pesa sobre él”». | 31 For he has despised the word of the Lord, and he has nullified his precept. For this reason, he shall be destroyed, and he shall bear his iniquity.” |
| 32 Estando los hijos de Israel en el desierto, se sorprendió a un hombre que andaba buscando leña en día de sábado. | 32 And it happened that, when the sons of Israel were in the wilderness, and they had found a man collecting wood on the day of the Sabbath, |
| 33 Los que lo sorprendieron buscando leña lo presentaron a Moisés, a Aarón y a toda la comunidad. | 33 they brought him to Moses and Aaron, and to the whole multitude. |
| 34 Lo arrestaron, porque no estaba determinado lo que había que hacer con él. | 34 And they enclosed him in a prison, not knowing what they should do with him. |
| 35 El Señor dijo a Moisés: «Que muera ese hombre. Que lo apedree toda la comunidad fuera del campamento». | 35 And the Lord said to Moses, “Let that man be put to death; let the entire crowd crush him with stones, outside the camp.” |
| 36 Toda la comunidad lo sacó fuera del campamento y lo apedrearon hasta que murió, según había mandado el Señor a Moisés. | 36 And when they had led him out, they overwhelmed him with stones, and he died, just as the Lord had instructed. |
| 37 El Señor habló a Moisés: | 37 The Lord also said to Moses: |
| 38 «Di a los hijos de Israel que, tanto ellos como sus descendientes, se hagan flecos en los bordes de sus vestidos y pongan en el fleco de sus vestidos un hilo violeta. | 38 “Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall tell them to make for themselves hems at the corners of their cloaks, placing in them ribbons of hyacinth, |
| 39 Llevaréis esos flecos para que, cuando los veáis, os acordéis de todos los preceptos del Señor. Así los cumpliréis y no seguiréis los caprichos de vuestros corazones y de vuestros ojos, que os suelen seducir. | 39 so that, when they see these, they may remember all the commandments of the Lord, and they may not follow their own thoughts and eyes, fornicating in various ways, |
| 40 Así os acordaréis de todos mis mandamientos y los cumpliréis, y seréis hombres consagrados a vuestro Dios. | 40 but instead, they, being more mindful of the precepts of the Lord, may do them and may be holy to their God. |
| 41 Yo soy el Señor, vuestro Dios, que os saqué de Egipto para ser vuestro Dios. Yo soy el Señor, vuestro Dios». | 41 I am the Lord your God, who led you away from the land of Egypt, so that I may be your God.” |
