Oseas 3

1 El Señor me dijo: —Ve otra vez y ama a una mujer, amada por su amigo y adúltera, como ama el Señor a los hijos de Israel, aunque ellos se vuelven hacia otros dioses, que se complacen con las tortas de uvas.	1 And the Lord said to me: “Go yet again, and love a woman, beloved by a friend, yet an adulteress, for so does the Lord love the sons of Israel, yet they look to strange gods, and love the seeds of grapes.”
2 Así pues yo me la compré por quince piezas de plata y más de un quintal de cebada.	2 And I contracted her to me for fifteen silver coins, and for a basket of barley, and half a basket of barley.
3 Y le dije: —Durante mucho tiempo te quedarás reservada para mí. No te prostituirás, no serás de ningún hombre, ni yo me acercaré a ti.	3 And I said to her, “You will wait for me for many days. You will not commit fornication, and you will not be with a man. But I also will wait for you.”
4 Porque largo tiempo quedarán los hijos de Israel sin rey ni autoridad, sin sacrificio ni estela, sin amuletos ni dioses domésticos.	4 For the sons of Israel will sit for many days without a king, and without a leader, and without sacrifice, and without altar, and without priestly vestments, and without religious symbols.
5 Después retornarán los hijos de Israel y buscarán al Señor, su Dios, y a David su rey. Acudirán con temor al Señor y a sus bienes en la sucesión de los días.	5 And after this, the sons of Israel will return, and they will seek the Lord their God and David their king, and they will be terrified by the Lord and by his goodness, in the last days.
