1 The allotment of the descendants of Joseph went from the Jordan by Jericho, east of the waters of Jericho, into the wilderness, going up from Jericho into the hill country to Bethel;	1 Uscì la sorte dei figli di Giuseppe: essa andava dal Giordano di fronte a Gerico verso le acque di Gerico a oriente; seguendo il deserto che da Gerico saliva per la montagna fino a Bethel;
2 then going from Bethel to Luz, it passes along to Ataroth, the territory of the Archites;	2 continuava da Bethel-Luza e passava verso la frontiera degli Architi di Atarot,
3 then it goes down westward to the territory of the Japhletites, as far as the territory of Lower Beth-horon, then to Gezer, and it ends at the sea.	3 poi scendeva a ovest verso la frontiera degli Jafletiti fino alla frontiera di Bethoron Inferiore e a Gezer e terminava al mare.
4 The people of Joseph, Manasseh and Ephraim, received their inheritance.	4 I figli di Giuseppe, Manasse ed Efraim, si divisero l’eredità.
5 The territory of the Ephraimites by their families was as follows: the boundary of their inheritance on the east was Ataroth-addar as far as Upper Beth-horon,	5 Ecco il territorio dei figli di Efraim secondo le loro famiglie. 6 and the boundary goes thence to the sea; on the north is Mich-methath; then on the east the boundary turns round toward Taanath-shiloh, and passes along beyond it on the east to Jan-oah,	6 e terminava al mare.
