1 Now these are the kings of the land, whom the people of Israel defeated, and took possession of their land beyond the Jordan toward the sunrising, from the valley of the Arnon to Mount Hermon, with all the Arabah eastward:	1 Hi sunt reges, quos percusserunt filii Israel et possederunt terram eorum trans Iordanem ad solis ortum, a torrente Arnon usque ad montem Hermon et omnem orientalem plagam Arabae.
2 Sihon king of the Amorites who dwelt at Heshbon, and ruled from Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and from the middle of the valley as far as the river Jabbok, the boundary of the Ammonites, that is, half of Gilead,	2 Sehon rex Amorraeorum, qui habitavit in Hesebon, dominatus est ab Aroer, quae sita est super ripam torrentis Arnon, et a media parte vallis et in dimidia parte Galaad usque ad torrentem Iaboc, qui est terminus filiorum Ammon;
3 and the Arabah to the Sea of Chinneroth eastward, and in the direction of Beth-jeshimoth, to the sea of the Arabah, the Salt Sea, southward to the foot of the slopes of Pisgah;	3 et in Araba usque ad mare Chenereth in oriente et usque ad mare Arabae, quod est mare Salsissimum, ad orientalem plagam in via, quae ducit Bethiesimoth, et in australi parte, quae iacet ad radices Phasga.
4 and Og king of Bashan, one of the remnant of the Rephaim, who dwelt at Ashtaroth and at Edre-i	4 Terminus Og regis Basan de reliquiis Raphaim, qui habitavit in Astharoth et in Edrai,
5 and ruled over Mount Hermon and Salecah and all Bashan to the boundary of the Geshurites and the Ma-acathites, and over half of Gilead to the boundary of Sihon king of Heshbon.	5 et dominatus est in monte Hermon et in Salcha atque in universa Basan usque ad terminos Gesuri et Maachathi et in dimidia parte Galaad usque ad terminos Sehon regis Hesebon.
6 Moses, the servant of the LORD, and the people of Israel defeated them; and Moses the servant of the LORD gave their land for a possession to the Reubenites and the Gadites and the half-tribe of Manasseh.	6 Moyses famulus Domini et filii Israel percusserunt eos; tradiditque terram eorum Moyses in possessionem Rubenitis et Gaditis et dimidiae tribui Manasse.
7 And these are the kings of the land whom Joshua and the people of Israel defeated on the west side of the Jordan, from Baal-gad in the valley of Lebanon to Mount Halak, that rises toward Seir (and Joshua gave their land to the tribes of Israel as a possession according to their allotments,	7 Hi sunt reges terrae, quos percussit Iosue et filii Israel trans Iordanem ad occidentalem plagam, a Baalgad in campo Libani usque ad montem Calvum, qui ascendit in Seir; tradiditque eam Iosue in possessionem tribubus Israel, singulis partes suas,
8 in the hill country, in the lowland, in the Arabah, in the slopes, in the wilderness, and in the Negeb, the land of the Hittites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites):	8 tam in montanis quam in Sephela, in Araba et in declivibus et in solitudine ac in Nageb; Hetthaeus fuit et Amorraeus, Chananaeus et Pherezaeus, Hevaeus et Iebusaeus:
9 the king of Jericho, one; the king of Ai, which is beside Bethel, one;	9 rex Iericho unus, rex Hai, quae est ex latere Bethel, unus,
