Psalms 9

1 To the choirmaster: according to Muth-labben. A Psalm of David. I will give thanks to the LORD with my whole heart; I will tell of all thy wonderful deeds.	1 ^^Начальнику хора. По смерти Лабена. Псалом Давида.^^ (9-2) Буду славить [Тебя], Господи, всем сердцем моим, возвещать все чудеса Твои.
2 I will be glad and exult in thee, I will sing praise to thy name, O Most High.	2 (9-3) Буду радоваться и торжествовать о Тебе, петь имени Твоему, Всевышний.
3 When my enemies turned back, they stumbled and perished before thee.	3 (9-4) Когда враги мои обращены назад, то преткнутся и погибнут пред лицем Твоим,
4 For thou hast maintained my just cause; thou hast sat on the throne giving righteous judgment.	4 (9-5) ибо Ты производил мой суд и мою тяжбу; Ты воссел на престоле, Судия праведный.
5 Thou hast rebuked the nations, thou hast destroyed the wicked; thou hast blotted out their name for ever and ever.	5 (9-6) Ты вознегодовал на народы, погубил нечестивого, имя их изгладил на веки и веки.
6 The enemy have vanished in everlasting ruins; their cities thou hast rooted out; the very memory of them has perished.	6 (9-7) У врага совсем не стало оружия, и города Ты разрушил; погибла память их с ними.
7 But the LORD sits enthroned for ever, he has established his throne for judgment;	7 (9-8) Но Господь пребывает вовек; Он приготовил для суда престол Свой,
8 and he judges the world with righteousness, he judges the peoples with equity.	8 (9-9) и Он будет судить вселенную по правде, совершит суд над народами по правоте.
9 The LORD is a stronghold for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.	9 (9-10) И будет Господь прибежищем угнетенному, прибежищем во времена скорби;
10 And those who know thy name put their trust in thee, for thou, O LORD, hast not forsaken those who seek thee.	10 (9-11) и будут уповать на Тебя знающие имя Твое, потому что Ты не оставляешь ищущих Тебя, Господи.
11 Sing praises to the LORD, who dwells in Zion! Tell among the peoples his deeds!	11 (9-12) Пойте Господу, живущему на Сионе, возвещайте между народами дела Его,
12 For he who avenges blood is mindful of them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted.	12 (9-13) ибо Он взыскивает за кровь; помнит их, не забывает вопля угнетенных.
13 Be gracious to me, O LORD! Behold what I suffer from those who hate me, O thou who liftest me up from the gates of death,	13 (9-14) Помилуй меня, Господи; воззри на страдание мое от ненавидящих меня, --Ты, Который возносишь меня от врат смерти,
14 that I may recount all thy praises, that in the gates of the daughter of Zion I may rejoice in thy deliverance.	14 (9-15) чтобы я возвещал все хвалы Твои во вратах дщери Сионовой: буду радоваться о спасении Твоем.
15 The nations have sunk in the pit which they made; in the net which they hid has their own foot been caught.	15 (9-16) Обрушились народы в яму, которую выкопали; в сети, которую скрыли они, запуталась нога их.
16 The LORD has made himself known, he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. [Higgaion. Selah]	16 (9-17) Познан был Господь по суду, который Он совершил; нечестивый уловлен делами рук своих.
17 The wicked shall depart to Sheol, all the nations that forget God.	17 (9-18) Да обратятся нечестивые в ад, --все народы, забывающие Бога.
18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish for ever.	18 (9-19) Ибо не навсегда забыт будет нищий, и надежда бедных не до конца погибнет.
19 Arise, O LORD! Let not man prevail; let the nations be judged before thee!	19 (9-20) Восстань, Господи, да не преобладает человек, да судятся народы пред лицем Твоим.
20 Put them in fear, O LORD! Let the nations know that they are but men! [Selah]	20 (9-21) Наведи, Господи, страх на них; да знают народы, что человеки они.
