3 For insolent men have risen against me, ruthless men seek my life; they do not set God before them. [Selah]	3 Hilf mir, o Gott, durch deinen Namenund schaffe mir Recht durch deine Kraft!
4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.	4 Höre, o Gott, mein Gebet,vernimm die Worte meines Mundes!
5 He will requite my enemies with evil; in thy faithfulness put an end to them.	5 Denn Freche haben sich gegen mich erhoben,und Gewalttätige trachten mir nach dem Leben:sie haben Gott sich nicht vor Augen gestellt. SELA.
6 With a freewill offering I will sacrifice to thee; I will give thanks to thy name, O LORD, for it is good.	6 Ich weiß: Gott ist mir ein Helfer,der Allherr ist meiner Seele Stütze (oder: meines Lebens Halt).
7 For thou hast delivered me from every trouble, and my eye has looked in triumph on my enemies.	7 Das Böse wird auf meine Feinde zurückfallen:nach deiner Treue vernichte sie!
	8 Dann will ich mit Freuden dir Opfer bringen,will preisen deinen Namen, o HERR, daß er gütig ist;
	9 denn er hat mich aus aller Bedrängnis errettet,und an meinen Feinden hat mein Auge sich geweidet.
