2 Blessed be the name of the LORD from this time forth and for evermore!	2 Sia benedetto il nome del Signore, Da ora in eterno.
3 From the rising of the sun to its setting the name of the LORD is to be praised!	3 Il nome del Signore è lodato Dal sol levante, infino al ponente.
4 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens!	4 Il Signore è eccelso sopra tutte le nazioni, La sua gloria è sopra i cieli.
5 Who is like the LORD our God, who is seated on high,	5 Chi è simile al Signore Iddio nostro, Il quale abita ne’ luoghi altissimi?
6 who looks far down upon the heavens and the earth?	6 Che riguarda abbasso In cielo ed in terra;
7 He raises the poor from the dust, and lifts the needy from the ash heap,	7 Che rileva il misero dalla polvere, Ed innalza il povero dallo sterco;
8 to make them sit with princes, with the princes of his people.	8 Per farlo sedere co’ principi, Co’ principi del suo popolo;
9 He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the LORD!	9 Che fa abitare in famiglia la donna sterile, Facendola diventar lieta madre di figliuoli? Alleluia
