Leviticus 27

1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Jahvè si rivolse a Mosè:
2 Speak to the sons of Israel, and you shall say to them: The man who will have made a vow and espoused his soul to God shall give the price according to the estimation.	2 «Parla ai figli di Israele, di’ loro: “Se uno deve adempiere un voto fatto a Jahvè, voto del valore di una persona:
3 If it is a male from twenty years to sixty years, he shall give fifty shekels of silver, by the measure of the Sanctuary;	3 se è un maschio dai venti ai sessant’anni sarà valutato cinquanta sicli d’argento, in base al siclo del santuario;
4 if it is a woman, thirty.	4 se è una femmina sarà valutata trenta sicli.
5 But from the fifth year until the twentieth, a male shall give twenty shekels; a female, ten.	5 Se è dai cinque ai dieci anni, il maschio sarà valutato venti sicli, la femmina dieci.
6 From one month until the fifth year, for a male, five shekels shall be given; for a female, three.	6 Se è da un mese ai cinque anni, il maschio sarà valutato cinque sicli d’argento, la femmina tre sicli d’argento.
7 At sixty years and beyond, a male shall give fifteen shekels; a female, ten.	7 Se è dai sessant'anni in su, il maschio sarà valutato quindici sicli, la femmina dieci sicli.
8 If he is poor, and he does not have the means to pay the estimation, he shall stand before the priest, and however much he will value him and see that he is able to pay, so much shall he give.	8 Se colui che emette il voto è così povero da non poter far fronte alla somma, presenterà la persona al sacerdote e il sacerdote ne determinerà il valore in base alle disponibilità di chi emette il voto.
9 But an animal which could be immolated to the Lord, if anyone has vowed it, shall be holy,	9 Se si tratta di un animale che può essere presentato a Jahvè sarà cosa sacra;
10 and it cannot be exchanged, that is, neither better for worse, nor worse for better. And if he has exchanged it, both that which was exchanged, and that for which it was exchanged shall be consecrated to the Lord.	10 non potrà essere commutato uno buono con uno cattivo né uno cattivo con uno buono e, se si vorrà sostituire un animale con un altro, quello promesso e quello che lo sostituisce saranno sacri.
11 An unclean animal which could not be sacrificed to the Lord, if anyone has vowed it, shall be led before the priest,	11 Se si tratta di un qualsiasi animale impuro che non può essere presentato in offerta a Jahvè, chi emette il voto presenterà l’animale al sacerdote
12 who, judging whether it is either good or bad, shall set the price.	12 e il sacerdote ne determinerà il valore giudicando se buono o cattivo; si dovrà stare alla valutazione del sacerdote;
13 But if he who offers it was willing to give, he shall add a fifth part above the estimation.	13 ma se lo si vuole riscattare, se ne aumenterà di un quinto il valor determinato.
14 If a man has vowed his house, and he has sanctified it to the Lord, the priest shall examine it, whether it is good or bad, and it shall be sold according to the price which he will have established.	14 Se uno consacra a Jahvè la propria casa il sacerdote ne determinerà il valore, giudicando se buona o cattiva: si dovrà stare alla valutazione fissata dal sacerdote;
15 But if he who vowed it was willing to redeem it, he shall give a fifth part beyond the estimation, and he shall have the house.	15 ma, se chi consacra la propria casa vuole riscattarla, aumenterà di un quinto il denaro della determinazione del valore e la casa resterà sua.
16 But if he has vowed a field of his possession, and has consecrated it to the Lord, the price shall be estimated according to the measure of the seed. If the land would be sown with thirty measures of barley, then let it be sold for fifty shekels of silver.	16 Se uno consacra a Jahvè un campo del suo patrimonio, il valore sarà in ragione della se mente: cinquanta sicli d’argento, per ogni khomer di semente d’orzo.
17 If he has vowed his field beginning from the current year of Jubilee, as much as it may be worth, so shall it be estimated.	17 Se consacra il suo campo nell’anno del giubileo, il valore resterà così fissato;
18 But if, after some amount of time, the priest shall evaluate the money according to the number of years that remain until the Jubilee, then the price shall be reduced.	18 ma se lo consacra dopo il giubileo, il sacerdote ne valuterà il prezzo in ragione degli anni che rimangono fino all’anno del giubileo: nella determinazione del valore si farà una riduzione.
19 But if he who had vowed it, was willing to redeem his field, he shall add a fifth part of the money to the estimation, and then he shall possess it.	19 Se chi consacra il campo vuole riscattarlo, ne aumenterà di un quinto il denaro del valore determinato e il campo resterà suo.
20 But if he is not willing to redeem it, then it shall be sold to any other; he who vowed it is no longer able to redeem it.	20 Se chi consacra il campo non lo riscatti ma lo vende a un altro, il campo non potrà più esser riscattato
21 For when the day of Jubilee arrives, it shall be sanctified to the Lord. And as a possession that has been consecrated, it rightfully belongs to the priest.	21 e, quando nel giubileo sarà lasciato dal compratore, resterà consacrato Jahvè come un campo votato all’anatema: passi in proprietà al sacerdote.
22 If a field has been bought, and it is not from the possession of ancestors, it shall be sanctified to the Lord.	22 Se il campo consacrato a Jahvè è comprato e non appartiene al patrimonio,
23 The priest shall evaluate the price according to the number of years until the Jubilee; and the one who had vowed it shall give to the Lord.	23 il sacerdote ne valuterà l’ammontare del valore fino all’anno del giubileo; il prezzo sarà dato lo stesso giorno come cosa sacra a Jahvè.
24 Then, in the Jubilee, it shall be returned to the former owner, the one who had sold it and who had held it within the lot of his possession.	24 Nell’anno da giubileo il campo ritornerà a colui dal quale il comprato e al quale appartiene come patrimonio fondiario.
25 All estimation shall be weighed according to the shekel of the Sanctuary. A shekel has twenty obols.	25 Ogni determinazione del valore sarà fatta in base al siclo del santuario: ogni siclo sarà di venti ghera.
26 The firstborn, which belong to the Lord, no one is able to sanctify or vow, whether it is an ox, or a sheep, they are for the Lord.	26 Nessuno tuttavia potrà consacrare un primogenito di animale perché in quanto tale è già oggetto di offerta a Jahvè: si tratti di bestiame grosso o minuto, è già di Jahvè.
27 But if it is an unclean animal, whoever offers it shall redeem it, according to your estimation, and he shall add a fifth part to the price. If he is not willing to redeem it, it shall be sold to another for whatever amount it was estimated by you.	27 Se è un animale impuro, potrà esser riscattato in base al suo valore con l’aggiunta di un quinto; se non sarà riscattato, verrà venduto in base al suo valore.
28 All that is consecrated to the Lord, whether it is a man, or an animal, or a field, shall not be sold; neither is it able to be redeemed. Anything, once it has been consecrated, shall be the Holy of holies to the Lord.	28 Però tutto ciò che un uomo consacra a Jahvè con anatema non si può né vendere né riscattare: si tratti di qualsiasi cosa di sua proprietà in uomini, bestiame, campi patrimoniali; ogni cosa votata all’anatema come offerta sacrosanta appartiene a Jahvè.
29 And all that has been consecrated, which is offered by man, shall not be redeemed, but shall surely die.	29 Ogni persona votata con anatema non potrà esser riscattata, sarà messa a morte.
30 All the tithes of the land, whether from the grain, or from the fruits of trees, are for the Lord and are sanctified to him.
31 But if anyone is willing to redeem his tithes, he shall add a fifth part to them.
32 Out of all the tithes of oxen, and sheep, and goats, which cross under the rod of the shepherd, every tenth one that arrives shall be sanctified to the Lord.
33 It shall not be chosen by what is good or bad; neither shall it be exchanged for another. If anyone has exchanged it, both that which was exchanged, and that for which it was exchanged, shall be sanctified to the Lord and shall not be redeemed.
34 These are the precepts, which the Lord commanded Moses for the sons of Israel on mount Sinai.
