1 Unto the end. A Psalm of David.	1 Salmo de David. Cuando estaba en el desierto de Judá.
2 Hear, O God, my prayer of supplication. Rescue my soul from the fear of the enemy.	2 Oh Dios, tú eres mi Dios, por ti madrugo, | mi alma está sedienta de ti; | mi carne tiene ansia de ti, | como tierra reseca, agostada, sin agua.
3 You have protected me from the assembly of the malignant, from a multitude of workers of iniquity.	3 ¡Cómo te contemplaba en el santuario | viendo tu fuerza y tu gloria!
4 For they have sharpened their tongues like a sword; they have formed their bow into a bitter thing,	4 Tu gracia vale más que la vida, | te alabarán mis labios.
5 so that they may shoot arrows from hiding at the immaculate.	5 Toda mi vida te bendeciré | y alzaré las manos invocándote.
6 They will suddenly shoot arrows at him, and they will not be afraid. They are resolute in their wicked talk. They have discussed hidden snares. They have said, “Who will see them?”	6 Me saciaré | como de enjundia y de manteca, | y mis labios te alabarán jubilosos.
7 They have been searching carefully for iniquities. Their exhaustive search has failed. Man will approach with a deep heart,	7 En el lecho me acuerdo de ti | y velando medito en ti,
8 and God will be exalted. The arrows of the little ones have become their wounds,	8 porque fuiste mi auxilio, | y a la sombra de tus alas canto con júbilo.
9 and their tongues have been weakened against them. All those who saw them have been troubled;	9 Mi alma está unida a ti, | y tu diestra me sostiene.
10 and every man was afraid. And they announced the works of God, and they understood his acts.	10 Pero los que intentan quitarme la vida | vayan a lo profundo de la tierra;
11 The just will rejoice in the Lord, and they will hope in him. And all the upright of heart will be praised.	11 sean pasados a filo de espada, | sirvan de pasto a los chacales.
	12 Mas el rey se alegrará en Dios, | el que jura por él se felicitará, | cuando tapen la boca a los mentirosos.
