1 Alleluia. Of Haggai and Zachariah.	1 Alleluia. Di Aggeo, e di Zacharia. Loda, o anima mia, il Signore: loderò il Signore, mentre avrò vita: canterò inni al mio Dio, finché io sarò.
2 Praise the Lord, O my soul. I will praise the Lord with my life. I will sing psalms to my God as long as I shall be. Do not trust in the leaders,	2 Non ponete vostra fidanza ne' grandi, ne' figliuoli degli uomini, nei qual non è salute.
3 in the sons of men, in whom there is no salvation.	3 Il loro spirito se n'andrà, ed e ritorneranno nella loro terra: allora andranno in fumo tutti i lor pensamenti.
4 His spirit will depart, and he will return to his earth. In that day, all their thoughts will perish.	4 Beato chi ha per suo aiuto il Dio di Giacobbe, ha sua speranza nel Signore Dio suo, il quale fè il cielo, e la terra, il mare, e tutte le cose, che sono in essi.
5 Blessed is he whose help is the God of Jacob: his hope is in the Lord God himself,	5 Egli, che mantiene la verità in eterno: fa giustizia a que', che soffrono ingiuria: da cibo ai famelici.
6 who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all the things that are in them.	6 Il Signore scioglie gl' incatenati, il Signore illumina i ciechi.
7 He preserves the truth forever. He executes judgment for those who suffer injury. He provides food for the hungry. The Lord releases those who are bound.	7 Il Signore rialza i caduti, il Signore ama i giusti.
8 The Lord enlightens the blind. The Lord sets upright those who have been thrown down. The Lord loves the just.	8 Il Signore è il custode de' forestieri: difenderà il pupillo, e la vedova, e sperderà i disegni de' peccatori.
9 The Lord watches over new arrivals. He will support the orphan and the widow. And he will destroy the ways of sinners.	9 Regnerà pe' secoli il Signore: il tuo Dio, o Sionne, per tutte le generazioni.
10 The Lord shall reign forever: your God, O Zion, from generation to generation.
