1 And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:	1 Тоді сказав Господь Мойсеєві:
2 “In the first month, on the first day of the month, you shall raise the tabernacle of the testimony,	2 «У перший день першого місяця поставиш храмину намету зборів.
3 and you shall place the ark in it, and you shall release the veil before it.	3 І покладеш там кивот завіту; і закриєш кивот завісою.
4 And having brought in the table, you shall place the things which were solemnly commanded upon it. The lampstand shall stand with its lamps,	4 Внесеш стіл і порозставляєш те, що має бути розкладеним на ньому; і внесеш світильник та й поставиш лямпи на ньому.
5 and the altar of gold, in which the incense is burned, shall stand before the ark of the testimony. You shall place the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle,	5 І поставиш золотий жертовник для кадила перед кивотом Свідоцтва; й повісиш запону при вході в храмину.
6 and before it, the altar of holocaust.	6 Поставиш і жертовник для всепалення перед входом у храмину, до намету зборів.
7 The washtub shall stand between the altar and the tabernacle, and you shall fill it with water.	7 Поставиш умивальницю між наметом зборів і жертовником, і наллєш до неї води.
8 And you shall encompass the atrium and its entrance with hangings.	8 І відгородиш подвір’я навколо, і завісиш запону у воротях подвір’я.
9 And, having taken up the oil of unction, you shall anoint the tabernacle along with its articles, so that they may be sanctified.	9 Візьмеш мира до помазання та й помажеш храмину й усе, що в ній, і освятиш її, і всю утвар її, і воно буде святим.
10 The altar of holocaust and all its vessels,	10 Помажеш і жертовник для всепалення і все знаряддя його; та освятиш жертовник, і він стане пресвятим.
11 the washtub with its base, and all things, you shall consecrate with the oil of unction, so that they may be the Holy of holies.	11 Помажеш також і умивальницю й підставку її, і освятиш її.
12 And you shall bring forward Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony, and, having washed them with water,	12 Потім приведеш Арона й синів його до входу в намет зборів та й пообмиваєш їх водою.
13 you shall clothe them in the holy vestments, so that they may minister to me, and so that their unction may accomplish an everlasting priesthood.”	13 І вдягнеш Арона в священні ризи; помажеш його і освятиш його, щоб служив мені священиком.
14 And Moses did all that the Lord had instructed.	14 Приведеш і синів його і повдягаєш їх у хитони.
15 Therefore, in the first month of the second year, on the first day of the month, the tabernacle was put in place.	15 І помажеш їх, як помазав їх батька, щоб були мені священиками; і нехай буде їм помазання на вічне священство, з покоління до покоління.»
16 And Moses raised it up, and he positioned the panels as well as the bases and the bars, and he set up the columns,	16 І виконав Мойсей усе, як заповідав йому Господь, так зробив він.
17 and he stretched out the roof over the tabernacle, imposing a cover above it, just as the Lord had decreed.	17 Першого дня першого місяця другого року поставлено храмину.
18 And he placed the testimony in the ark, applying the bars beneath, and the oracle above.	18 Поставив Мойсей храмину; і поставив підніжки до неї, і порозставляв дошки її, і позасовував засуви її, і поздвигав стовпи її.
19 And when he had brought the ark into the tabernacle, he drew the veil before it, in order to fulfill the commandment of the Lord.	19 І нап’яв намет над храминою, і поклав накриття над наметом зверху, як заповідав Господь Мойсеєві.
20 And he placed the table in the tabernacle of the testimony, at the north side, beyond the veil,	20 Взяв він Свідоцтво і поклав його в кивот; і приладнав носила до кивота, і поставив віко на кивот зверху.
21 arranging before it the bread of the presence, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.	21 І вніс кивот у храмину, і спустив завісу й закрив нею кивот Свідоцтва, як заповідав Господь Мойсеєві.
22 And he placed the lampstand in the tabernacle of the testimony, away from the table, on the south side,	22 Потім поставив стіл в наметі зборів, на північному боці храмини, ззовні завіси.
23 setting the lamps in order, according to the precept of the Lord.	23 І порозкладав на ньому хліби в порядку перед Господом, як велів Господь Мойсеєві.
24 He also positioned the altar of gold under the roof of the testimony, opposite the veil,	24 Поставив також і світильник в наметі зборів, навпроти столу, на південному боці храмини;
25 and he heaped upon it the incense of aromatics, just as the Lord had commanded Moses.	25 а на ньому поставив лямпи перед Господом, як заповідав Господь Мойсеєві.
26 And he positioned the tent at the entrance of the tabernacle of the testimony,	26 Поставив і золотий жертовник у наметі зборів, перед завісою.
27 and the altar of holocaust in the vestibule of the testimony, offering the holocaust and the sacrifices upon it, just as the Lord had decreed.	27 І запалив на ньому благовонні пахощі, як заповідав Господь Мойсеєві.
28 Likewise, he stationed the washtub between the tabernacle of the testimony and the altar, filling it with water.	28 І повісив завісу при вході в храмину.
29 And Moses and Aaron, along with his sons, washed their hands and feet,	29 А жертовник для всепалення поставив коло входу в храмину, в наметі зборів, і вчинив на ньому всепалення й офіри, як повелів Господь Мойсеєві.
30 whenever they would enter the covering of the covenant, and when they approached to the altar, just as the Lord had instructed Moses.	30 Поставив і умивальницю між наметом зборів і жертовником, і налив до неї води на обмивання.
31 And he raised up the atrium around the tabernacle and the altar, drawing the hanging at its entrance. After all these things were perfected,	31 І вмивали собі нею Арон і сини його руки й ноги.
32 the cloud covered the tabernacle of the testimony, and the glory of the Lord filled it.	32 Як увіходили в намет зборів і як приступали до жертовника, обмивались, як заповідав Господь Мойсеєві.
33 Neither could Moses enter the covering of the covenant: the cloud was covering all things, and the majesty of the Lord was flashing. For the cloud had covered everything.	33 І відгородив подвір’я навколо храмини й жертовника, і завісив запону на воротях подвір’я. Так довершив Мойсей діло.
34 Whenever the cloud departed from the tabernacle, the sons of Israel set out by their companies.	34 Тоді хмара вкрила намет зборів, і слава Господня сповнила храмину;
35 But if it remained hanging over it, they remained in the same place.	35 і не міг Мойсей увійти в намет зборів, бо на ньому покоїлася хмара, й слава Господня сповнила храмину.
36 Certainly, the cloud of the Lord lay over the tabernacle by day, and the fire by night, being seen by all the people of Israel throughout all their resting places.	36 І як хмара піднімалася з-над храмини, сини Ізраїля рушали в дорогу в усіх своїх переходах.
	37 А як хмара не піднімалась, то й вони не рушали, аж покіль вона знову не піднімалась.
	38 Бо хмара Господня була над храминою вдень, уночі ж вогонь був над нею, перед очима всього.
