Revelation 6

NEW JERUSALEM	EL LIBRO DEL PUEBLO DE DIOS
1 Then, in my vision, I saw the Lamb break one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four livingcreatures shout in a voice like thunder, 'Come!'	1 Después vi que el Cordero abría el primero de los siete sellos, y oí al primero de los cuatro Seres Vivientes que decía con voz de trueno: «Ven».
2 Immediately I saw a white horse appear, and its rider was holding a bow; he was given a victor's crownand he went away, to go from victory to victory.	2 Y vi aparecer un caballo blanco. Su jinete tenía un arco, recibió una corona y salió triunfante, para seguir venciendo.
3 When he broke the second seal, I heard the second living creature shout, 'Come!'	3 Cuando el Cordero abrió el segundo sello, oí al segundo de los Seres Vivientes que decía: «Ven».
4 And out came another horse, bright red, and its rider was given this duty: to take away peace from theearth and set people kil ing each other. He was given a huge sword.	4 Y vi aparecer otro caballo, rojo como el fuego. Su jinete recibió el poder de desterrar la paz de la tierra, para que los hombres se mataran entre sí; y se le dio una gran espada.
5 When he broke the third seal, I heard the third living creature shout, 'Come!' Immediately I saw a blackhorse appear, and its rider was holding a pair of scales;	5 Cuando el Cordero abrió el tercer sello, oí al tercero de los Seres Vivientes que decía: «Ven». Y vi aparecer un caballo negro. Su jinete tenía una balanza en la mano;
6 and I seemed to hear a voice shout from among the four living creatures and say, 'A day's wages for aquart of corn, and a day's wages for three quarts of barley, but do not tamper with the oil or the wine.'	6 y oí una voz en medio de los cuatro Seres Vivientes, que decía: «Se vende una ración de trigo por un denario y tres raciones de cebada por un denario. Y no eches a perder el aceite y el vino».
7 When he broke the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth living creature shout, 'Come!'	7 Cuando el Cordero abrió el cuarto sello, oí al cuarto de los Seres Vivientes que decía: «Ven».
8 Immediately I saw another horse appear, deathly pale, and its rider was called Death, and Hadesfol owed at its heels. They were given authority over a quarter of the earth, to kil by the sword, by famine, byplague and through wild beasts.	8 Y vi aparecer un caballo amarillo. Su jinete se llamaba «Muerte», y el Abismo de la muerte lo seguía. Y recibió poder sobre la cuarta parte de la tierra, para matar por medio de la espada, del hambre, de la peste y de las fieras salvajes.
9 When he broke the fifth seal, I saw underneath the altar the souls of all the people who had been kil edon account of the Word of God, for witnessing to it.	9 Cuando el Cordero abrió el quinto sello, vi debajo del altar las almas de los que habían sido inmolados a causa de la Palabra de Dios y del testimonio que habían dado.
10 They shouted in a loud voice, 'Holy, true Master, how much longer wil you wait before you passsentence and take vengeance for our death on the inhabitants of the earth?'	10 Ellas clamaban a voz en cuello: «¿Hasta cuándo, Señor santo y verdadero, tardarás en hacer justicia y en vengar nuestra sangre sobre los habitantes de la tierra?».
11 Each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to be patient a little longer, until the roll wascompleted of their fel ow-servants and brothers who were stil to be killed as they had been.	11 Entonces se le dio a cada uno una vestidura blanca y se les dijo que esperaran todavía un poco, hasta que se completara el número de sus compañeros de servicio y de sus hermanos, que iban a sufrir la misma muerte.
12 In my vision, when he broke the sixth seal, there was a violent earthquake and the sun went as blackas coarse sackcloth; the moon turned red as blood al over,	12 Y cuando el Cordero abrió el sexto sello, vi que se produjo un violento terremoto. El sol se puso negro como ropa de luto y la luna quedó como ensangrentada;
13 and the stars of the sky fell onto the earth like figs dropping from a fig tree when a high wind shakes it;	13 los astros del cielo cayeron sobre la tierra, como caen los higos verdes cuando la higuera es sacudida por un fuerte viento.
14 the sky disappeared like a scroll rol ing up and al the mountains and islands were shaken from theirplaces.	14 El cielo se replegó como un pergamino que se enrolla, y todas las montañas y las islas fueron arrancadas de sus sitios.
15 Then al the kings of the earth, the governors and the commanders, the rich people and the men ofinfluence, the whole population, slaves and citizens, hid in caverns and among the rocks of the mountains.	15 Los reyes y los grandes de la tierra, los jefes militares, los ricos y los poderosos, los esclavos y los hombres libres, todos se escondieron en las cavernas y entre las rocas y las montañas,
16 They said to the mountains and the rocks, 'Fal on us and hide us away from the One who sits on thethrone and from the retribution of the Lamb.	16 y decían a las montañas y a las rocas: «Caigan sobre nosotros, y ocúltennos de la mirada de aquel que está sentado en el trono y de la ira del Cordero».
17 For the Great Day of his retribution has come, and who can face it?'	17 Porque ha llegado el gran Día de su ira, y ¿quién podrá resistir?
